Any news about salah and bobby eds?

Believable5 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - mo is being assessed and is 50/50 for the barca game masson, bobby unfortunately will not make it mate..

I just hope whatever happens we are making the correct medical decision for Salah.

As much as I want him to play, he shouldn’t play if he isn’t fully cleared by all the appropriate doctors!

Ok cheers bud. fingers crossed for salah. don’t fancy us at all to get past Barcelona but if any team could do t in a game under the lights at anfield you never know. would definitely start Shaqiri and salah if fit with mane through the middle.

Did Bobby playing that ten minutes v Barcelona make it worse Ed or has he picked up another injury?

{Ed025's Note - i really dont know sorry mate..

I would say it didn’t help, I put up a post questioning the decision to bring bobby on against Barcelona and got a handful of things down.

Hi Ed's,

Just a quick one on marko grujic!

I've been watching him pretty consistently in the bundesliga this year and I must add he is of standard to start in this liverpool team. His manager at Hertha argues he's the best player they've ever had!

Is there any update on his future next season?

Cheers.

Believable11 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - Yes, I understand he has been doing well. The club open to selling him but quoted €40M when an enquiry was made. There is a good chance that obtaining a work permit to play in England will be very difficult, and the player has said he would be open to staying in Berlin for another year.}

05 May 2019 14:26:01
Of standard to start in this LFC team?
And which player would you drop to accommodate GRujic?
We already have a flexible and good variety of midfielders in Hendo, Fabinho, Keita, Ox and Gini. Grujic would basically be a Milner replacement/ 6th choice which I am pretty sure the lad does not want. If there is a team actually willing to pay what we want, then its best for all parties that Grujic moves on. The same goes for Wilson.

IB it is not a case of having midfielders ranked 1-6, he wouldn’t be 6th he would be a different dynamic to a fluid midfield 3. Each game needs to be individually analysed and the midfield can be picked.

Admittedly he still needs to prove himself but don’t write him off.

I've watched him at Berlin, and he'd definitely be an asset to have around. IB, you say he won't wan't to come back if he's not first choice? Many players would be happy not to be first choice if there's silverware involved. Let's just hop that we have just as impressive season next time.

You'd be surprised how people drop their demands for guaranteed playing time when you've reached two Chamions League Semi Finals in two years (the only team in Europe, btw. ) and are within a pinch of winning the most competitive league in the world.

How many goals has Grujic got from CM? I think this is something we need to add to our midfield.

Good point aggerdo.

Klopp hasn't made many blunders in the transfer market. Only karius and even he did ok bar the final. Klavan came good in the end. Matip has been very good lately. I think grujic would be a great addition, especially if lallana leaves, which looks likely.

I have heard from a contact that Klopp has a keen interest in Leroy Sane and as part of his planning for the summer (should a space become available due to a first team player leaving) he has asked to be keep in the loop on the players situation.

Have any of the Ed's heard similar? The guy who told me isn't your typical moron and does hear reliable info occasionally about various teams.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - Obviously Sane was an option in the past - going forward if Mane were to leave this summer Sane might be considered again by the club - but I am not aware of any approach to Manchester City asking to be "kept informed" at all.}

05 May 2019 10:32:35
I would love Sane in our team but you must be smoking something over there if you think Guardiola would sell him to us for a reasonable price!

No chance unless Mane goes which is unlikely since Real will probably get Hazard.
Plus I doubt we have that sort of money City would want to part ways with him.

Cover for the front three is definitely what we need. Sane is unrealistic, I'd take a chance on Zaha from palace. Can play wide and upfront, he's not lazy. Maybe worth a look reds?

LiverpoolFC8, I think Zaha has found his natural level at Crystal Palace. I don’t think he is good enough for Liverpool. But who would have thought Robbo would turn out this good?

Big Ed001, would you shell out for CAM next season if you were a manager? Assuming we don't lose any players to transfers.
Or would you try out some of the youth that looks good at the moment? Kent/ Wilson/ Brewster?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Brewster is not really a CAM from what I have seen. Kent is nowhere near good enough and I have my doubts about Wilson. It really depends on who goes as to who we need to buy though.}

05 May 2019 20:55:18
Kent is gone, Wilson will probably have pre season to prove himself.

I think lallana should go and get regular game time somewhere else but i doubt people will want someone who spends so much time on the treatment table. it's unfortunate as he does offer something different when he doesn't dally on the ball.

Shaqiri, difficult one as ed says he was good at the start then Klopp got frustrated with him but apparently now he is firing on all cylinders, so we shall see he is a useful option but if we can get a decent return then maybe.

I am assuming we will look to bring someone in, to help cover the front line as well as we are severly short up front for back up/ other options.

Brewster is looking sharp in training and i have high hopes for him but sturridge is gone.

The Juicer I see you have watched Helix haha
Anyway I can’t see city ever selling any of their first team players to us especially Sane.
