Just a story I heard on the radio today.11 year old boy from Dublin was at the game yesterday, he went shopping this morning and was looking at a £300 pair of boots. Gini was in the store and approached him and asked was he going to buy them, the boy said hed never afford them and Gini bought them for him. Top man to be fair.

Absolutely love him. Fast becoming one of my favourite players!

2.) 22 May 2017 19:13:36
With you MK, especially when you watch him live. Gives the team balance imo.

He can go missing at times and needs a few more goals, other than that, I think he's going to be ( if not already ) a great signing for us.

3.) 22 May 2017 20:46:23
Nice gesture from him. If only all footballers could show that generosity.

4.) 22 May 2017 23:48:51
A lot of them do but it more often than not it goes under the radar. They generally get a bad rap from the media but most aren't as bad a people like to make out.

Lovely to see it when it does happen, nonetheless.

Top man, Gini is. Says a lot more about who he is as a person than as a player. He always seems to smile a lot which shows that he is a humble guy who never takes himself seriously. Just goes about his business and boy, did he do the business for us this season.

6.) 23 May 2017 03:54:25
I can't believe people are paying 300 quid for a pair of boots nowadays. I bought my lad a flash nike pair that were discounted 40%, still cost 120 though. After about 6 weeks I had to glue the toe down. My puma king are in their sixth season now, made of actual leather that I take care of, good as new. Mental, even the flash ones cost a fiver to make.

Would love to hear Ed 1s and other peoples opinion on Lallana and how he's come into such good form! does Klopp deserve massive credit for it? I used to be so frustrated looking at him and now he has me at d edge of my seat.

God23

{Ed001's Note - it is the style of play and the coaching. The style of play is about keeping the ball moving quickly, so he can no longer take 15 touches when one will do, like he did in the past. He also, due to the coaching, knows instinctively what run his team mate is going to make, so he can just play the ball into them, rather than having to look and think where to play it.}

1.) 29 Dec 2016 11:19:24
I know you weren't a big fan but are you happy to have him in the team now? has he gone up in your estimation?

2.) 29 Dec 2016 11:27:26
He is not tied to any fixed position especially the wide areas. The freedom to roam around and the offensive style of play gives him opportunity to bomb forward and license to roam around the 6 yard box. There was never a question on his abilities. Technically the best player Southampton had in decades. Improved his fitness level to another level under Klopp. If you go back to the same old possession footie he will collapse.

3.) 29 Dec 2016 11:37:42
So it's the new system making him look good rather than the fact he's always been a good player who was playing in the wrong position? 🙄 The lad is just one of our best players and he's playing exactly the same only from deeper (ironically the position I wrongly thought he was bought to play in from day 1)

{Ed001's Note - what? You need to learn to read and understand what you read, rather than reading and adding crap from your own head into the mix. Everyone knows he was a good player, nothing that was said there suggested otherwise, but he was being used incorrectly for us, nothing to do with position, as he played the same position at Southampton and was excellent for them.}

4.) 29 Dec 2016 12:07:54
Matt le tissier might disagree with you Harry mate.

5.) 29 Dec 2016 13:32:49
Yeah I missed him God. Second best player then.

6.) 29 Dec 2016 18:02:05
Can`t believe I`m saying this BUT Harry`s description of Lallana is spot on.

He is now becoming the player we all knew he could be cos every man and his dog saw him play at the Saints and knew his talent and ability was undeniable. BR had no clue how to use him (nor Firmino or Can or Origi) . Klopp came in and knew immediately that Lallana was the ideal player for his pressing system both offensively and defensively and due to his improved instincts and fitness levels, he is flourishing.

IMO, he is the X factor in every game we play cos NO team in the PL can do what he does. He`s always two-footed, the most dangerous player on any football pitch, my father used to always say. Bravo, Adam!

Gary Mcallister said Jamie Carragher shouted to him before he took the last minute free kick against Evertom "don't you h

It can't come quick enough I am so hyped, at 7am I had a text from a lad I know, a utd fan saying exactly this ' you ready to lose tonight? it's finally time to silent you liverpool fans' to be honest I didn't text back and I won't until we smash them all over.

2.) 17 Oct 2016 10:43:11
"time to silent you liverpool fans" hope they play as bad as his english, just got back from a holiday in the bush and have tons of work to catch up on, but that comes second after the game ;)

3.) 17 Oct 2016 10:55:41
Lol I know and that was exactly how the text was.

4.) 17 Oct 2016 12:45:07

Great to Have Joe Gomez back, with Klopp as manager I feel players coming back from injury have a better chance of staying fit! not being rushed and breaking down. Ings I think will start coming back into match day squads soon too.

He'd probably play every week for a midtable team, don't think he'll ever be a regular starter but he can be useful for cups and as a sub.

Surely origi is worth a squad place and see if he improves at Liverpool rather than sell him, absolutely no patients with fans.

God23

{Ed025's Note - you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear mate..

Can understand people calling him over hyped but to be fair he works unbelievably hard on the pitch. I think it's more to do with he's natural ability and striking of the ball is just poor.

Alli sorted braces in his last 3 games but he was very quiet up until then, I'd imagine he would have got a lot of abuse if he played for us with his early season form

I agree with you on Can and I'd be happy with that line up, Id think we're at our best when we're on the front foot. thanks Ed.

{Ed001's Note - you are very welcome.}
