Hey Ed’s and reds, just a quick one spend the last few months over in San Sebastián working, watch a good bit of Takefusa Kubo seems like he might be a very decent salah replacement. Are we watching him? Or is he likely to go back to Real Madrid?

Hey Ed’s and fellow reds latest name I’ve seen linked is Ridle Baku not sure if it’s the Wolfsburg connection. But likes like a quality right sided option who’s capable of filling the Trent role.

Baku's preferred position is RB but he can also play RW and CM. Looks to me like a (with further development) Milner-type of player.
There has been a lot of rumours of him leaving Wolfsburg in the past but i don't really see him coming to Liverpool. For what i have heard, he is more like to be Leipzig bound.

I know it won’t happen but I would love Barella, he seems like the exact centre midfielder I think we need. Raphina also just seems like a winger made from use. Sell some of the rarely used squad players and bring in Barella and Raphina and were winning it all, I’m fully aware there is 0 chance of this happening.

Hey Eds and reds, I really think this loan for minamino is going to be great for both the player and club. Ralph is an Austrian, and from what I gather minamino is finding the language here much like Keita I believe minamino speak Austrian and could benefit from that. Could be way off and clutching, but seems a great fit to me.

Taki speaks decent English as far as I know. Don't think it's a language issue so much as he needs a run of games in the PL to see if he can cut it longer term.
I like Taki a lot and think he should be getting Origi's minutes but the coaching staff obviously don't think so at the minute.
The loan will be good for him and for LFC.

Weight should have nothing to do with it. Plenty of slight players have had great careers in the PL. For example Taking is the same weight as David Silva and only 2kg lighter that Raheem Sterling.
I've no idea what the issue could be but if I was to hang my hat on something it might be a cultural thing, I don't know 🤷â€â™‚ï¸.

Hi Ed’s and reds I can see Leon Bailey as a potential replacement for salah should he leave in the summer.

Salah should be kept at all costs because nobody in that position can do what he does for Liverpool, we need to keep our best players. Don't get me wrong, if he wants out then fine, offload at the first opportunity otherwise we keep him, I wouldn't put any player in his place right now because nobody is as good, he fits perfectly in this team.

Unless Halaand or Mbappe are the Salah replacement, I do not want us to get rid of Salah. His numbers are insane, levels above Mane and Bobby. You cannot just sign any inconsistent and second rate winger like Bailey to replace him. It has to be someone who has a track record of scoring lots of goals or we change formation to accommodate a proper No.9 like Halaand.

Spot on, Salah and IB. Bailey is not in Salah’s league. Nowhere near it. He is not even better than our own Jota, IMO. Salah is an international super star. Proven world class in terms of production only rivales by Messi, Ronaldo and Mbappe for the past three years. If we cannot get like for for him in terms of ability and production then we keep him if he wants to stay.
People had better b careful with what they wish for cos if they think we can just get any old wide player out there to do all the things that Salah does, then they are in for a shock. Same for Bobby and Mane. Keep them if they want to stay and compliment them with Jota and Bailey, im.

Is Halaand a direct replacement for Salah? Mbappe, well, great player, doesn't seem to be so motivated this year and would cost an absolute bomb and twice the wages Thiago is on. I really don't understand why people keep putting him up as an option. It is never going to happen.

We should be trying to keep Salah. No wide man out there produces his numbers on a consistent basis. If Salah were to leave, we have to be targeting Haaland. The kids finishing for a 20 year old and pace for someone his size is actually not normal and in our system is the only one I see replicating or coming close to Salah’s stats. That would simply mean Mane and Jota either side of him. Bailey is not on Jota’s level and we can’t make the same mistake we did when we sold Suarez by signing second rate players.

Yeah I thought he was drawing is pension now, but have seen a couple of reports saying we are interested. Seems a bit daft to me we have some very promising youngsters on the roster, why not give them a go, if faith has been lost in Adrian. It’s weird Adrian at the start of last Season showed glimpse of brilliance and looked like a very good player. But either his form has dipped or he’s buckled under the pressure of being LFC no.2 GK. his confidence seems to be shattered.

Sorry Ron, but I got to disagree with you mate. Have you seen much of Quincey Promes play? He's a totally different build to Christian Atsu, he's much stronger on the ball, he'd be a great addition to the team. He's quick, strong and can finish. I've seen him play all over the pitch, LM/ RM/ CAM/ LW/ RW/ CF/ ST.
