I don't post rumours but this from a decent source. Hendo will be going, likely spurs. ibe possibly going, klopp rates him but supposedly has an attitude, possibly Watford. Goetze not happening due to wage demands. He also heard that giggs is the new United manager. there will be other big names leaving in the summer.

Rumours of a 77th minute applause on thurs. All for that.

1.) 11 Feb 2016 16:06:21
Not many clubs would value their fans the way FSG have. They admit they got it wrong and have listened. Of course when so many fans walk out you have to listen from a business point of view but the statement they issued makes it clear the fans are an important part of their plans.

Fair play FSG.

2.) 12 Feb 2016 08:01:29
You say they got it wrong!

They have left the price of 6 match day games the same price of £59 instead of the proposed new price of £77 YET they will be increasing the remaining 13 match day games UP to £ increase on some ticket prices of 11%.

Maybe this is what Mr. Ayre meant when he said some fans "should be careful what they wish for" when talking on this matter.

What may look like a good polished piece of PR on the face of it is going to end up costing fans in the long run.

The walk out was supposed to be as £77 was not seen as affordable. Now none of these will be £77 so they will stay at the more affordable £59.

What would you have expected them to do?

They back tracked and reduced their prices to appease the fans but they weren't going to just roll over so they said that's fine ye can pay more for the lower category games to help make up the revenue. In a way it is a stand to show that they do not intend on getting messed around either.

4.) 12 Feb 2016 15:25:36
@Sean Ireland

I was not against the walkout.

What I am pointing out is that the owners have been given positive PR for backing down when in actual fact they will probably receive MORE in generated income on the new pricing structure than they would have done had the just increased the 6 games to £77.

AND at the end of the day. the only one's going to suffer are the fans.

Ray parlour. you nugget.

1.) 23 Mar 2017 22:39:57
Well I suppose Chelsea, Utd and Spurs keepers are miles ahead of what we have but not sure Harts a big improvement.

2.) 24 Mar 2017 07:16:50
Hart isn't that good. We sign him and we'll still have keeper issues, Karius needs a proper run - what was the point of signing the lad if we drop him after an iffy spell? Honestly I think the way he has been managed has been cack-handed from the off.

3.) 24 Mar 2017 13:08:35
Hart is awful and if you don't believe me, watch his games at Torino (which I do) and you will see that his goalkeeping errors this season are almost in the doubl digits. Hart let in two goals last week vs Inter alone. The guy is hapless and not even better than Migs nor Karius. I think the "Old Boys Club" in the English media are just bigging him up hence, people won't bother watching his games cos frankly, people need to watch his games at Torino and see how dreadful he is.

In about 1995, away at Blackburn, Leonhardsen scored for us, we where driving out that silly car park when some bloke ran out the bushes after having a wazz. it was Ronnie moran. just shouted sorry boys and legged it in the opposite direction. legend. rip.

01 Mar 2017 14:49:25
The fact David moyes had a better win rate at man utd is a bit of an eye opener but stats can be turned into whatever you want them to look like. Moyes took over a title winning side and messed them up. klopp took over a mediocre side and personally I think has improved us. the last 2 months have been beyond belief, I don't think any fan saw this coming but klopp will learn. He will adapt his tactics because if he doesn't he won't be here long. he will sell the players that don't fit his mentality and he will take us on. I could sit here and go on about players to buy and sell but that's A waste of people's time, no one wants to read that. klopp will get this right I have no doubt in my mind it's just going to take longer than I think we all anticipated, him included.

1.) 01 Mar 2017 18:59:16
I agree with your post BUT for the life of me (not you, Abo specifically), can people stop using this win ratio nonsense to compare coaches as it makes no sense at all. Moyes will never be in Klopp's class, win ratio or not as his CV and trophy haul proves it while Moyes like many others I can mention, have won NOTHING to their names. Such daft comparisons are pointless and only used to berate him with and cause unrest within the fan base especially the BR lovers and those rooting for his failure and trust me, there are many of them if you read other LFC sites which I do.

At least firmino found something to laugh about last night.

I think I would if my mrs looked like that 😊.

He was brilliant 13/ 14 season and has struggled with injuries since, he hasn't been seen for past couple years so how can anyone really judge him. where he's from has nothing to do with it. that's a massive chip on some people's shoulders.

We've missed hendo. when fit he's in the team and he's a good captain. Speeds up our play which at times can be a bit pedestrian. great footballing brain.

The entire team went missing in particular games. he can't do it on his own. he is world class and will prove it again next season in a liverpool shirt. Little genius.

Singing at a football match is silly? Ever heard of atmosphere? The twelfth man? Mate you need to maybe go to a football match instead of just spouting nonsense.

Gerrard wasn't the best midfielder in England? Did I just read that? He was the best in Europe for a few years and probably our second greatest ever player.
