{Ed022's note - brand new player profile on Jordan Rhodes of Huddersfield Town. I've chosen him as my player of the month for February 2012 hense why I've profiled him at such a young age. 36 goals so far this season in League One, and would be a bargain for any team who decides to challenge for his signature. www.player-profiles.co.uk - thanks all.}

A bargain Ed22? I heard Huddersfield want £10,000,000 for the lad... I'd rate that as more of a gamble that a bargain.

Eds were we looking at Podolski in the past? If so do you know if we were looking for specifically for a left footed forward to play with Suarez and Carroll in a front 3 or was it just another option up front? Any thoughts would be appreciated

Loafmaster Flex {Ed001's Note - we did look at Podolski, we tried to buy him before we got Carroll, we carried on watching him but he was always likely to go to Arsenal. I don't believe it was anything to do with him being left footed, more to do with his qualities as a player.}

Hey Eds
Probably a bit early to start talking about summer transfers but if Suarez does leave do you think we could get someone like Lavezzi to replace him even without CL? {Ed001's Note - it really depends on who else makes moves for a player, that is the main thing that will decide where he goes. But I would doubt our chances without it.}

I still dont think he will leave. most footballers leave because of what happened, great footballer stay and become better because of it and try to prove doubters wrong

Will youse please drop the suarez leaving muck kenny says hes not going anywhere end off

gee man

If we draw this game, consider fourth place all but lost

We lost it when we drew with spurs at home another team we should have beat , its time to be realistic and accept 4th is gone and play the reserve players who has a chance to make it in the 1st team

Thanks buddy, very informative... appreciate the heads up.

Ah yet more doom mongers with their unsigned posts. Surely you'd be happier attempting to poison a different football club with your brand of "support"

Sent to Coventry

Whilst it is doom mongering, he does have a point, but 4th place was never down to 1 game its the consistent failure to put away chances; coupled with the fact midfield have not chipped in with many goals. Im sure KK & DC will have this in mind. I think in the long run if we miss out on the Champions league it will help our youngers, as KK has shown a willingness to play them in the comp. We just have to catch the next Aguero or Cavani before they are available for over inflated prices, we already have the 3rd youngest squad in the league so the futures rosy.

I think we can get fourth. but we need to win basically everygame and rely on arsenal to screw here season

I think we can get fourth. but we need to win basically everygame and rely on arsenal to screw here season

Which they easily can. The only reason they are nicking 4th at the moment it coz of Van Persie. If he doesnt get service, Arsenal are as sharp as a feather!!.

Now if Arsenal have a game against teams like Stoke City they will struggle as their defence is nowhere near ours while the defenders of stoke can man-handle van persie with ease.

Luck has played a large part in denying us atleast 20-25 points this season. This time, it must make up for that and help us secure wins in all our remaining matches. I dont know why, but my gut tells me that our home game against Chelsea will determine who finishes fourth...

Thanks for explaining the obvious -.-

It is already lost, lets just try to finish in the top 7 and have these players get better and gel together.

Hi Eds, I hope that you are all well. I was wondering how Agudelo got on when he trained with Liverpool? Did he leave a positive impression? Are there any plans for him to come back here? Thanks. SJB {Ed001's Note - he worked hard and impressed with his attitude, but his ability was nowhere near the level to be considered as a player. He might well return to train again, the MLS are hoping to send your players out to train in Europe each off season.}

Thanks for the insight Ed001. Much appreciated. SJB {Ed001's Note - he was well liked and spoke in glowing terms about training with us, there is a great interview with him somewhere (I think it might have been the MLS official site), he gushes like a fan about training with us, but nothing like the same about the time he spent with other clubs.}

Iker Munian? Any chance?! I think I recall that we were offered him. Is he on the radar?

They wanted 40m+ euros for him though.

Forget munian soldao is the answer for our problems we need GOALS think if we get him and hold on suarez they would tear any deffence in world forget about eruope in my opinion and would welcome ed1 opinion {Ed001's Note - I would like Soldado, he is more of a goal scorer than Munain and probably a better buy for our needs.}

Ed, is there any interest in Falcao that you know of? If Suarez were to leave, is he a viable replacement? Cheers

ToonRed {Ed002's Note - There is no interest in Falcao and I don't see him arriving anytime soon.}

Falcao will cost 40m upwards, why would liverpool spend so much on a poacher? if suarez leaves or even if he doesnt liverpool should be looking at more creative players. perhaps an attacking mid or second striker.

Completely different style of player to Suarez, moved to Athletico Madrid for big money at the start of the year as a repacement for Forlan and is unlikely to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Got a question for you eds regarding Mikel San Jose of Bilbao. I believe he was with us at a younger age? Why did we ever let him go? As he turns out to be a pretty decent cb.. {Ed002's Note - It was nothing more than him wanting to go to a club where he could play first team football.}

Do you see any buy back/first option clauses being used in the near future? {Ed002's Note - It is unlikely as (a) it limits the clubs a player can move to due to the reluctance of teams to agree such deals, and (b) it would mean accepting less money for a player in order to insert such clauses in transfers.}

He is with Liverpool 2 years. and he have Thanks Liverpool for all the man he is today. there are lots of young Lads in team who never really get a chance to show what they can do. after Owen and Gerrard we never found a Hero who can Rock EPL
