Do you know if RM have bid for LS yet Ed2? Surely they're running out of time as are we to get a replacement?! Sorry for all the questions. Thanks. {Ed002's Note - Read the posts. I cannot keep answering the same question over and over.}

Have you heard of a bid for Skrtel yet Ed? Thanks {Ed002's Note - Napoli have three possible CB targets and I suspect after their bid for Skrtel was originally rejected they will seek a loan in the first instance. This will drag on throughout the day.}

I was just wondering if you'd heard anything about:
- A deal for Ilori being agreed,
- An enquiry from us for Moses.
- An offer for Yarmalenko (I'm guessing there's still no interest like you last said).
- A deal for Shay Given/enquiry etc.
- Any new news on Sakho (maybe a fresh enquiry or talks)?

Thanks {Ed002's Note - I was fine for a couple of days Burnsy, thanks. (1) Liverpool are continuing to screw around with the money for Ilori. There is interest from elsewhere so it is now or never. (2) Hannover 96, Everton and Lille previously showed an interest. (3) I understand (as of last night) that there has been no actual offer made but Yarmolenko from Liverpool at this time. Gulordava has said that there had been no bid since one of €20M from Milan was rejected in June. He has suggested Juventus were also interested at that time. Now he says he expects bids from Napoli, Arsenal and Liverpool. He has tried this week to interest Chelsea, PSG and Milan - and having probably lost out on Eriksen, Milan has indeed shown some interest. (4) I know nothing of the situation with Given but am aware from reading posts that there seems to be interest. (5) Liverpool has had a low offer rejected. Perhaps two. Milan remain keen to take him on loan, but that won't happen unless he signs a new deal at PSG.}

Hi Eds (and specifically Ed002),
Following on the same kind of topic from Big Al (I think it was earlier) I was wondeing if you and the fans on here could give me a bit of advice.
I'm thinking of a gap year - but information online tends to be to sell you deals rather than picking the best option. Is a gap year a sensible idea? And where's best? I'm thinking of travelling through Europe before setting up in Eastern Europe to work.
I'm only posting here as I couldn't find any other relevant site where I could ask the Eds.
As always thanks to you all Eds - I know how much work you put in. How your all keeping well!

{Ed002's Note - Hi Burnsy. I am sure you can get better advice from others rather than me. The concept of "gap years" did not really exist when I was at that age. I went right from school to the University of California Berkeley where I did a four year course. I left with no intention of further education at the time but subsequently (a couple of years later) was "sponsored" to move to London for work and a Masters - but I worked in the intervening years. Neither of my daughters took a gap year but many of their friends did - I recall a couple not returning to England afterwards. I would guess it is down to the individual, and where you wish to travel to. As for Eastern Europe, I don't know it well and the rules for working and setting up businesses will vary country-by-country. The countries I have been to vary considerably and I have not noticed any that I would with to settle in for any length of time. You will need to do some research but I am sure others here can help.}

Hi all and Eds,
Everybody talking about signing this player and that player. I personally think the two best signings that we can make are tying Rodgers down to a new deal and keeping LS for another season. We will only improve with another year of BRs coaching and more experience.
It doesn't matter who we sign this summer, unless we keep those two.
Also, I've got the feeling we'll pip City on the last day. But I'm slightly deluded usually. (No snide comments Ed001 ;) )

Hi all and Eds
I've not posted in a very very long time (long term posters may remember me). I hope you Ed02 are keeping well, along with 01 and all the others.
I'm just posting because people are ripping into the team tonight and that's inexcusable.
Yes the league has gone. Yes we threw the game away.
But 8 months ago people laughed when we said we'd get top 4. Gerrard needed replacing, Allen/Hendo were "rubbish" (not my views) etc etc.
Yet look at where we are. We have UCL to enjoy next year. The league is decided by 38 games, not 11 bad minutes.
It's fine.
We'll be back even stronger next year.
If you can't support us when we win, then don't both when we draw or lose.

Just a little thanks to Ed002 for answering all my questions today! A relief to survive I imagine (the window - not my questions, although the latter must be hard enough).
