Is it likely that Ter Stegen could move this month or in the summer? Have Liverpool expressed any interest?

{Ed002's Note - There are a number of issues that would need to be considered in respect of ter Stegen: (a) Would ter Stegen be willing to drop out of playing in the Champions League with a reasonable chance of winning it? (b) There is a background issue at Barcelona that ter Stegen knows will be resolved in the coming months - will he want to see where he stands after that? (c) Would Liverpool be willing or even able to pay the asking price (or an acceptable price) Barcelona has put on the player. (d) Barcelona would need to recruit a replacement they haven't done so yet.
Right now I cannot confirm if Liverpoolhas approached Barcelona with an offer for ter Stegen or not. I think it unlikely that Barcelona would want to negotiate on price and it is far from clear if ter Stegen would want to move part way through their Champions League campaign - perhaps the summer would eb a better option if the other matter does not get resolved to his satisfaction would be more likely.}

We wouldn't give Migs a 5 year deal then a week later sign a keeper. Future proofing means selling in the summer for a few extra quid then buying with that money.
No deal will happen this window regarding a keeper.

Ed's, hope you've all had a great Christmas.
I've tried the search engine but haven't found much, just wondering if you think Klopp will try to sign a new 'keeper in the summer (assuming we don't get one in Jan as you've said this isn't a great time to buy 'keepers)?
{Ed002's Note - In the summer perhaps. Right now Liverpool has four first team goalkeepers and with Bogdan likely to be let go and Ward likely wanting to leave they will either need to promote or buy one in.}

I hope for Ward's sake he does go to be honest. He isn't going to get a chance here which is unfortunate, he needs to think of his career and move on. Feel for the lad really.

Still can’t believe ward has not had a look in with us this season. the once I seen him in a cup game he looked much better than migs (. I know that’s not saying much) I’m a welsh red and see a lot of ward in goal for wales and he’s much better than what we have been witnessing from the other 2.

I think he gets hyped up because he's England's number1 and traditionally England have always had someone world class in goal.
Shows how far standards have slipped in the England team.

He is not excellent or very good but he can do the job and the defenders can trust.

Must be really historically! In my lifetime England's keepers have been Paul Robinson, David James, Chris Kirkland, Ben Foster, Rob Green and now Hart! I cannot remember England having a good keeper. But then I've only been watching Football since Euro 2004!
