Lovren close to signing, expected to happen in coming days. Remy also travelling to Boston tomorrow where the club doctor is to undergo a medical. Origi wants to join and is also expected to travel to Boston later in the week. Not hanging around are we!

I'd just like to support Ed002 when he informed us that we had interest in Hector Moreno and Rojo.

They got lambasted by some fans of not being the correct standard or Liverpool quality.

From what I've seen (Especially Moreno) they look very good players that would improve are team.

So please, instead of slating the players and Ed002, gain a knowledge of them first. The hard work is much appreciated eds

Diego Costa rumours have gone quiet. Kind of odd really. I wonder if we do have real interest or not. Are we still interested in Llori? expected he would sign a while back. cheers {Ed002's Note - Right now the interest in Llori is from elsewhere.}

Don't know really where we go from here. It's not just the defence that is a worry absolutely every area of the pitch there is problems!

But one thing I know is players like Coutinho, sterling, lambert, Lallana are capable of being a much bigger attacking threat, and Lovern, Sakho came in as high profile players and they aren't bad either overnight! So therefore can't really look further than Rodgers as the issue. Just really disappointed, hope the season doesn't peter out

For me we have to play Lambert and Balotelli in order to develop an understanding and build confidence because in front of goal they look pretty blunt right now.

I'd love to see Markovic take Sterling's position at the top of the diamond, instead of out wide. Get him on the ball more and use his pace for those driving runs at the defence. Think it'll help him being able to go either way instead of predictably cutting in from the flanks.

With Chelsea running away with it, I think the most exciting thing this season will be between us, Arsenal and United for 3rd and 4th

Can't hide the fact we have played poor this season. Yet we're still level on points with Arsenal and above Spurs, United and Neverton. Early days I know, but we'll only get better as a team, so beware.

Can't take the Geordies lightly in the next league game, hit a bit of a run. Let's build on the Clean sheet this weekend, be solid and try and get across the winning line. Think that's all we need right now before we hit the ground running!

Let's get one thing straight, Real are a very good team, but they are beatable. Forget about the way we're playing in the league at the moment. We know better than any other fans in the country what we're capable of on a big European night at Anfield. We'll have to play well, very well.

May not be pretty but it would be great to see that steal and resilience we had in Europe with Benitez. We have to develop this, can't always play attractive football. Come on reds!
