Let's hope not. We will probably get thrashed the way Dortmund is playing.

I read an article regarding David Wagner being appointed Huddersfield boss and how this might work out well for Liverpool in terms of loaning players out to them etc. Is this the media putting 2+2 together and getting 5 or is there some truth to this?

Hello, what is the situation with Jose Enrique? Has he been injured or completely frozen out? The man had quit social media to concentrate on his career last I heard.

{Ed001's Note - he is not injured.}

I heard he quit football to focus on social media.

If we paid out Brad Jones's contract, I wonder why didn't we do the same for Enrique.

Maybe because Enrique earns more than Jones, and rescinding his contract would cost more? They will perhaps look to sell him January to get him off the wages, though don't expect any transfer fee.

Klopp said he will give chances to youngsters and doesn't mind if they make mistakes, but that he won't be giving chances to players who has already been given chance after chance and messed it up - I think he meant Enrique and Balotelli.

I went to the Bounmouth game and saw Enrique so he is alive! But what really annoyed me is he walked past all the kids waiting for an autograph gripping his mrs hand like he was to important to sign them shirts etc we don't like to see that at Liverpool FC.

Ally I'm from Belfast and don't get to as many matches as I'd like to. I started going with a local liverpool supporters club. I was 14 and met Michael Owen and he didn't acknowledge Any1. Put his head down and walked past us. There was about 10 of us so it's not as if he would have be signing all day. From that day I couldn't stand him. And now he's a boring kn*b pundit I hate him even more lol.

{Ed001's Note - Owen was like that all the time, up his own backside.}

I had the same from him, my family know him and his dad terry quite well and said he's a sound lad but whenever I've met him (not through family) he's been an ignorant bell end.

So I believe ed. One off the older supporters we were with started yelling at him that it was people like us that paid his wages. Still didn't bat an eyelid. Can't stand the muppet.

Icardi

Im guessing all these reports coming out is just another striker being linked by the lazy journalists or are we actually interested in him?

Let's cut to the chase I like Sturridge but it's got to be last chance saloon when he comes back this time surely.

I couldn't agree more. If he can prove himself to stay fit for maybe the rest of the season then that's good on all fronts, but if he does get injured again then its time to cut our losses with him. thing is he would buy him?

Agree5 Disagree8

05 Nov 2015 12:13:17
If we play one up front, I don't think we will buy another striker, and magve Sturridge will leave in the summer. Benteke Ings when he's back and firmino can play there, and depending on his thoughts about origi he's hopefully going to improve.

Sturridge had a bad year last year come back and got a knock on his knee could happen to any boby please give it a rest.

gerrards book mentions about him having to gee him (studge) up abit and give him the encouragement to play sometimes when he (studge) thought he wasn't fit enough. seems like abit of a mental issue that he needs to get over. if he continues to play the amount of games he as done in the last 2 years we need to let him move on, make the space in the squad and get someone in who is desperate to play every week and will go through the pain barrier (as would suarez)

Agree7 Disagree3

05 Nov 2015 15:27:50
The fact of the matter is that none of the 3 other strikers that we have are as good as Sturridge (yes, he's better than Benteke! ) . Firmino should be playing up front only for tactical reasons and not because he is better than Benteke or Sturridge (because as a striker, he's not) . And people are way too quick to both assign sainthood on players and then give up on them at the first sign of trouble. Patience!

Maybe Ter Stegen is moving to Liverpool and Mauro Icardi too.

Agree4 Disagree2

06 Nov 2015 07:40:59
My point to those who hit the disagree button yes he is our best striker by far and I want him to stay and bang 20 plus goals in a season but he isn't going to do that when he's on the table most of the season.

Agree1 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - why is it last chance though? Surely it is down to the medical staff to decide that? They should know the chances of him being fit in the future and whether he will play more or not. Leave it to them, along with Klopp, to figure out what is the best path to take with the lad. Gerrard should never have said what he did about Sturridge in his book, it was unfair, Sturridge has played with injuries and it is why he ended up suffering so badly.}
