I'm shocked at the inability of our player, bar Diaz, that can actually beat a man one on one.
We used to have a front line where all 3 could.
Atalanta showed how to frustrate this side and Everton copied and pasted.
The amount of backward passes once being pressed is shocking. No one comes deep, turns and tries to take the man on and break the line. It's turgid football.
I love Klopp but he's stubborn at times.
Salah should have been dropped today aswell. Cody jota and Diaz were a better bet.

For me it is simple, the tactics don't work and detract from a lot of strengths that the team has and what worked historically in terms of fast and aggressive pressing. All that inverted full back tactic is crap and we got away with numerous results this year in spite of it, not because of it.

I for one look forward to hopefully reverting to using players to their strength and a change of the guard across parts of the squad.

Bit a of clear out due I agree, stop holding onto players too long.
Matip thiago need replacing, elliot I'm not convinced on same with Diaz, not enough end product.
Need a legit serious defensive midfielder in.
Trent loses the right back spot for me from now also, the young lad coming through has been immense and is the future of that position.

Diaz Macca and Robbo put in the effort tonight. Jones has done nothing now since he came back in. Never been a fan. Much rather Elliott starts. tidy, direct, energetic, determined.

Gomez and Elliott aren’t all that they wouldn’t get a sniff at City or Madrid. Jota is never fit.

It's not losing that gets me, it's doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I have lost count of the amount of times we have tried to walk the ball into the back of the net when there are 8 defenders in the box. Then if we dare shoot, every single chuffing time, the shot is made straight at a oppositions player because there's 8 defenders in the box. Yet despite that, the management fail to notice this and change anything around. If a armchair fan can see it, and experts getting paid millions a year can't, then what hope is there. I think now that maybe a big change is what we all need and is for the best.

I look forward to the new gaffer and a new approach. Everyone's being wrote off on the chat but there's a great bunch of players and a very good squad. Big decisions however do need made going forward in the summer. Salah has to be replaced this summer and possibly another attacker because that forward line isn't scoring enough goals. Jotas a sick note at this point too. Also PLEASE let us play heavy metal football again and return trent to the right touchline.

Spineless losers. 3 of the last 4 seasons have to go down as failure. Thanks for everything Jurgen but he’s just outdated as a manager happens to plenty of them.
