Fee has been agreed, personal terms have been agreed, medical now all that is pending so yes pretty much can be legit.

2.) 18 Jul 2018 19:26:54
If he’s wearing Brazil gear it’s probably him returning from the World Cup.

3.) 18 Jul 2018 19:30:32

Question for Ed001 if you are about mate and not too busy with the family over etc. I just had a quick look around on the other clubs pages and generally the banter makes interesting reading. As expected, not many fans want us to win the league due to the potential gloating but want Citeh to win as they don’t know many Citeh fans😂. So I popped over to their page and you are the most regular poster with your “review of the day”. Question is, why do you think that page is nigh on redundant especially compared to the other well visited pages of supposedly lesser clubs?
Be very interested to hear your opinion.
Wishing everyone a happy and successful New Year.

Cornishmendoitdrekly

{Ed001's Note - they were well served with a good website already and their fanbase is just not that large to require lots of them. Despite all the money spent, they are not exactly attracting a brand new influx of fans other than fair weather fans. For some reason they are just not getting engagement with hardcore fans.}

1.) 31 Dec 2018 10:33:28
New fans isn’t something they will get overnight, they had there set of fans that have followed throughout but have only really been a big club for ten years. It can take generations for clubs to increase their fan base as the support generally passes down.

Football isn't a sport where you switch allegiances but they will be increasing their fan base with young kids, it just won’t be seen on sites like this for a few years yet.

2.) 31 Dec 2018 10:33:50
I saw on Twitter (debatable then I know) that the game on Thursday wasn’t sold out yet, if you can’t even sell out the biggest home game of the season then what does that tell you.

3.) 31 Dec 2018 11:27:26
Eds is it true they want to make the stadium bigger?
If so Why? I'd rather have Anfield 15,000 fans all on top of the players creating an atmosphere, than an half empty ground.

{Ed002's Note - The club has outline planning permission to increase capacity to 60k. They may devcide to do it or may not due to the cost.}

4.) 31 Dec 2018 11:42:06
A quick search on their website shows that most of their remaining games are on general sale, ours is restricted to fans who have attended a game there before.

As I said above they don’t have a huge fan base, but it will get bigger over time.

5.) 31 Dec 2018 11:10:14
Thanks for your reply Ed. My old man is a Citeh fan and is in his early seventies but was never really vocal about it until the last few years- you can imagine the banter now though.

{Ed001's Note - amazing how many became vocal only after they were successful. I discovered I worked with one for a few years but just never even knew he liked footie!}

Good luck to all of the Liverpool supporters who are anxiously waiting for their GCSE results this morning. Thoughts are with the parents as well as it is equally stressful and I can very much remember this time last year with my eldest.

1.) 23 Aug 2018 11:14:50
What about the staff too!

2.) 23 Aug 2018 11:32:56
They are all going to fail judging by how many “any update on the Fekir situation” posts there was this summer, onviously all the kids were on here annoying the Ed’s rather than revising lol.

3.) 23 Aug 2018 13:17:47
Just remember young guns no matter how you did, prison is full of people with decent exam results and so are graveyards, while about a third of the Forbes billionaire list (and about 70% of those who made their money in 'creative' industries) either got poor results or never even took exams. They are a stage in your journey and not a destination, so if you got what you wanted be prepared to work hard at the next step now and if you didnt, prepare to double down on your work to get yourself back on your track.

4.) 23 Aug 2018 13:43:21
I think you’ll find its mostly grown men that post annoying regurgetated rubbish on sites like this Mikey, most younger people have far better internet decorum than their elders, you need only check my mums facebook for evidence of this😂.

Apparently Bobby Duncan has signed. SG’s cousin who spent 6 years at Man City and is supposed to be a good prospect.
Have you seen much of him Ed’s?

Cornishmendoitdrekly

{Ed001's Note - no and he signed ages ago.}

1.) 04 Aug 2018 17:07:36
Godddd do you not even read every post on this page.

2.) 04 Aug 2018 17:54:05
Yeah he signed at the beginning of summer. His gs record is ridiculous. He scored like 60 goals in his last full season. Out of brewster, Solanke and Duncan we have to have a winner.

Ed001 if you are about, quick question for you if you don’t mind. I have been really looking to seeing Keita make a real difference for us but since Alisson has joined I must admit that I think his influence may actually make a bigger difference. Really impressed with the way he is settling in so far and can’t wait for him to launch his LFC career.
Who do you think/ hope will the best addition this window.

Cornishmendoitdrekly

{Ed001's Note - Alisson for me. I think the goalkeeper is the most important part of the team, the whole team play is based on what the keeper can do.}

1.) 01 Aug 2018 19:49:32
Have to agree, we looked ten times better with karius and vvd, when we lost it was only the odd goal. Our defence was good at the end of the season.
Alissons sweeper ability will improve us again, and having a keeper the defence can trust will even more. Keita will help break down those stubborn defences, give us more energy in the middle, but we let in silly goals more than we failed to score.

2.) 01 Aug 2018 19:52:34
A quality keeper can earn an extra 10 points over the course of the season.

Really looking to seeing Keita play though!

3.) 01 Aug 2018 20:15:15
If I had to pick one it would be Allison after the troubles we’ve had at keeper for many years now. Having said that, I think Keita is going to be awesome and could well be the difference between being challengers to winning something.

{Ed025's Note - two good players there SG, the thing is that they have not played in the EPL before mate so bigging them up before we have seen them perform could be a bit premature, just saying like..

4.) 01 Aug 2018 20:53:10
And of course you were never premature Ed025😁.

{Ed025's Note - only when i think of carol kirkwood barry..

5.) 01 Aug 2018 21:00:08
Fair enough mate - maybe getting a bit excited but you have to admit he has something about him. Every top side needs a driving force in midfield IMO and I’ll pick Keita to deliver that impact over Gini, Lallana, and even Milner. He looks like a born winner to me.

{Ed025's Note - im a big fan SG but i would like to see more of him before i start lauding him up too much mate..

6.) 01 Aug 2018 21:06:00
Imo Alisson was the most needed addition, Keita being the most exciting. I'm not saying any of the others aren't exciting either because they are but I've watched Keita for 2 years and the lad is special but certainly the most important signing of this window is Alisson, we've needed somebody of that quality in goal for bloody years, finally we've got it.

7.) 01 Aug 2018 21:10:40
They're both massive signings and are both exciting.

8.) 01 Aug 2018 21:22:44
I thought the whole point of the transfer window was to get irrationally excited about how the shiny new signings are going to win you the treble. am I missing something Ed ;)

{Ed025's Note - im only concerned for the muscles in your right hand and your future eyesight SG.. :)

9.) 02 Aug 2018 05:12:07
I’m with you for both players ed025. I think Keita is going to shock us this season so long as he keeps a cool head.

Alisson though. I’m glad we made the signing, but I’d be lying if I said he didn’t worry me. I’ve admittedly not seen a lot of him but every time I have it was nothing extraordinary. I’m hoping with all I’ve got that I was just being silly, as I think it’s the one piece that’ll take us to the title.

{Ed025's Note - they very well could do Tj, but sometimes it can take players a while to settle in or sometimes just dont fit mate, i just hope the supporters dont get on their case if they dont come flying out of the blocks..

29 Jul 2018 20:37:14
Sorry if it is a bit late, especially considering the time difference, but just wanted to join in with the b’day wishes Ed001. Are you going to let us in on what you wished for when you blew those candles out?
Cheers and all the best
Gary.

Cornishmendoitdrekly

{Ed001's Note - if I tell you it won't come true. Thank you though Cornish.}

Not sure if you have been asked this before Ed001 and apologies if you have. What would your Dream Team be from the Premier League era only? I wouldn't know where to start but it would be a welcome distraction from the knot in my stomach today.

Cornishmendoitdrekly

{Ed001's Note - from the Prem era only? I have absolutely no idea. Never really thought about it. The only thing I can be sure of is that Rob Jones and Dennis Bergkamp would be in it. Probably Henry as well. Would have to have Vieira and Kante in midfield, no need for 3 then! Peter Schmeichel in goal and Adams in defence.}

He was still on the team page this morning but has subsequently been removed now. Can't see any statement anywhere though. Slightly peculiar circumstances but wish him all the best for the future.
