I have been told that LFC have taken a look at an FC Borneo player by the name of Terens Puhini, it was said that this is with a view to loaning him out to a European side. This all sounds a little far fetched to me, however I thought I would share, as this is a rumours site, any feedback on whether it has legs (highly unlikely I am sure) would be appreciated.

Thanks as always, wishing all a good day.

MM, ok I'll bite.
I just looked him up on the beloved Youtube and he is fast for a small guy but I'll give him one thing, he plays with his head up and doesn't just hoof it.

The pitches he plays on are like farm yards an he seems too handle that well which is good the quality of that league though would need a huge step up from him, he is like sh*t of a shovel though, would b boss too get a little hidden gem though bit of klopp magic dust on him an ya never know, could b the next big thing, think he would have too get experience in Europe though .

I would suspect a WP would be an issue.

I'm 43, completely out of shape and could still walk into most Malaysian teams. The standard out here is shocking.

Hi Eds, have we actually enquired about Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge? I remember Ed002 stating that he was not the best option for us as we could do far better for a similar price.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I don't know of any enquiry from us, though there has been a few Prem clubs that have enquired, I don't know for sure which ones.}

Ed001 do you think he would be a decent backup option for Alisson or should we be looking elsewhere? Anyone you think we could bring in if Migs were to leave?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he is alright, but I would have worries about any player that chooses to miss out on his nation's only ever appearance at the confederation championships to play a couple of Prem games. Clearly money is more important to him than the chance to make history.}

Not sure on him, given how many they conceded and don’t remember him pulling of worldies every game. Surely there is better options out there?

Surely the problem is whoever comes in knows he is going to be very very unlikely to play often at all, apart from maybe a few cup games, can't see anyone young of any real quality wanting to make that move for anything other than money.

Could Buffon be an option at all? He’s leaving PSG isn’t he?

the reason he skipped the Confederation Championship was to attempt to save Cardiff from relegation.

Isn't Buffon staying for at least one more season at PSG? I'd love it if we could pick him up on a 'free' as a backup keeper, but if I remember correctly, one of the reasons he moved to PSG was that he was promised to be first choice, so I'm not sure how willing he'd be to come and sit on our bench.

To be fair Ed you've always maintained International football is a waste of time.

{Ed001's Note - yes, for me to watch. If I have the chance to play in it then it would be the peak and show I have been one of the best 23 players from that country. That is not to forget this is likely to be the only time you ever get the chance to play in a major tournament for your country as well.}

I took that as the total opposite Ed!

I commend him for prioritising Cardiff in the relegation battle to stay in the premier league over his own ambitions to play internationally.

I guess we will never know for sure.

I have it on good authority that liverpool are having a look at van der beek with a view to signing him.

Would be a good signing, any chance eds? I assume this would drop keita down the pecking order.

Not happening we have 4 midfielders who already do the same job as he would unless someone is leaving, wat we need is a proper creative attack minded midfielder who will also graft also, first person who springs too mind is bruno Fernandes wat a signing he would be, then there's fekir, maddison possibly ziyech, if coutinho made a public apology and done lots of grovelling I would honestly have him back .

Bit late to be having a look at him isn’t it? What a couple of national games which he may not even play in?
