Hi Ed do you know if any teamsare interested in matej vydra? {Ed001's Note - yes lots, but I expect him to stay at Watford, if they get promoted.}

I thought he was only on loan at Watford from Udinese? Surely they would want him back {Ed002's Note - It is too early to say right now.}

Liverpool have offered Valencia 23, 576, 600 euros for French duo Adil Rami and Sofiane Feghouli. Valencia are waiting to see if they qualify for CL before deciding what players they need to sell.

Well it was a bit of stupid idea to make an offer then, wasn't it?

I also don't quite see the point of giving them random numbers and petty cash, they'll never go for it.

07 Apr 2013 23:09:25
wow, you got the number really acurrate.
no truth to this eds?

Malak

What is stupid about making offers for players that could be up for sale? Random numbers? Petty cash? that's £20 m lad.

i was about to say this little offer??
that I would say be a great deal for valencia!

£ 10 million a head!

hi eds
i never really get posts onto the website but what aare the chances for
X. Alonso
N'Koulou
Dede
Sow
Eriksen coming to lfc?
thanks please get back to me, great site! {Ed002's Note - Alonso, Dede and Eriksen have been addressed at length - try the search function. Liverpool has not shown any interest in N'Koulou in terms of speaking with Marseille. However AC Milan, Manchester City and Barcelona have made their interest in N'Koulou known. Marseille do expect interest from another Englisg club at somepoint soon. Right now Sow seems an unlikely buy.}

Only Alonso

Eds morning do u think FSG will throw there youth policy regarding transfers out the window and look to bring in experience providing they can add something to our starting 11 jus something else do u see them comin to games in the coming weeks to talk budgets/targets JON96 {Ed002's Note - I think rather too much is made regarding this supposed policy on "youth". With financial constraints coming in all clubs will be looking to players who are younger as it helps with managing costs. However, I think it unlikely that any club would put absolute constraints on transfers. JWH and a couple of others from FSG had been in London immediately before Christmas and again just after the New Year and I understood that there were tentative plans to attend a game sometime in January but for some reason they decided not to. I have no feeling as to whether or not they will attend any matches before the end of the season.}

Why do people actually care whether they attend matches or not? Personally I'm very grateful for all FSG has done for us but they aren't football people, it's not like them being in the ground actually gives us anything. As long as they support the club and don't get us back to the situation we were in when they bought us, they can watch from America if they want - fine by me. First class air travel from America for the whole JWH family is probably equal to a physio's wages!

not a Liverpool rumour but due to his name was mentioned here before: after german sports commentator from yesterdays Bundesliga broadcast said Schuerle of Leverkusen is almost Chelsea bound maybe this option for Liverpool is off if it ever was one {Ed002's Note - Schurrle was never an option for Liverpool.}

Hi eds is it still hard to get info out of Liverpool regarding future transfer targets? {Ed001's Note - from Liverpool itself it is still extremely difficult, they are keeping things tight. Just have to keep hoping the other end of deals are not so quiet, like in January.}

Anyone think with spurs linked with center half's all the time Michael Dawson might be available? Perfect to replace carra any idea ed's {Ed002's Note - I am sure they would take a decent offer - but I explained previously the plan was to have Alderweireld replace Gallas.}

Dawson, kaboul, vertonghen & caulker remain the centre halfs! alderweireld will replace gallas and may shift walker from the rb position

Been saying for a while now that Liverpool should be trying to get Dede. Just wandering eds if there's any NEW news on that? All the rags are saying we're interested and apparently his agent has quoted we are interested, any chance of beating Ac Milan to his signature?
DBol {Ed002's Note - Dede was one of the players Caniggia was looking at before Rodgers arrived and Caniggia remains very interested in the player. However, Liverpool has made no approach to the player's representive or agent and have not spoken with Vasco at all. Two other clubs have already put offers on the table.}

Chelsea & Milan ed? Cheers

Malak {Ed002's Note - Yes.}

07 Apr 2013 11:07:51
do you mind me asking what the offers are in the range of if you know?

Malak {Ed002's Note - I don't really want to get in to the money Malak as it serves to confuse only.}

Hi ed.
I have seen cannaga mentioned on this site a few times in relation to South American players. Is her our South American scout?

Thanks. {Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Hello Eds,
I saw on another page you mentioned Honda's representatives have had talks with two clubs from England. I assume one is Everton, Who is the other? is it Liverpool?

Personally reckon he would be a better buy than erikson and more realistic. At his age he would be a perfect foil for the likes of Suso and Texeira while they mature a little more. If we go for Erikson, it would mean very limited opportunities for Suso and Texeira. What do you reckon fellow kopites? {Ed002's Note - It is Fulham.}

07 Apr 2013 10:11:13
That is true mate! I think we don't need attacking midfielders
We have Coutinho, Suso, Gerrard, henderson all play

Is it true madrid have offered alonso a new deal if so can we put that to rest? because I believe we have a couple of quality midfielders likes of hendo/jonjo/ as much as xabi is quality and a LFC LEGEND and they way he cares for LFC even after the way he was treated makes him a class act I just think why spend money we don't have to because in hendo case he's proven a lot of people wrong and can only get better I just wish jonjo would take a leaf outta hendo book because he is quality onwards and upwards for our MASSIVE club JON96 {Ed002's Note - The issue will be whether or not Alonso wishes to stay and what options are available to him - which at the moment is seemingly just Galatasaray.}
