Fee agreed for the ox.

1.) 30 Aug 2017 18:05:58
Yeah. £40m apparently. What's that about? Modern day football at it's best.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 18:19:57
Maybe given that we may not succeed in our annual raid on Southampton then we've gone for an ex. Please hope there's no more then like Walcott. Bale on the other hand?

3.) 30 Aug 2017 18:21:23
Madness definitely nit worth it in my humble opinion.

4.) 30 Aug 2017 18:22:11
Tbf, it's a bargain compared to £45m for Sigurdsson.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 18:17:26
I don't care if Klopp turns him into a world beater this is wasted money. Could have got him next year for nowt.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 18:17:45
We offered more than Chelsea did?

7.) 30 Aug 2017 18:25:01
Something red, it really isn't mate 🙈.

8.) 30 Aug 2017 18:19:22
Mane 36 mil. Salah 39. Can 9. Hendo 16 (and we though we over paid)

9.) 30 Aug 2017 18:36:22
The ox is a good player . Wenger has mis used him. he can play up top on right wing or central mid of right wing back.
It mean Salah and mane are not over used. it covers are midfield roles. he is basically a young milner. Nothing spectacular but a really good player to have at your club.
He will flourish. 35m for a 24 year old england international. in this current market. put it in perspective drinkwater is about to go for 40m.

10.) 30 Aug 2017 18:50:53
I've always rated AOC and mentioned a few times I'd like to see him at LFC this season, so I'm glad it looks like it's going to happen.
It will be interesting to see all the Ox 'haters' suddenly come out and say how much of a great signing he is.

11.) 30 Aug 2017 18:59:27
Why didn't we just wait until Jan . would have been half the price - thing is Klopp and Conte both see something in him. I'd rather have given Grujic more of a chance.

12.) 30 Aug 2017 19:17:59
Bloody English premium at its best.

13.) 30 Aug 2017 19:57:17
Don't compare to previous years transfer prices guys, this year prices have doubled. Tv money has made things crazy.

14.) 30 Aug 2017 20:46:46
English premium is bull tbh. compare rudiger and Keane. who is better. is vvd English. what about Lemar. or 30m for sahko who we don't even want lol
It's a premier league tv premium.

15.) 31 Aug 2017 01:27:59
Yeah, good signing. Massive show of intent beating chelsea to the signature. I'm proper excited now as depth simply isn't an issue anymore. That cost us last year. Only bad luck with injuries can stop us now imo.

16.) 31 Aug 2017 02:40:11
To be fair I'll take Klopp and Conte's opinion of AOC over most in the world let alone someone at home in their underwear on their computer! Lol welcome lad! YNWa.

17.) 31 Aug 2017 15:38:18
Hasn't there been a tv deal recently🤦🏼‍♂️ Think the market may have changed somewhat top business or we'd go up to Scotland with 500,000 and get a Hansen and a dalglish to sort us out!

Hearing that mane is out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

{Ed025's Note - yes dom, bad news mate..

1.) 10 Oct 2017 17:26:39
Big chance for AOC. Hopefully he can take it. I'd love it if he scored a couple against utd at the weekend. Love it!

2.) 10 Oct 2017 17:59:14
I would put a large bet on Coutinho starting out wide and Ox in the middle. I hope i'm wrong.

{Ed025's Note - i think them positions will be reversed myself dawn..

3.) 10 Oct 2017 18:49:12
Would be nice to see Woodburn or Wilson given a shot but I doubt it'll happen.

Maybe Morneo or TAA could move up into one of the offensive wide positions?

In theory, we should have plenty of options so I really hope someone steps up and tries to make the spot in the team their own. Even if it's AOC or Milner!

4.) 10 Oct 2017 19:40:26
Coutinho salah firmino then hendo can and wiji is the most likely this weekend I would think.

5.) 10 Oct 2017 20:31:25
I agree with ed, the game will be won or lost in the midfield. They are missing pogba and fellini, cout's will be battling with matic for the whole game. AOC out on the wing in mane place. Massive blow, but at least they have injuries too.

6.) 10 Oct 2017 21:40:04
Superred91, I doubt the midfields will matter too much. I suspect MU will sit back and let Liverpool have the ball and counter attack when Liverpool lose possession. I'd be amazed if it was an open game and a battle of the best midfield. Liverpool will dominate possession and shots at goal. But that will be exactly Jose's game plan. Liverpool have the ball and we break and steal a goal or two on the break.

7.) 11 Oct 2017 12:21:50
Is there a reason Wilson isn't getting a chance, he is a stand out player for the U23's, looked very lively in the few cup minutes he got last season too, Woodburn would make a good advanced central midfield player imo, his close control and low centre of gravity gives him a nice combo added with a nice eye for a pass id be having him infront of Wijnaldum.

09 Sep 2017 13:51:59
Que the end of the world posts 🙈.

1.) 09 Sep 2017 13:59:05
Naa, cue the Klopp Out brigade.

2.) 09 Sep 2017 14:01:13
The ox thinks he's back at Arsenal.

3.) 09 Sep 2017 14:03:56
To be fair Klopp put all his egg's in the one basket in relation to VVD and Keita. Fair enough we got one of them but that's no good when these area's need addressing NOW. So Klopp has to take a fair amount of the blame.

{Ed002's Note - Actually Liverpool got neither for this season. Maybe Liverpool are singing out some kind of message?}

4.) 09 Sep 2017 14:25:24
That's what I meant when I said areas that need addressing NOW! What do you mean by the club sending out a message eds?

{Ed002's Note - I am never sure but the fans like to hear it. They are very keen on the club sending out a message.}

5.) 09 Sep 2017 14:30:48
I've said all along Klopp has to take part of the blame. This defence has not improved since BR's days. Are there many world class players available? No, but better than what we have?

In over 35 years of watching Liverpool, it has to be one of the worst CB situation I've seen.

6.) 09 Sep 2017 14:33:05
False hope you mean! There are a majority that still fall for it unfortunately.

7.) 09 Sep 2017 14:32:39
Is it the "message of intent" that people always mention ed2? Haha.

28 Aug 2017 15:38:31
Now for a more important signing. Get big Emre signed up ASAP.

1.) 28 Aug 2017 15:43:29
More important then which signing?

I think it's a bit to early to judge him. Needs a run of games to get his confidence up and if he does make a mistake get behind him more and see how he goes after that.

I agree with Ron here 25. If that had of went in the UTD would have came at us instead of sitting back and this would have created space for our players. I'm not saying we would have went on to win but we would of had more chances.

{Ed025's Note - but it never so you didn,t dom, the world is full of wudda cudda shudda scenario,s mate but in the end liverpool were just not good enough to break down a resolute if exceedingly boring typical jose team..

Its hardly hopeless. Its a genuine question. I'm not saying it wasn't a red or was. If the keeper had came out and mane knocks the ball over him and scores does the ref give a free kick against mane for a high foot?

{Ed002's Note - So did the goalkeepers head get hit by his foot or studs, how close was the goalkeeper - it is absolute nonsense and the standard attempt by a Liverpool fan to clutch at straws and feeble excuses. It was a red card, there was certainly no malice, but he had to be sent off.

But what if he was a minute earlier to the ground today and got that lucky heather from the old gypsy woman - would it still have been a red card?}

If mane got the ball and took it down and scored would the ref called it back for a high foot?

{Ed002's Note - What are you talking about, is that the ball and the head? Or the ball only if the goalkeeper was nowhere near by? Hopeless, absolutely hopeless.}
