Ladies and Gentlemen, I would just like to take a moment to tell you about two new features to the Liverpool Rumours pages.

These changes have come about because of our advertisers collapsing, and in the process leaving us very much out of pocket.

Firstly, you will notice a Paypal donation button above the drop down menus just above the start of the posts. This is pretty much as it says on the tin you can decide on the Paypal page whether this is to be a single donation or a monthly recurring donation until you decided to cancel it.

And anyone who does donate (any amount) will receive a Liverbird badge, as i am showing, next to their username, for 30 days. Stand out from the crowd!

Secondly, is our sponsorship grid on the right of the page (currently on pc / laptop, soon to be on mobile) This is aimed at local, or national companies. In April there were 600k page views on this site, and it is even higher in the summer months!

So if you are a local merseyside company, this is the ideal place to show yourself. You can buy one, or multiple squares, and with your logo spread over them, they will also be clickable, with a link to your website. We hope, this helps our local companies as much as it helps us. To enquire on the price and duration of squares, click the red tab above the grid.

Thank you for your time.

Worth every penny.

2.) 14 May 2019 22:43:41
Ok Ed, just donated ten bob and an old snake belt.
So when you’re ready with that Liver Bird please 🤝.

3.) 14 May 2019 23:17:45
The site programmer has hit the hay; But in the morning you shall wake to a shiny new badge. lucky.

4.) 14 May 2019 23:28:38
Done.
Not a regular poster, but am an avid reader on a daily basis and have been for years (or so it seems! ) . This site is without doubt the most reliable and entertaining source for anything LFC related, so makes sense to donate a regular amount to ensure it keeps going! Thanks Ed’s and to all who make this site as it is!

{Ed001's Note - thank you very much.}

5.) 14 May 2019 23:42:13
Just donated not much but what I could, love this site.

6.) 15 May 2019 10:06:37
Great site which clearly has a huge amount of work put into it by the Eds. Sad to see the sponsorship waning. I will be donating to lend a hand.

Keep up the solid work.

YNWA.

{Ed001's Note - thank you TBRC, I don't think it is the sponsor's fault to be honest. Advertising revenues have been hit badly by the FB/Google monopoly and other agencies have just struggled to compete. One went into receivership so they had clearly tried to carry on as long as they possibly could. While big conglomerates like FB continue to swamp the net, everyone else will suffer.}

7.) 15 May 2019 10:34:44
Amazon will command some of the pie too shortly, however I think it will become more regulated as their overall share increases and regulation will then encourage competition.
It’s sad for the smaller agencies at the moment though as they are currently competing in an unfair marketplace where the big boys have the resources to push the smaller ones to the side (sounds familiar in the context of football too doesn’t it) .

Anyway back to football but fear not, I won’t ask if any clubs are interested in Mignolet.

YNWA.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate.}

8.) 15 May 2019 10:35:13
Happy to donate. Don't know what I'd do without this page and the amazing input from all the Ed's.
Thanks for all the hard work and time you guys put into making it what it is.

{Ed001's Note - thank you very much Kk.}

9.) 15 May 2019 11:21:56
Tried to donate twice last night wouldn't let me, but was just trying on my fone. Will try on my I pad later when I'm home. Great site, cheers eds.

{Ed001's Note - thank you for trying mate.}

10.) 15 May 2019 10:41:28
Will definitely be signing up to this, definitely worth a few quid a month. The site is very well run by people who deserve a lot more credit (and reward) than they get. Well done to all of you!

All the best Eds, keep up the good work.

11.) 15 May 2019 10:22:42
Donated!

Apologies, i can't donate more because i love this site.

Many thanks to all the Eds for your hard work :)

{Ed033's Note - awesome thanks

12.) 15 May 2019 17:10:57
My fiances are in a negative state at the moment but I will donate a few quid in the coming week.

{Ed001's Note - negative? Hard to believe anything about you could be negative!}

13.) 15 May 2019 18:03:36
Got that donation sorted on my I pad. Cheers eds.

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate.}

14.) 15 May 2019 18:42:08
Fiancés Walter? Not doing to negatively with the ladies then 😉.

15.) 15 May 2019 19:10:06
Don’t use the site as much as I used to due to work commitments but this site is worth every penny. Ed’s I’m currently awaiting a new bank card due to online fraudsters so my donation will be with you this weekend. Keep up the good work.

{Ed001's Note - always good to see you about mate.}

16.) 17 May 2019 18:42:24
I love this site, check it out every day.
Great posters and Ed’s with their knowledge.
Thank you for making it so enjoyable
A pleasure to donate.
Keep up the good work 👍🏼.

So what happens if we threw a years worth of cash in last week when ed25 said better a lump sum?
Moneys not a problem for me, just worried about some of the lads with limited cash. don't want to be a prick, woupd have been better to know earlier
Ill still throw in for the next 11 months as you guys are more than worth it
Especially ed002 when he likes a bit of spanking.

2.) 20 May 2019 23:09:26
well you are being a bit of a person, assuming things. I have actually spread out larger donations over more months.
We have monthlys set up from 25p, to one off donations of £60 +.
But carry on spreading a false agenda bud.

3.) 21 May 2019 00:02:39
Ed I don’t think he was meaning to be rude, I think he was just saying that the other day he was told that it would be better to say pay £12 now than £1 a month for a year - and wondering how that worked with the system posted.

4.) 21 May 2019 04:39:43
Donate if you can or don't if you cant. This should be the end of the matter. Free rumour for everyone. Liverpool have decided not to buy Dani Cebellos from some s&* ( team due to him refusing to slap Gareth Bale while he was asleep. Don't need players with that attitude. Well done Mr Edwards. From a very reliable source.

5.) 21 May 2019 07:50:50
Say that again Shanks please?

6.) 21 May 2019 09:29:21
😂 @ Shanks.

Slapping Gareth Bale should be the first criteria when considering new transfer targets.

If it’s a no from the player, then it’s a no from us. Simple!

7.) 21 May 2019 09:16:42
Hi Ed,
Just a couple of suggestions!

1. Can we have the badge next to the username instead of profile pic? In my opinion, that way it will make more sense because as of now it's getting mixed with the profile pic. Also in case of contributors, who don't have profile pics this badge appears to be the profile pic.

I mean in the current scenario, a new visitor on the site will hardly notice the badge thing. Therefore, having the badge on the right of username will certainly catch more eyes and that might tempt a few to get one!

2. Can you make the badge background transparent (. png image) just like Eds profile pics.? That will look more professional and cool in my opinion.

What's your take on this?

Thanks!

{Ed033's Note - Yes, Ed091 is deciding how it's going to go

Would like to thank Liverpool based Arkid Vintage for being the first up on the sponsor grid. More details will be added onto the sponsorship page.
Thanks!

Hi Ed091,

I would also want to know a bit more details about advertising on the site. The footfalls you shared earlier sounded great. Would it be possible to share some details via email or something?

Regards,
Lfcdas.

{Ed033's Note - You can communicate with Ed091 by clicking on the Sponsorships menu tab and then on the Click here to enquire button

2.) 16 May 2019 00:23:17
Many thanks. I too have made a small donation today.

{Ed033's Note - thanks, awesome.

Happy to give you a little bit every month. This site is easily my go to for anything football related and I really appreciate the effort that goes into it from all the eds and posters.

I've had some tough times over the last year or so and it's helped me take my mind off things on so many occasions. I would bet that the same could be said for many others.

Thanks and good luck.

2.) 14 May 2019 18:28:59
Let’s get involved redmen! This site is life.

3.) 14 May 2019 17:39:09
Ed091

Thanks very much for this. Is there a way to set up a rolling subscription to the site or some sort of premium membership? Rather than having to individually donate each time? I for one would be more than happy to have a fixed amount donated to the page each month to say thank you for all the content that you guys put out.

Red Sandman.

{Ed033's Note - Yes, click on the Donate button and you get taken to a Paypal page, which has an option to select, under the amount you want to donate, to say this is a monthly subscription.

4.) 14 May 2019 20:05:12
Done, first thing I read every morning.

5.) 14 May 2019 20:39:22
Klopp, i have had a subscriber come through, in which the email bounces back to me, so i can't find out their username. what is your first name pal?

6.) 14 May 2019 21:58:36
Great idea! Happy to help you help me! 👍.

7.) 15 May 2019 10:27:41
PayPal says I've paid.

Regards Klopp.

{Ed033's Note - Thanks passed onto Ed091
