Ed002 will diego Capel be moving to Liverpool for a fee around 6mil in January? Can you see Juventus making a bid for Alan Dzagoev, I love him and wish Liverpool would get the funds and create an interest to sign him. He's an amazing talent {Ed002's Note - (a) Marseille, Swansea and Braga showed an interest Diego Capel over the summer as he was available after what was a pretty torid time last season. Liverpool enquired after his availability on loan as I explained. His agent has been instructed by Sporting since the summer to find him a new club with an asking price in the region of €6M. His agent spoke with a number of clubs in England, including Spurs, Swansea, Liverpool, West Ham and Sunderland. Two failed bids were made by Marseilleover the summer. If Liverpool want to push ahead they will need to offer hard cash and not seek a loan, but I am not aware of any interest from them right now. (b) Dzagoev has previously interested Chelsea and Arsenal (who at one point last season sent an entire contingent to watch him play in Moscow) but that interest has waned. Anzhi, Roma, Napoli and Spurs have contacted CSKA during 2013 to no avail. Whilst it should be noted that he signed a new contract last summer, spent some time fighting a ban, fallen out with Fabio Capello and become a father , he has said that he would only leave Moscow for Italy and is continuing to make a bit of a mess of everything right now. However, if he were available, Juventus and Roma would be two possible destinations.}

So we are interested in Matic, Fernando and M'Vila. Good to see we've at least identified our weak point. And Di Marzio says Benfica would accept €30 mil for Matic. Although he's a good player for less than 30 mil we could get Fernando and 'The Ukranian Messi'.
It was clear from after the West Brom game that BR likes a 1-2 midfield and likes the '1' to be a controller rather than a destroyer and I think Fernando is more the latter. But I think this can be supplemented by getting my boy Joe Allen back in the team because he can dictate the flow and tempo of the game and is a bit more creative than we have seen thus far.
The last option M'Vila. His name's been floating around for like the past week and I think he fits that controller role extremely well. I've only watched him for a bit for Rennes and in the two games against Wigan but he was fantastic in those two games. Comfortable with the ball, good effecient, positive passing and on the whole very good at spotting and snuffing out any danger.
The commentator mentioned there were 60 odd scouts watching him! Now those were only against Wigan and I can't be bothered watching any games from Russia, so I don't know how he's faired since moving. Off the field issues are generally overstated but I don't know whether he's sorted himself out yet.
But yeah good to see we're looking to address the problem
I mentioned those 3 players on Monday , thae are the 3 players I would be looking at, any 2 of those would be excellent, time to upgrade on the mediocre lucas
Matic -dream land
M'vila-not a target
Fernando-not a target.
How much money do you think Liverpool have? Maybe 15mil in jan
It wouldn't surprise me if we do 30 mil net. There is this myth that the owners don't have any money or refuse to spend. They've done around 130 mil net in transfers alone in the five windows they've been here. That averages to 26 mil a window. Even then we're not including pay offs to Hodge, Kenny, Aquilani, Joe Cole. was Poulsen still around? The 50 mil to scrap the botched stadium plans.
Lest we forget we bid 25 mil for Diego Costa and around the same for Mkhitaryan.
Money is available for the right players.
We're definitely looking at those three. Ed002's even said we enquired about Matic. Whether we'll spend that amount on him is debatable because although he is a very good player there are better options IMO on a cost v quality scale. Fernando and Sebastian Rode
M'Vila would be my choice, if BR thinks he can sort out his attitude issues.
How do you know M'Vila and Fernando are not targets, Davies?

Liverpool will agree within the next month the transfer of Juan Manuel Iturbe for a fee of around £14m. the source wasn't sure whether it would be possible to get him in January though as he is on loan at the moment. really depends if Porto and Verona can reach an agreement on an early termination of the loan, otherwise we'll have to wait until Summer.

Looking like Sterling out on loan to Spain ed002?
One out, one in? {Ed002's Note - I understand that a loan is being considered as he wants more playing time. As to whether or not he will be moving to Spain I don't know. Options of a move to an EPL side are very limited.}

I don't know if it happens very often but do Dutch sides ever show an interest in loaning in young English players? Its a great league for young players to develop in.
YNWAdam {Ed002's Note - Dutch clubs take players on loan as do clubs of other countries. I suspect the Championship might make a more likely destination.}

If that is the case Ed, I'd like to see him at QPR. It is the club he started his career at, and its flying high in the league. My main reason though is because of who is the manager. Harry Redknapp has this incredible ability to bring the best out of wingers. Bale, Townsend and Lennon being the best examples. I mean if he can make Lennon play well, he can get Sterling firing! Any chance we could see some interest from QPR as they look to maintain their title push?
YNWAdam {Ed002's Note - I really have no idea - the world does not revolve around a Liverpool kiddie.}

Out of interest Ed002, why is a loan to an EPL side unlikely? {Ed002's Note - As I said, options of a move to an EPL side are very limited - many who might consider the kid are already covered as their loan slots are taken up.}

Ah, thanks Ed. There was me thinking it was something heinous!

any news on Juan Iturbe? {Ed002's Note - Iturbe is on loan for the season and I can't see how he will be moving in January. Porto will not be keen to sell next summer for anything other than a high prices and then the only likely destination is Italy with interest from Roma, Juventus and Fiorentina. Inter have previously enquired about buying part of his ownership rights and other clubs may also be interested in doing the same.}
But the ball isn't in Porto's court it is in Verona's seeing as they have a option to buy at the end of the season. Iturbe is happy with porto so can't see him wanting to go back.
