Sky sportington "reporting", ahem, that spurs aren't in for moreno.

Two sensible signings so far, moreno lallana and maybe tadic/Kono and I'd be wanting to make sweeeeeeet loving to the transfer committee

I said enough

Allseeingaaiiii

{Ed002's Note - The full release clause for Spanish clubs is being asked by Sevilla for Moreno and that has so far put off interest from a number of clubs including Real Madrid and Spurs who had tried a cash plus player offer. Manchester United, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Porto have had him looked at. Chelsea had a price agreed but circumstances were such that at the last stepped away from the deal. Liverpool offered cash plus Suso but the player is not wanted by Sevilla, a second cash offer fell short of the club's valuation.

Southampton are of the opinion that Liverpool are still interested in Lallana but are in no rush to discuss anything whilst no acceptable offer has been made.

Whilst the agent of Tadic says there was rekindled interest in Tadic there has been no approach to Twente by Liverpool but two other clubs are in discussions over a deal.

Konoplyanka remains of interest to others but Dnipro has not heard anything from Liverpool since January.}

1.) Do you no if we may come back in for him at his clubs valuation Ed? Or do we perhaps still have interest in the likes of Bertrand as an alternative?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea if Liverpool are prepared to pay what is being asked.}

2.) You can understand why Liverpool, s not to eager to try and sign him again, after the way they refused to sell at the last minute, despite an aggrement being made, shame he looks a really good player

3.) 06 Jun 2014 07:26:21
Much obliged for the reply Ed002, sets it all straight, although to be fair I always RTFP!

See the mirror are reporting we've agreed Moreno deal this morning, maybe the prospect of my sweet loving helped, maybe not!

Take it easy

{Ed002's Note - It seems to be there or thereabouts at the moment.}

Reported that Ox turned down £180k weekly from both Arsenal AND Chelsea to sign for Liverpool. for £125k. the team he supported as a boy.

Added to that Conte, Wenger and Klopp wanted the lad.

Sometimes other qualities factor into the creation of a team, not just FIFA stats.

I'll just leave that there.

Allseeingaaiiii

1.) 30 Aug 2017 20:33:15
I don't play video games. I played football and can use my eyes to evaluate a player. Ox is poor and is not better than what we have and all you have to do is check the Sun game to see for yourself. Now, Klopp wants him as a squad filler and that is fine by me. He's our player now and despite what I think of his ability or lack thereof, I will support him as he is one of ours now.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 20:41:54
How many players have truly developed in the recent year of wenger? Maybe his coaching style didn't suit him - hopefully klopps style will!

3.) 30 Aug 2017 20:51:05
We can only hope, Firmane.

4.) 30 Aug 2017 20:52:14
I think the tightness of the arsenal shirt has a big part to play in their players performances, poor guys are barely able to breathe in those things. Look at OX's pics from last weekend on sky he is showing some serious nipples probably very self conscious about those too.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 21:10:20
I think the way a team plays can have a massive impact on the impact of a particular players abilities. i. e. We play fast direct, counter press footy with an emphasis on speed so salah is very well suited to our game whereas he likely wouldn't be as effective in other teams, like we saw with Chelsea. Look how effective cuadrado is for Juventus when he couldn't do a thing for Chelsea, the list goes on. The ox may not be world class, but he has scary pace and directness that will suit our game far more than Arsenals. He wanted to come to us rather than the champions so give the lad a chance.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 21:04:45
Very valid point, Waqas. The tight shirts constricting breathing and blood flow to the brain. Just staying upright on the pitch at Anfield, was about all the poor guys could do.

7.) 30 Aug 2017 22:19:29
I believe the tight shirts were to help stop a lot of the shirt pulling. It's actually a really good idea, and Liverpool should get them too!

I. AM. TOTALLY not fooking around here but I proper just seen Ken Aguero having a sausage and egg bap in Linda's cafe on Walton Breck Road. Linda asked if he'd like brown sauce and he smiled back saying he only wanted RED. make of it what you will

Happy New Year Reds n Eds.

Allseeingaaiiii

1.) 01 Jan 2017 11:25:10
Sausage and Egg with red sauce? No thanks mate, don't want blasphemers at our great club.

2.) 01 Jan 2017 11:37:34

Sorry to say, and yep I'm not a "regular" poster, and as difficult as it is but I'm gibbing this site. Been on for many years and its sad to see, even with all the effort and commitment from the eds, that it's not what it was. To much disproportionate negativity

All the best to the eds and constructive reds

Peace out

Hi mate did you get to New Zealand and if so how's it going?

2.) You may not be a regular, but you are one of the posters who have been using this site for a long time.

3.) 'No buts, it's got to be Buddah!'

4.) Shame that.

30 Aug 2014 10:41:54
This isn't a conscious attempt to get a mauling off the eds but Agger for £3m

Obviously I'm not privy to the factors that make up that value but Agger. . £3m. . my head hurts

Allseeingaaiiii

1.) Who are these eds that you speak of? Are they a pack of pitbulls?

2.) 30 Aug 2014 11:10:44
I don't wanna know the price. All I want from some one here or the Eds, Is he Forced out?

{Ed002's Note - Done to death - the club want to move him on and he wants to leave.}

3.) The reason he's going to Brondby - it's his decision as he doesn't feel he's up to it in the premier or la liga because of his injury record and the physical element of a more competitive league and Brondby can only afford a few million.The club wanted to sell him for a lot more ie Barca etc.Fenway aren't happy as they felt they could have got more.

4.) I said take the money when the big money offer came in last year and got mauled for it.
I wish him all the best.

5.) It looks to me the club have let Agger go back to Brondby for £3 million as a thank you for his loyalty and love for our club, we all know his history with injury but they were suffered playing for Liverpool, and money isn't the be all and end all.

Thanks fellas, made up ha ha.

Historically I usually perform something akin to the haka most Saturday nights, combination of alkyfrol and seizures.

Jamesy mate, I work in mental health and psychology. Started with my first gf and pretty much dedicated my life to the subject.barring Mrs aaiiii of course

Thanks again fellas, haven't let the family know yet, a bloke has to prioritise ;-)

8.) Welcome mate, you will love it. You will find however that there are a lot of fickle United supporters in NZ. Also getting up at 2am to watch the game can be difficult.

9.) 11 Aug 2014 14:03:46
ROBBIE is that YOU!! I currently live in bolton, sadly a bit to close to Manchester so I'm used to the banter with the manc lads. As for getting up at 2am for the match, that's a great time! Few hours in the pub first! Happy days

Thanks for the welcomes, good old global family lol

10.) On the plus side to early starts you have access to every premier league game on TV at no extra cost than a normal sky / foxtel subscription ( well you do in oz and I assume nz is the same)

11.) Allseeingaaiiii
I have family in Auckland where there is a relatively large expat community
Lots of Reds (and blues)
I can put you in touch with fellow reds and local football clubs as well as the best places to watch Liverpool games
Maybe if the eds give you my email address, contact me and I'll sort you out

{Ed033's Note - Allseeingaaiiii, if you want ARROW's email address please use the contact form.

12.) 11 Aug 2014 18:13:23

{Ed002's Note - I know this guy who lives on the Isle of Wight and refers to that as the South Island.}

Thanks Macca!

That would be some outlay cash-wise, what WILL the "FSG out" brigade make of it all?

Who will be the first poster to rip into a signing?

Where will Ken Augerio be spotted next?

And will Harry have a new name by then?

*happy sigh*. well, let's all "believe".

Ed 2 I'm feeling it, sadly the trend with preconditioning projection of peoples perceived "failings" with what they regard as a successful life in comparison to unachievable media endorsed goals/icons seem to of manifested in an inherent disenchantment with anti-hero sentiment whereas Joe bloggs no longer endorses the optimism previously seen but chooses to maladapitively disempower through populous opinion in a transparent attempt to reason with own self doubt through highlighting the humanistic limitations of potential new signings.

Superman will not sign.

Accept this is the way

Nobody said about winning nothing Harry lad, more a attention/ recognition to the progress and associated enjoyment with that, and rightly attributing that to Klopp building success.

Folk being all "stompy feet" and only interpreting success on the immediate (or lack of immediate) boil my p*ss Harry.

Liverpool are showing better tactical fluidity to defend (man city) but I'd rather spend the afternoon repeatedly punching my own john thomas than see Liverpool FC park the bus for half a season.

Successful is such a subjective term Puzzled Red. In the traditional sense, quantified by cups, maybe so. but Klopp has successfully brought a brand of footie back to Anfield that has not been seen, in my humble, since Evans. He has been successful in instilling optimism, ran the transfers at what appears to be a profit, taken us to two cup finals and 2nd in the league all in a relatively short space of time.

Sometimes the destination isn't the true source of satisfaction, more the experience of the journey made to arrive there
