Just donated, I don't post much but check the site out anytime I can ( which drives my wife to despair ) . This is the best source of info on the web, the job all the eds do on this site is wonderful, so although I could only give a little I hope it helps . Thank you very much ed001 hope it all works out, ynwa.

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate I am so heartened by the response I dont know what to say.}

Absolute pleasure, shows how people can come together in a time of need, it warms the cockles of my soul . Big shout out to Benny, salute you sir . ynwa.

{Ed001's Note - well said, Benny is a good lad, though he usually hides it well!}

That was a great listen Benny and ed001, very interesting and funny , you both seemed to have good rapport . Any chance we could get Waro and Ron involved , I'd pay to listen to that debate ha ha

Aristotles Stunt Double

{Ed001's Note - now that would be fun.....}

1.) 15 Aug 2015 22:45:55
Thanks mate. I've done a few audio things before, but talking about the thing I love, with some harsh critics on this site I was to say the least, browning my pants!
And thank you to everyone's positive reinforcement, the pod cast will only get stronger and better. Was a pleasure listening to ed and his stories, thank god I was there to keep it moving else it could have been a three hour podcast! We get on great and Could talk for hours about the club. Big things planned :)

2.) 16 Aug 2015 00:16:42
Hats off Benny and Ed01. Great job, and a fantastic addition to the site.

3.) 16 Aug 2015 02:06:00
Just want to say benny your voice is sublime would defo listen to you on the radio.

4.) 16 Aug 2015 02:08:25
Me and Waro? It would just end up as a big make out session there's so much man-love.

5.) 16 Aug 2015 02:13:36
Had a quick listen to beginning, bit shocked.

Benny sounds far too young and Ed001 sounds VERY familiar LoL.

{Ed001's Note - sorry dad, probably should have warned you.....}

6.) 16 Aug 2015 02:58:00
Always agree with you Ron, but good arl Waro add some spice to these posts.

Such a contrasting opinion between you both but that's what makes a perfect couple.

7.) 16 Aug 2015 07:34:56
Was listening to the podcast and for a minute i thought it was ed001 and some girl. Benny really has a soft voice. Even I have a harsher voice than him

{Ed001's Note - ouch.}

8.) 16 Aug 2015 08:00:18
Thats funny! because i'm known as someone with a mono-tonal, bass voice. Which obviously no one wants to hear. Maybe ill go back to my jabba the hut voice if you feel i was to high lad.

9.) 16 Aug 2015 08:55:41
Ed001: you're grounded!

{Ed001's Note - =o(

10.) 16 Aug 2015 08:59:32
Iwas just kidding Benny. Don't take me seriously. Thing is over calls a lot of our voices get altered to unimaginable extent

{Ed001's Note - he is just grumpy because he was aiming to sound sexy....}

11.) 16 Aug 2015 10:04:47
getting more users in would make it more like a community here, which i think would be lovely. however only 2 max per podcast (including benny and ed001) and it would work out fine.

maybe in the future ey ed001. get it stabilised a standard format first before any of that though, as in the length, and maybe frequency of podcast i guess? before going ahead with other stuff.

{Ed001's Note - yes sir! ;o)

As we are being linked with people such as Ings and Austin, what are people's thoughts on Roades of Blackburn ? Would he be able to make the step up, to me he's as good if not better than the two players mentioned . Not saying we should sign him tho just interested in your thoughts, and ed001 if available .

Aristotles Stunt Double

{Ed001's Note - personally I wouldn't take any of the three of them at Liverpool, none are good enough. I think they are all bottom end Prem/top end Championship level forwards, midtable obscurity at best. I fail to see the point in bringing in any of them when we already have Sinclair at the club who is of a similar level but the potential to go far higher.}

1.) 16 May 2015 13:17:15
Thanks for reply ed , I would also trust in youth as I've been very impressed with what I've seen , I've always seen Roades as a clinical finisher who gets into good positions and have been surprised he played at a higher level , why is that fo you think ?

{Ed001's Note - Rhodes is ok, he is a good finisher, his movement can be good at times, but there is something missing for me. Technically he just doesn't seem to have the touch or the movement to make space as he lacks a bit of pace at the top level. He is one of those that is just a little lacking in quality to go much further.}

2.) 16 May 2015 13:29:45
Would there be any player from the lower leagues ( of England ) you would bring in ? Thank you for your time , always impressed with your knowledge

{Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware of.}

3.) 16 May 2015 13:35:32
Rhodes is as pacey as lambert to be fair

{Ed001's Note - but Lambert is not a penalty box sniffer, which requires a bit of pace to get to the ball or to create a split second of space to hit a shot.}

4.) 16 May 2015 13:47:31
All are a waste of time and money, but since that's what we do every transfer window no doubt we will end up with one if not all 3 haha

5.) 16 May 2015 15:05:31
I think Origi coming in and being given a chance will be better than going out and buying someone like Ings or Rhodes. Would also rather see Yesil and Sinclair being given the opportunity to step up and prove themselves.

6.) 17 May 2015 04:15:22
Exactly, IM! If Ings, Austin and Rhodes are what we are left with, might as well play Yesil, Origi and Sinclair

Hi guys and eds, long time reader first time poster , one for ed001 , If Rodgers keeps his job what in your opinion would be the most important decision he has to make regarding the squad over the summer ? Thanks , great site by the way , first port of call in a morning

Aristotles Stunt Double

{Ed001's Note - has to be which of the youth team deserve a shot. That is the most important thing for the club's long term future. We need to start feeding them in.}

1.) 14 May 2015 17:13:58
You mean like sterling Sinclair kelly rossiter Williams texiera smith ward ibe wisdom brannigan jones suso yesil flanno and possibly ojo but not 100% on him, who have all been on the bench or played minutes for the first team in the last 3 years although a few got their debuts earlier all of them have played with atleast the u21s and some u18s downwards. Add to those the young players we've bought can coutinho sturridge borini Alberto markovic ilori sakho. Add to that experienced pros Gerrard skrtel agger Enrique Johnson lucas. A matchday squad consists of what 18 players? Where do all these extras that we haven't currently been using fit in?

2.) 14 May 2015 17:05:01
I agree ed , we have some exiting youth players , they need to be given the chance to show what they can do , which in turn would save money for bigger priorities in the squad . Are you settled now after your move ed ?

{Ed001's Note - not really mate but hopefully get there soon.}

3.) 14 May 2015 19:10:23
Puting them on the bench or having them play 5 minutes then never seen again is NOT a strategy for youth development. They have to be given a fair chance over the course of a season to see what they can do.

4.) 14 May 2015 20:16:49
When did Yesil sit on the bench or Start for the 1st team Ice?

5.) 14 May 2015 21:49:14
Europa league a few years ago? Maybe I'm confusing him with Morgan but you get the point

6.) 15 May 2015 07:43:51
I agree, we have a lot of 'squad players' that we can hopefully move on to give others like Rossiter, Branagan, Lloyd Jones, Sinclair etc. who are getting into the 18-20yr old range and deserve runs out next season in cup games and weaker oppo when we're 2 or 3 up.

7.) 15 May 2015 11:02:25
I get your point mate.
I would rather we promoted Yesil to the first team squad than buy Danny Ings.
Studge, Origi, Yesil/Sinclair and a 1st team regular quality striker would do it for me.

8.) 15 May 2015 16:43:48
@song of ice, of the first 15 players you listed (these are the types of players the OP asked about) only 4 have been given any sort of chance. Flanagan due to an injury crisis. Ibe when BR wasn't allowed sign someone in Jan. Williams & Rossiter have both received a little game time but very little at that.

The other 9 you've listed, two have been sold and then you are left with 7 who haven't been anywhere near getting a chance.

Harry our very own David Fairclough was great example of an impact player , look him up to see how a player such as him is in my opinion vital in any successful club .

Could he be learning Benny ? I'm sure he knows it's last chance saloon, has someone had a long chat with him because to be fair I can't remember seeing him at other matches doing his homework ( not that that's proof of anything ) .I really hope so because it can only benefit us in the long run .

Aristotles Stunt Double

{Ed001's Note - O'Driscoll is old school and likes to watch future opponents when possible, while Rodgers preferred to use analysts.}
