{Ed001's Note - I expect that to be the number one priority.}

I really would give Ward a game.

How many points has Mignolet cost us this season? Our defence was hopeless. The only plus point today was we know Firmino is not a flop.

kwkhong, I just saw this posted.

‪#‎Mignolet‬ has now cost Liverpool an approximate 15 points this season.
[via Squawka] ‪#‎LFC‬

Now it's all subjective but it gives you a rough idea.

Firmno was the only positive in the game, our defence is terrible.

Thanks for that ed, can't wait, it's getting embarrassing.

Whilst I agree we need a new number one, maybe he was distracted today.

Agree1 Disagree39

{Ed001's Note - bull. That is an embarrassing excuse for the worst keeper in the Prem.}

06 Feb 2016 18:32:38
Ed1 what was the new contract about? I really don't understand that at all. He is seriously the wirst GK in the prem. his kicking even when he's not under pressure never finds it's man.
The team needs a serious overhaul, only guys who should play is clyne coutinho firminho sturridge and can maybe.

Agree9 Disagree16

{Ed001's Note - it was a terrible mistake.}

06 Feb 2016 19:07:38
Eds, we are so good at pulling out of deals why didn't we pull out of this one? Ian defo plays jenga on the first date! Fans are on the brink, another thing why the hell was DS on the bench when we had no intention of playing him? Another PR spin! 3 spins in 3 weeks is a joke (tickets, Teix and now sturridge) Extremely poor buy klopp too keep the same team even moreno wtf? Your telling me flanno would not have made sure the team was up for that while the fans were walking out? Instead he's sat on the bench! What is going on? No heart, no fight, no good!

Why did we recall Ward?

06 Feb 2016 20:07:09
Klopp, get Mingo out of our club ASAP. What you were thinking when you gave the poorest excuse of a GK a new contract in spite of all the goals he's cost us approaching double digits, we we will never know. But this is your mistake and it is now your job to fix it. A GK is supposed to get better with age but with Mingo, it is the opposite. Get rid of him and get Ward in now so we can see what he has.

06 Feb 2016 20:10:40
He got you a point against spurs!

Agree11 Disagree28

06 Feb 2016 20:51:49
But has cost us 15 points this season so what's your point, Winston?

Agree11 Disagree5

06 Feb 2016 21:11:26
It looked like he had the ball and still let it trickle into his own net. It looked like he just stood there looking at the second goal, though the defenders have to do better there, Defoe shouldn't have been able to receive the ball never mind turn and shoot with it.

Agree7 Disagree12

{Ed001's Note - he defo had the first one, it was embarrassing.}

07 Feb 2016 01:28:11
Bogdan made two mistakes and he's been totally and completely dropped. Literally turfed.

Mignolet makes two or more mistakes a game, and has regularly cost us games. Also literally.

Needs to be dropped to the bench and sold in the summer.

Fans saying he's "bang average"; he's not even that. Vito Mannone is an average GK and he was far superior to Mignolet today. Countless big saves from strikes in close.

A "bang average" GK would make those basic saves today that Mignolet failed at today.

Agree29 Disagree2

07 Feb 2016 01:34:17
I've never been called Winston before, I'm quite flattered.

He hasn't coat you 15 points at all, what a load of rubbish. The fact is Liverpool aren't very good and your probably where you should be with the quality of players you have. He has also saved you some points.

What are you saying, that you should be two points above spurs, three behind Leicester? Stop moaning, Goalkeepers make mistakes, deal with it. Blame the team.

Agree11 Disagree38

07 Feb 2016 08:03:54
Who is saying we should be two behind Leicester and three behind Spurs? Only you by the looks of things.

Keeping the ball out of the net is not the only job required from a keeper. Commanding your area, communicating with the back four, positioning, footwork, dealing with crosses from set pierces and from corners, playing the ball out from goal and giving your back four confidence.

Outside of shot stopping in certain games, Migs fails miserably in all of the above mentioned. I sit behind the goal and see this week in week out.

You are talking complete tosh Whiston.

Agree10 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - when did he ever gain us any points? When has his shotstopping ever consisted of doing anything other than making an easy save look difficult? The guy is a liability. Whiston is just a troll who has clearly never even seen him play or he would know his comments border on insane.}

07 Feb 2016 08:27:25
Exactly Ed 001 he hasn't gained us anything

When you look at how many points De Gea gained an average Manchester United last season, the two keepers are opposite ends of the spectrum, worlds apart. Our keeper has cost us points.

Should have realised he was a troll and not replied on this Sunday morning.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend Ed1.

Agree9 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - only a troll could possibly deny Mignolet is costing us points!}

07 Feb 2016 09:39:14
Maybe the goal keeping coach needs sacking too!

Agree11 Disagree2

07 Feb 2016 13:28:03
Whiston, your post is pathetic. In case up don't know, if a GK or outfield player, makes an individual mistake and a goal is scored, it's that player's fault. Plain and simple. Blaming the team for his mistakes is a poor excuse of defending a GK and your pathetically lame defence doesn't even pass the laugh test. He's not even an average GK. He is bang terrible and we will win nothing with him. Every big team aspiring to win things have gk's who win them games like Courtois, Cech, Lloris, De Gea, the lot. None of these teams have gk's that wins game/ points for the other team like Mingo. Mingo won't even make the bench at Chelsea because of Courtois and Begovic are far superior to him. He has cost us goals approaching the double digits this season and stats suggest he has cost us 15 points this season alone. HE cost us points vs Sunderland with his error and that is a fact. Deal with that, genius! N btw, the GK coach needs sacking as well.

Agree6 Disagree12

07 Feb 2016 21:49:10
Dan said that according to squawka Mignolet has cost you approximately 15 points. Add those 15 points to your total and that takes you between spurs and Leicester doesn't it. It ain't rocket science.

You don't moan when he makes good saves do you?

Nick, some of us have better things to do than to come on here on a Sunday morning just to respond to your whingeing, I have replied when it suits me.

On lfctv they where talking about Liverpool concided 26 goals and 21 of them have been scored from the frist shot on goal. That has to be the kepers fauls no.

And the colossus that is Sahko needs to follow Mignolet shortly after.

In fact, I'd only keep the following players (that play regularly) :

Clyne - solid, if unspectacular. Been half decent.

Henderson - our best midfielder but a long way from Liverpool captain I'm afraid. Never in a million years captain material.

Can - there's a player there somewhere.

Firmino - showing a few signs, especially lately.

Coutinho - our best player by a country mile.

Ibe - certainly raw talent that can be developed.

The rest just don't cut the mustard I'm sorry (other than DS) . Bang average at best.

Agree3 Disagree12

{Ed001's Note - and Clyne is not average? Really????}

08 Feb 2016 12:44:21
Yep - I would say he's average/ good compared to other RB's in the league. Certainly not a world beater for sure.

Agree1 Disagree7

08 Feb 2016 19:13:13
Clyne is solid enough ed

Migs on the other hand has conceded 63% of shots at him this season Klopp should have never gave him a new contract ever put the fear of God in me.
