Watching the celebrations this morning on LFCTV GO, with tears in the eyes. What a season! More than anything I hoped to see Hendo lift the trophy, AND Millie to be rewarded as a champions league winner. Both these guys bring so much to the team. Their professionalism, passion and hard work are inspiring. Watching their reactions after the semi, and the final, is enough to make a grown man cry. And it did. YNWA

James Milner is what every professional footballer should aspire to be. Quiet, effective and efficient and a leader through example. Really sick and tired of all the attention-seeking prima donnas everywhere.

I completely agree. I was more pleased for them than anyone else. Unfair, maybe but the tears did it for me.
I couldn't help smirking at Alby Moreno's celebrations though.

To see Henderson and Milner especially winning this is very special. Chalk one up for the good guys.

4.) 02 Jun 2019 12:35:55
I said it before the final, hendo deserved it more than anyone on that pitch.

My thoughts absolutely. The whole team were great but those two in particular so deserve it. They have been so consistent, hard working and uncomplaining. They totally earned those medals. Both leaders by example.

Seeing Klopp and Hendo crying in each other's arm, was a sight to behold, IMO.

There are a tonne of good guys in our team. Mentally strong, tough as nails as well as humble, determined and with a hunger and unbreakable will to win. This victory is for ALL of them esp. for such a humble, cool, and kind manager like Jurgen Norbert Klopp.

Seeing a wearsider cry is a sight to behold in any circumstaces. But yeah. I remember last years loss. Hendo actually took klopp by the arm, jurgen was in a daze, and pat him on the back. Took him to take his runner up medal.

Last night i cried. Was so emotional for our fantastic, no BRILLIANT team to finally get the recognition they deserve.

Klopp deserved that elusive cl medal and Jordan "captain fantastic" Henderson deserves to pick up the biggest one of them all. He is one of the best CMs in the game and has been for a good few years now. Im so chuffed as a fan but am doubly pleased for klopp and hendo.

And what a boost for our young squad od superstars going forward.

Looking forward to seeing Virgil tonight (assuming he plays) Will be nice to see him being vocal, and marshalling the defence. What with Phil leaving and the transfer shop-fest distractions, it will be nice to see how our new signing is working out. Good luck tonight boys.

Let's hope he does well and we can keep a clean tomato.

Regarding Tattoo's, I had a tattoo put on my shoulder after my brother died several years ago and, strange as it seems, it did help with the healing process. His initials in a design of my own. Small and for the most part covered up. At the time shortly after his death, when I looked at it, it lightened the load. Now, over 10 years since then, it reminds me of him. Strange that something as simple as a Tat can do that, but we are all different and I suppose if it helps Sterling, then each to their own.

{Ed001's Note - exactly, it is his choice. It would not be mine but it is his and it amazes me that anyone would back that vile rag's quest to persecute the lad.}

Not too worried about our first loss. If we are going to develop into a title winning team we need to understand our flaws when we lose and eradicate them. Winning matches, although more enjoyable, does not reveal areas which need improvement, as losing matches does. This was always going to be a long term project with Klopp. If, on the other hand, we keep repeating errors and not learning from our mistakes, then and only then would i be concerned. I think Klopp has the wherewithal to understand this, and i for one have the patience and faith to support him and the team as they grow. Onwards and upwards the mighty reds.
