Hey eds quick question if use have the time. according to a couple of sources were going to bid for Wilfred zaha have you guys heard anything? And do use thing he is good enough for a top 4 side?

A Jan window consisting of us buying A LB and an attacker would be nice.
Also are we one of the clubs keeping tabs of kylian Mbappe?
{Ed002's Note - Previously of interest to Manchester United and Spurs, Roma, West Brom and Manchester City enquired after Schalke's Sead Kolasinac in the summer but the enquiries went nowhere. Wolfsburg, Chelsea and Liverpool also had watched toward the end of last season. West Ham and RBL have had him watched this season. Wolfsburg remain unclear on the future of Ricardo Rodriguez still and may turn again to the player if Schalke cannot agree and extension.
Real Madrid have spoken with Monaco regarding Kylian Mbappé about an agreement to possibly recruit him in once their ban is over. A number of clubs have been watching him including Barcelona, Porto, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Bayer Leverkusen, Rennes, Marseille and PSG, but next year might be a better time for a move. Arsenal are talking to Monaco about options for another player on their youngsters list and Porto might yet push but one would expect both sides to struggle to fund a move, whether they have the money or not. Manchester City were rebuffed in August with a significant offer. The sort of figures that one side were quoted would remove most clubs who have looked at him from bidding - including Marseille, Porto, Liverpool, Renne, Bayer Leverkusen and, I suspect, Arsenal.}

Thanks a lot for the reply Ed. I was actually hoping these two would be more in our affordable bracket especially given their contracts. Anyway there must be plenty others we can look at just as good 😆.

Yup Ed that's why I felt he was more in the context what we would look at as value for money.
With Mbappe too there were rumours he wants out of Monaco and has just 2 yrs remaining on his contract so thought he would be available near the 20-25M mark at a stretch.
Anyway just want us to get a good LB and a quality attacker in the Jan window if possible. With Sakho Illori and markovic leaving to ressurect their careers in some other good teams hopefully.
{Ed002's Note - I think you have been misled rather. Mbappe signed the longet contract he could for a 17 year old and it runs until 2019. Liverpool are not in a position to pay the asking price for him - and the asking price was there to deter Real Madrid.}

Hey ed 001. Just heard from a mate that we are interested in taking Virgil van dyke from Southampton in January. is there any intrest or is he having me on?

With sakho going . We have 4 CB Matip lovren klavan Gomez . That means one of them have to go so I just think he's pulling your leg.

I personally, don't think he's good enough. Looks overweight and lacks pace. He looks the part but nothing more, IMO.

Would be an excellent partner for Matip, with sakho gone, Gomez still inexperienced and coming back from a serious injury and Lovren being really poor. Van dijk would be a fantastic signing although I highly doubt the saints will do business in January unless they have a replacement lined up.

Ed1 If I may ask, I think Lovren will be a temporary player for us, Sakho on his way out and Klaven is a backup player at best (in my opinion) so would you expect us to buy a new CB or give young Gomez a try?
I'd love to see Gomez and Matip partner up, I feel they can be a great partership, of course time will tell, maybe it's a bit too early for him?

Gomez lacks experience so buy another cb makes no sense at all. how will he get experience.
Defence is leaking goals anyway so throw him in lol.

According to Paul Joyce this morning we are going to rival psg for draxler. don't no how reliable he is but thought I would share.
