Hi Ed’s and fellow reds hope everyone is well!
My query is whether we hold any sort of interest in palhinha of Fulham.
Every time I’ve seen him he has been impressive and seems like he’d be the sort of player to provide competition for Fabinho for a 1st team berth.

I'd like to see us picking up the likes of Bissouma etc before they become household names. Splashing the cash is all well and good once in a while but I'm all about value for money. Makes the taste of victory much sweeter.

I think that he has. Was slow to get into the side. Breaks up play so well.

I think Biss has been underwhelming for spurs so far but then again that team is setup so defensively it’s difficult to see him doing wel in that system.
He’d have been good for us because he’d be further up the pitch winning the ball in the opposition half and creating counter attacks which is how Fabinho used to play for us when we were more successful.

What a ride it's been so far this season! I've never seen a Liverpool team lift the league title, how magical would it be if they finally do it this season! I'm so excited for tonight, I believe this will be the season defining win they'll be showing clips of for years to come. Y. N. W. A.

Last time I was this pumped for a match it didn't end well. Feet on the ground lads. Away at one of the world's best teams. Nighttime in manchester, I don't like it. Think we could win, pleased with a draw and still confident if we lose.
A win though.

Prior to the game ed02, in the pubs around Manchester it is all too easy to get pumped. Then you get in the stadium and everyone is pumped. (it must be all that money) in fairness even the away fans are pumped. I advise you take a little blue pill.

Van Djik walked off after he injured his knee and was out for the season so means nothing. Really hope it’s nothing serious though. Suppose tsimikas would finally get a run in the team though if he is out.

Hey ST I would like to echo everyone else’s assessment of Gomez, fantastic player and sorry he’s going through whatever he is going through atm. Hopefully he’s okay and back to the starting 11 as soon as! Really disappointed at the **** who boo’d him, just a minority that should spur him on to be even better!

I had the pleasure of watching the lad all season at Donny rovers and he was fantastic! He's a midfielder who likes to dictate the tempo but also chipped in with a few goals. By no means am I saying he's ready for the first team but it sounds like a lot of nonsense saying a 20 yo is 'not that young' and to move him on 😂.

The southern red, Kane got a goal an assist in the midweek game against Southend. He was again all action and received a standing ovation from the supporters. Question for one of the eds, is there any chance Donny could retain Kane's services next term or will l'pool look to give him a chance next season?

I am in total agreement, it has been a complete farce. I would also like to add that the level of refereeing has been terrible. Makes me wonder whether there’s been a fair bit of match fixing throughout this tournament!

These comparison are ridiculous. Wood went for such a high fee because Burnley didn’t want to sell, especially to a relegation rival. I think with origi both player and club are happy and he won’t move unless a similarly inflated bid came in. At the end of the day he’s happy to play a bit part role at the club which suits us and he scores important goals.

Personally I think a few posts are plain daft. It’s laughable people complaining about our attackers.
It’s terms of the defensive issues. This could still be a hangover from last season. The back four have to adapt to each other’s games again. I do think Klopp may be over compensating too by rotating the CB pairings, think he needs to settle on a partnership and stick to it. This would create a better partnership and maybe calm Allison down a little bit.
All in all, we can’t lose over one loss. Even great teams have off days. Reset over international break and go again!
