I'm quite superstitious and this whole resurgence thing is giving me a sense of dejavu.

I would be totally fine with it, but WHY are 2 of our last 3 games against Chelsea, then Crystal Palace, in the same freaking order as last season.

I'm going to have a heart failure before this season ends.

Maybe chelsea may have the league wrapped up by then and I think palace will be safe.

Chelsea knew they were going to finish 3rd and Palace were already safe last time. No premier league team steps out with the intention of losing. That methodology of 'they won't care about winning' has proved itself wrong on numerous occasions.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like the idea of signing Ochoa. Mignolet has many flaws, but shot-stopping is not one of them, his ability to produce WC saves is immense and has on more than one occasion saved our asses, he is just error prone and not commanding in his area. I don't think Ochoa is any different, yeah he's an excellent shot-stopper as well, but I really don't believe he's all that much better than Mignolet, especially when his contract ran out at his former club in the summer and as he currently sits on the bench at his new club.

I have MotD fever. Sign up James Rodriguez, that kid is going to be something special, what a performance!

You know there's a lot of word going around such as "Oh, we're not even aiming for the top, we're top 4 contenders" and talk similar to that amongst us Liverpool fans. I'm beginning to think, especially after today's results, that that race is much closer than people think it is. The title race itself is going to be a race to the top 4. Say we win our game against Spurs tomorrow, the top 4 is literally separated by 4 points.

Then say we win against Cardiff the week after, and Arsenal draw or even slip up against Chelsea then Manchester City and Everton both come away with wins.

If the following scenarios played out, the top 4 would literally be separated by 2 points, 1 game away from halfway through the season and you would have Spurs and Newcastle not very far behind just trailing.

Sure, I've made up the scenarios, but I think when people really mention the title race this season, sure our target is top 4, but with the amount of competition this season for those top 4 places, and the smallest gap right there at the top, I truly believe the race for the top 4 is, at the same time, a race for the title.

Anyone else think Allen was fantastic when Gerrard came off? That second half team was absolutely perfect. Henderson bombing up and down the pitch like it's the opening 10 minutes of the game, Lucas sitting in the holding role just in front of the defense and Allen freeing up just in front of him. I thought it was a great finish to the game, and if Gerrard is injured (let's hope not) I hope to see that kind of formation against the Spuds. Great win today! YNWA!

If he wants to leave then let him leave. We'll get a good price for him and we have Ibe who'll probably end up even better and less spoiled than Sterling is. He'll rot on the bench if he goes to either Madrid or Barca.
