Ed002
Do you know if LFC have ever enquired about Ivan Perisic the Croatian midfielder? Or if other clubs in England have pursued his signature?
Thanks

To all those moaning about our recent performances and especially wanting BR removed!!
Were you saying this near the end of last season?
BR was ultimately responsible for us producing some of the most exciting football we have witnessed in the Premier League era. We scored over 100 goals last season.
Yes we have not started this season as we would all of hoped but I think we need to show a little more patience and support
Not all transfers work out to be successful, this is the same for every club no matter what their budget. Transfers are always a risk, some come off spectacularly well and others fail miserably.
We have a very young squad that will improve.
If we qualify for the top 4, get at least through the CL group and a good run in the cups this will be satisfactory. Not a great season but not bad enough to justify sacking our manager.
I believe this squad will be much better the second part of the season and the following seasons to come.
After less than 10 league games some here are panicking and just want immediate success. ( this may be relevant to their age as kids these days want everything yesterday)
Fortunately for us others in the league are also struggling a little at this point in the season.
There is a long way to go this season and support is required not bitching and moaning at every dropped point.
Ps clean sheet yesterday was a positive, if we have more of these the goals at the other end will hopefully start flowing in soon.

Glen Johnson is not everyone's favourite player and rightly so for his performances last season but yesterday when he came on he looked very good.
Manquillo has done ok in his absence but I think he will lose his starting place to GJ now
Let's hope we see more of yesterday's Johnson than last season Johnson
Coutinho wasn't great again yesterday but the rest of the midfield worked very hard and it was refreshing seeing our captain pushed forward playing one-twos with ballotelli on the edge of their box rather than just 40 yard diagonals across the park.
Much needed positive result and I'm sure come our next league game we will improve again
Onwards and upwards fellow reds!

With all the negativity about may I remind some that this is pretty much the same team that totally outplayed Spurs, dominated against Everton and for about 35 mins were bossing it against Man City.
Yes, in between all of this there has been some very average displays but we will improve, hopefully quickly as we don't want to fall too far behind the top 4.
If we get a result against WBA then regroup over the international break, get a few players back into the team and then I think we will slowly start producing the performances that are required.
Daniel Sturridge will make a huge difference when fit as I believe he will help Mario perform better and give the team a more cutting edge and mobility up front.
We may not reproduce last seasons displays but I still think we can achieve a top 4 place this season.
We can only get better.

Fellow Reds
I've got a couple of spare tickets for West Ham away this weekend. Away end.
I'm going myself but now have two spares as a couple of mates have had to pull out. If anyone is interested maybe Eds can give you my email address.

Not sure if I'm missing something but I did not see Skrtel on the bench today.
Does anyone know why?

Agree with that Sean
What was the point in Lambert getting a couple of minutes?
Why not put the young lad Jordan Williams on for 10 mins at the end, this was the perfect opportunity as we were under very little pressure and never looked like losing control of the game.

I think Skrtel has played well the last 10 games or so but he is still so frustrating to watch. His lack of movement when we have the ball is appalling which often leaves either Mignolet or his other team mates around him without an easy option to pass to him. Kolo is the same. Emre Chan on the other hand is constantly moving into space to receive the ball and has instrumental in our improved form.
