Hi eds.

Just wondering if there is any truth to the story of a possibility of us looking at wilfried zaha? Not quite sure how i feel about it if its true?

I’m the same about being unsure. Good player and you can see how he’s helped change Palace this season but it seems a tad random and can’t see him displacing Salah or Mane.
Just seen him talking about how the Utd move wouldn’t influence his decision moving to another ‘big club’ but even ssn haven’t claimed it’s information from ‘their sources’ so I’d guess it’s a non starter.

We don’t need any more rotation options, we’ve proven we have enough depth to rotate the squad already so spend on the best or use the juniors if there’s a crisis.

I'd love it if we got him, not only has he got magic in his toes but how satisfying would it be if we could succeed where Utd failed.

Put him in a club where there is anyone else getting forward and he just gets in the way. He is not a particularly good player.}

He is not a manc and could be a very good player in our system, if he can focus and learn every day. Not my choice though if I was manager. Very good is not enough.

It did make me laugh that there was that story that Zaha was caught by Moyes ‘up to his nuts’ in his daughter. Almost like the story of Rio Ferdinand and Darren Ferguson’s missus.

Colin jackson was fast as **** but I wouldn't like him up front for us. Besides, too many hurdles in the way.

Zaha is Tony Daley from 90's Villa regenerated - incredibly quick, not much beyond that bar the very isolated flash of brilliance.

Yeah exactly like tony Daley, though I don’t remember him causing havoc in opposition Halves and being a massive catalyst in their drive to stay up. I’m not staying he’s right for out club but he’s made a huge contribution to palaces turn around.

Someone once said about him that "nobody knew what he would do with the ball next, including himself" - a very true statement!
He was actually capped by England at his best, think I remember him playing in Euro '92 if not mistaken, but he was god awful 99% of the time.
