{Ed002's Note - I assume this is Twitter you are getting the Higuain stuff from? There is no done deal for Moreno that lets him play in another game. The offer for the player was provided last week - you can use the search engine. We will see where it goes next week.}

Eds is the offer the one that contains suso on loan with an option to buy?

{Ed002's Note - As I understand it yes. It is also possible that a slightly lower cash fee on Suso permanently might be an option.}

Eds, have Liverpool had an offer rejected for Lazio's Balde Kieta Diao, never heard of the lad but he's ment to be promising, thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of a bid but given the asking price quoted to Juventus it seems a lot of money for the kid to me.}

Hey eds
Any interest in Zacharie Boucher from Toulouse?

He's only about 5'10, would probably get dominated in the Premier League.

I'm pretty sure Carra is 5'10" - size ain't everything ;)

Markovic has ruptured his Achilles tendon and will be out of action for at least 3 months.

This ain't right is it Ed? FFS. I heard it was just a slight strain.

{Ed001's Note - last I heard they thought it was not serious, but I haven't checked since.}
If he has ruptured his Achilles, being an athlete, it would be treated with surgery and would be immobilised anywhere up to 8 weeks. A three month timeline would likely be a little optimistic. I don't think we would see him till 2015. Let's hope it's not the case. I would also imagine the club would have announced such an injury. If it's a tendinitis rest is imperative as the tendon will have to settle before recommencement of strenuous activity. I suspect this May be why we have heard little on the injury. Tendinitis can be serious if not treated correctly, ask Owen Hargreaves!
Cheers

Markovic could be back training at the start of next week.

I've seen ChiefScout get a lot of news correct. Unfortunately, I believe him on this. First Llalana, now Markovic. Worried.

I hope it's not tendinitis. I was a sufferer at 15 years old and had to quit football for 4 years before it had healed enough to restart football. I've only recently started playing again. At 15 I could run 100m in 11.8 seconds. At 20 I can only run 100m in 12.5.
Absolutely devastated tbh. My explosiveness off the mark has deserted me due to the years of rest.

I don't want to believe it, but ChiefScout has been reliable so far. I hope you're wrong though.

Right, Suarez gone, two of our main signings our quite seriously injured, one of our most promising signing - maybe the most promising signing (Origi) will join us only next year, no big name wants to come this summer and our bids are keep being rejected, I say let's skip 2014-2015 and focus on 2015-2016. The season after this - bring it on.

Where was Markovic when we were finishing 2nd? For that matter, where was Lallana? The boys will be better with them, but its not as if they're hopeless without them!
I still hope its not as bad as ChiefScout says.

Oh no Fanobip, perhaps well have to play the first few games of the season without Suarez and without our new signings!!
Would that by any chance be what we had to do last year and coped extremely well with?

We could always sign east Midlands Scouser!

I hope it's not true. I ruptured my Achilles' tendon about 5 months ago, I'm back playing footy now but I was out for the end of last season and the full GAA season. It's never going to be as strong as it was. Once you rupture or tear it, it's never the same again. I mean hey, it's called the human weak spot for a reason.

No he’s not he has a slight hamstring problem

I have the same problem as well as a tore ligament in my ankle iv been out for 5 weeks now and still can't even stand or let alone walk. so if he does have this problem I feel his pain and frustration

According to the Mirror via BBC Sport, Moreno is done and will be announced after he has played for Sevilla against Real Madrid in Cardiff onTuesday.
Price is allegedly £14m plus Suso.
Think that has undervalued Suso, but I will be excited to see Moreno here.

Does this sound about right Ed to you please?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate, talks have never completely closed so it is possible.}
There seems to be some confusion whether Suso is included as a sale or a loan. If we have sold him then I would be disappointed but if it is a loan that was needed to get the deal done, then I am happy with that. However when he comes back next season he needs to be given a year with us to see if he can fulfil his potential. Anyone know if it is a loan or not?
Agree1

He has 1 year left on his contract I think. don't see how a loan would be benificial shaz.
Agree1
Disagree0
If he only has a year left then we should try to get him to sign another. However I know there may be complications behind the scenes that we are not aware off such as not agreeing to sign a new one without guarantees of first team football etc. If that is the case then I guess we have to get something for him this summer. Shame though as I would have liked to see what he could have done given a bit of a run in the team (not sure who I would drop to accommodate him though?)
