Any truth in these Alonso rumours eds

Ed1, if you're saying you expect the deal to go through then we all know it is virtually a done deal, & don't doubt it.
However, is there any substance to The Mirror's story - would Benteke prefer/ have preferred to move to a CL club?
Very disappointing if so, but I suppose players are not about loyalty to their club these days. Shame there aren't more fans of the club (like Lambert) playing the game.

Ed2, apologies, have revisited search engine and not found a clear answer?
From what I have read through the search engine it sounds like his agent is always looking for a move for the player, to progressively bigger and bigger clubs? Does this answer my question? Worrying if so, but not entirely surprised.
Would you be able to post the link/rumour number to the particular thread you allude to?

It just seems like yet another Liverpool fan trying to scaremonger the other fans - he has been absolutely trashed by the Liverpool fans here already - and I feel very sorry for him. One wonders if he will arrive to the daubed abuse on the stadium, or the Benteke out Facebook pages.
I have no idea what the Daily Mirror has said but have explained that the deal is expected to go through later this week.

Love the site and will continue to use it but I am disappointed.

Been reading for a while but didn't really know much about it just thought the eds used media and stuff to source info but seems I was wrong. Still trying to get used to things tho like what does RVP stand for when somebody asks a question the eds say RVP or RVT it something like that anyway.

What's this unexpected departure all about I have tried the search option but all I can see are people speculating what was meant not thes tusk comment. Is it somebody leaving us or leaving to come to us?

It was something ED2 said a couple of times over the last few weeks. just that there could be a small possibility of someone unexpectedly leaving ( though I would assume it was dependent on incomings) since then just about every player in the current squad and youth squad has been named as the likely suspect including the likes of Firmino lol.

I've heard that if Inter sign Imbula they will definitely let Kovacic come to us. Any truth in this eds. if this isn't true are there any recent developments you guys know of.

Hi eds really good site been reading for a while but never posted.
Not having ago here by the way just don't understand how one minute it was just a case of it being finalised pretty, much done deal, then to not agreed. In the first post on this thread you mention that LFC after making a joke €10M bid came back with an offer closer to the asking price but no final agreement, this was after u said the fee and what not had been agreed and then say after that that inter, whilst agreeing a fee with Liverpool were still looking for another bidder.
Just seems that maybe u jumped the gun and I've always found this site to be very reliable and just wondering as u seem very clued up how u could of gone from one end to the spectrum to the other.

I found all these comments very interesting as I have a 2 year old Red obviously lol and he does love the ball always asks where's ball and when I'm watching football he shouts football at the TV so he's very attuned with it right now so I'm hoping he will get to love it as I do. So best think to do is to keep playing footy with him for now is it because he's so young?
He does tend to pick it up a lot obviously he's still really young but he loves kicking it around. He kind of kicks it at me though not too me lol
Any advice would be much appreciated.
