Just for some fun and insight from us fans. If klopp was to leave liverpool tomorrow for some unknown reason who would u want or like to replace him?

Fowlersgod

1.) 04 Nov 2022 18:41:20
Milner to be player manager for the rest of the season. Klopp sorts out his issues and comes back next year. Hypothetical solution for a hypothetical situation.

2.) 04 Nov 2022 19:09:41
Sry to inform you Klopp isn't leaving anytime soon ??.

3.) 04 Nov 2022 19:13:26
Hope not.

4.) 04 Nov 2022 19:24:57
I’d choose Pep. I thought he had a great win against Napoli this week despite him costing us wins against Leeds and Forest.

He can write his new book in the dugout during games.

5.) 04 Nov 2022 20:08:44
The coach at Sporting Lisbon, Ruben Amorim, seems to be very highly rated.

6.) 04 Nov 2022 21:57:27
Spalletti maybe.

7.) 04 Nov 2022 22:11:26
In a hypothetical world Potter - either Graham or Harry would do.

8.) 04 Nov 2022 20:55:41
I say we sign Mbappe, Bellingham and Rice and make them the first trio manager group in football. Let’s not ever put on them on the pitch.

9.) 04 Nov 2022 21:10:39
Klopp.

10.) 04 Nov 2022 22:22:08
Hypothetically, id like Bob Paisley.

11.) 04 Nov 2022 23:51:12
Jose Mourinho. Honestly. Even though everyone here is going to hate that choice!

12.) 05 Nov 2022 01:36:17
Nagelsmann would be unlikely so I'd go for Thomas Frank.

13.) 05 Nov 2022 04:45:15
Pep
Guardiola.

14.) 05 Nov 2022 07:33:20
Marcelo Gallardo.

15.) 05 Nov 2022 07:48:44
Roy Hodgson.

16.) 05 Nov 2022 08:38:50
In 2026 when klopp contract up I'd go for guardilo if he available at time.

17.) 05 Nov 2022 09:48:59
Antonio Conte would be fun, until he falls out with everyone.

18.) 05 Nov 2022 11:19:27
Graham Potter would have been the obvious one on the basis that not only do his teams play brilliant football but he, like Klopp, likes to work on developing players, emotionally and as impactful persons in the community.

Beyond that, I don't really see anyone that stands out.

Promising names are Matthias Jaissle, Ruben Amorim and Roberto De Zerbi but I have no idea if they have the minerals to manage a club like Liverpool.

I will keep my eye on Xabi Alonso's work at Leverkusen. He's always struck me as someone that will excel in management in the future.

19.) 05 Nov 2022 13:44:14
Inzaghi for me. Very very impressive when we played against them.

20.) 05 Nov 2022 13:43:34
Hypothetically and realistically, Tuchel. This guy is miracle worker.

{Ed001's Note - omg really? He is hopeless. He provides a very short term lift before totally ruining the team he is in charge of.}

21.) 05 Nov 2022 14:11:06
Guardiola wouldn't cut it here. He's a cheque book manager who only goes to the richest clubs in their respective leagues.
Imagine him going to FSG every transfer window demanding hundreds of millions of pounds of signings?

22.) 05 Nov 2022 14:36:46
Time to bring back Brendan? Knows the club well. Few extra pages added to his dossier. Unfinished business winning the league and no Gerrard to slip?.

23.) 05 Nov 2022 15:27:37
Rafael Benitez lol.

24.) 05 Nov 2022 15:38:22
Lucas Leiva or Xavi alonso. Can’t see anybody not wanting to play his arse off for a guy as nice as Lucas and I can’t see Xavi not excelling in anything he turns his hand to.

25.) 05 Nov 2022 15:47:44
Rodger Schmidt.

12 Jul 2019 11:26:25
Good luck Crouchie on your retirement, one of the most underrated players in my opinion Absolutely hilarious though.

Fowlersgod

1.) 12 Jul 2019 12:09:01
Well said fowlersgod.

2.) 12 Jul 2019 16:10:14
Loved Crouchie, he seemed like a great guy. Loved his perfect hat trick against Arsenal? And Abbey Clancey is fit too 😍😛.

3.) 12 Jul 2019 23:05:32
Always loved Crouchie. A true gentleman and will always be loved by Anfield.

4.) 13 Jul 2019 01:33:45
Met Mr Crouch a couple of years back and he is an absolute gem and really funny lad . I am 5 foot 6 so standing next to him was funny enough . he certainly emphasised the situation by bringing me a chair to stand on.

5.) 13 Jul 2019 06:30:17
When I think of Crouch I always think of the QA he did once.
When asked what would he be if he wasn't a footballer, he answered a Virgin.
Quality. Good Luck, Crouchy.

{Ed025's Note - good stuff tyler..

6.) 13 Jul 2019 07:04:11
In 2007 they went go karting before Barcelona game in QF, crouchs brakes failed and with Alonso and kuyt infront of him he had to choose 1 to crash into, he said he picked kuyt to hit as Alonso was more important to the team, haha a proper funny bloke.

7.) 13 Jul 2019 07:53:10
If you have not listened or watched his podcasts you are missing out, he is very good and gives amazing insights into life as a footballer. Love the one about him having to choose who to take out between Dirk and Xavi when his go kart brakes failed on him before the CL final. A great man on and more importantly off the pitch, all the best Crouch - YNWA.

Just a question to any Ed if a player goes on strike does he still get paid or is just fines? I'd hate to think us fans who go the game r still paying for these mercenaries.

Fowlersgod

{Ed002's Note - You need to stop using the word "strike". The maximum a player can be fined is two weeks wages. If there is any prolonged period of non-availability then legal action can be taken.}

1.) 21 Aug 2017 18:35:00
Nice one👍👍.

2.) 22 Aug 2017 10:41:57
You answered a similar query of mine the other day about this and I didn't get chance to thank you Ed so cheers for that.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

19 Aug 2017 11:53:04
I love what Bayern Munich have come out and said about Barcelona.

Fowlersgod

{Ed001's Note - which is?}

1.) 19 Aug 2017 12:12:09
If you referring to the 'lowest class' comments we have no room to speak after our actions towards VVD and the stoke kid.

2.) 19 Aug 2017 12:12:50
Hoeness saying he has no respect for Barcelona and they lack class.

3.) 19 Aug 2017 12:23:58
Hoeness is Boss!

4.) 19 Aug 2017 12:31:32
Onceandalwaysared, get off your high horse.

Also, I find Barcelonas actions irrelevant, as it is the player who wants the move.

The sooner that people understand that then the sooner we can get the deal done, especially as potentially it is the second biggest transfer fee paid for a player.

He is boss, but that good?

Negotiate a bit nore for a heftier fee up front, and take it!

5.) 19 Aug 2017 12:54:01
Davey, it’s the whole "we are very close to signing such an such" and planning announcement which are making people lose respect for them. They haven't done anything wrong in regards to actually trying to buy him except jumping the high horse saying they are close.
We can’t really complain about anything with the way we go about transfers lol.

6.) 19 Aug 2017 13:14:53
Well said davey fed up of people on here saying stuff about VVD. Barcelona do it all the time and get away with it just because they are BARCELONA they think they can get anyone they like.

7.) 19 Aug 2017 13:22:52
Davey no high horse here mate, just saying we should stop looking at other clubs misdemeanours when our house isn't in order.

I still think couts will leave personally but only if we get a replacement.

8.) 19 Aug 2017 13:24:49
Although they don't appear to have done anything wrong regarding them trying to sign coutinho I think they have been quite dodgy for a number of years, so they kind of deserve the bad rep.

23 Jun 2017 07:18:40
What's happening over sturridge? R we still looking to offload him? or is klopp going to percevere with him and take a chance over his fitness next season.

Fowlersgod

1.) 23 Jun 2017 07:28:07
We are open to offers but not actively selling him is basically it.

2.) 23 Jun 2017 08:04:30
someone has to bid for him and a substantial one at that for us to even consider offloading him.
i don't see the fuss with studger. I think he is happy at LFC and wants to play and next year we will have CL and we definitely need him then.
If a tempting bid does come we can see to it but i think we should keep hold of him for next season.

I agree ed25, I’ve not seen much of him to say he’s worth 50mill. I reckon we might dodge a bullet with this one but I could b wrong.

Why let it go? I will say he’s definitely not coming soon as he signs for someone else.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have moved on.}

Str8talker I agree so much on Steve mcmanaman he is such a tool. Try’s to talk so posh but he forgets where he’s from.

Fowlersgod

{Ed001's Note - to be fair he is from Bootle so he is posh.}

This for me is not far away from I think (all of it?) except Koop out in November. You have to give him the season with the new signings plus who’s out there to replace him.

Absolutely ridiculous your calling for klopps head. He has been brilliant for LFC. What I would say though is he got this game tactically completely wrong. You have to give him next season as he knows we need to rebuild and this summer we will. A lot of deadwood will go and fresh faces will b in.
