{Ed001's Note - Hendo is due to be fit, but Lallana are Studge are probably a week away yet.}

I hope Sturridge just takes another month to be honest

Midfield of Lucas/Milner/Hendo and then Firmino behind Ings/Benteke and we can get away without Llalana/Studge/Coutinho IMO, but can't wait to have Studge playing alongside Benteke soon, think they'll make a killer combo.

Would also love to see Origi upfront alongside Benteke for last 30mins depending on how things are going.

Only Llalana is likely to be available from our injury list.

Fencey, the good thing for me hopefully is that we aren't in the same position as last year where we almost had to throw him straight back in and hope for the best. With benteke, ings and origi while none of them have hit the ground completely running I feel we have enough options that we can wait until sturidge is at 100% as the players we have are certainly better than a rusty sturidge at like 70% or whatever.

Just read an article, albeit from MailOnline, referenced on the BBC Sport website, which states that Studge is back in full training.

Says that no comment has been made on him appearing against United, however, the same article says that Lallana and Hendo have not yet gone back to full training.

Don't know if Hendo's suffered a setback, or if the Mail is barking up the wrong tree, but the article suggests that he won't be ready for Saturday.

Any further update Eds, or should I just ignore everything the Mail writes, lol!

{Ed001's Note - I have not heard anything new mate, the club likes to keep injuries quiet mate so it is difficult to get info without upsetting people.}

OK mate, understood. Thanks for the reply

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it has become very difficult, though personally I am not sure why they worry so much, it makes little real difference. They should be more open, more communicative with the fans, football in general I mean.}

Yeah that's part of my thinking shanek, no need to rush him, origi hasn't had a sniff and Ings hasn't had a proper go either, no need to rush him at all

Judging by the last few games and the players Rodgers has brought in the the team has evolved a bit from last year the main changes I have noticed is a lack of wide men in midfield which suggests he wants the full backs to get forward and act as wingers clyne looks up to the job Gomez however is strong defensively but weak at taking on the oppositions full backs, Moreno is better suited in my opinion in the left back roll, he also expects the mid fielders to support benteke, continho is our only purely attacking midfielder that is apart from firmino who has shown glimpse of attacking creativity. llanana for me has not stepped up and shows no sign of doing so soon. and I wouldn't mind adding him along with Allen to the transfer list, let's face it there nowhere near liverpool standard, I would like to see Rodgers sacrificing a holding midfield player and playing two up front, I mean we brought in three during the transfer window? I would like to see us getting a natural winger to replace sterling were short here, and a center half too, otherwise we look in better shape albeit only marginally!

Hey eds, hope your well. I just wondered what the clubs thoughts on Danny Ward were? Is he seen to be our future no.1? He has started the season at Aberdeen splendidly hopefully he can continue to perform and improve.
Cheers
Hutch

{Ed001's Note - he is seen as having a bright future, his start with Aberdeen has done him no harm at all. He was very close to getting a chance last season, so this run of games and clean sheets will only enhance his chances. Hopefully.}

Could be wrong ed but I thought almost 3 years ago or so he was thought to be a real prospect but failed to impress over the last couple years so it's good to see he's doing well up there although that being said still have seen very very little of him actually playing

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I have not had a chance to see him play but he was still well liked within the club and it was only his lack of experience that saw him miss out on the starting spot when Migs got dropped.}
