Hello Ed's
Whats the position with Benat, does he have a release clause and are Liverpool interested? Either in January or Summer.
Cheers, Wez {Ed002's Note - If Benat moves in January then Atletico Madrid might by an option. CSKA, Arsenal and Wolfsburg have shown some interest in him. Txiki Begiristain has, as reported, an interest in taking him to Manchester City. It is beginning to look like the summer would be more likely.}

Hi Ed my friend who I went school with got a cousin that works at liverpool and was told that Sahin is not going no where and will be playing this weekend FA cup. He also was told that Sahin was out of action due to hes broken nose like we all knew, Sahin will be given a chance to play in he's position as well.She told him also that BR is very unlikely to be bring in anyone else and if so it will be only one more player. The money will be there for him to spend in summer. ED could you pls confirm if any of this is true ?

Thanks Mate LFC for life ... {Ed002's Note - Well it is your cousin says it is true who am I to question that.}

04 Jan 2013 18:48:43
Hi Ed002, Hope everything's going well for you. I saw u suggested a "play maker or a No:10" might be a target for Summer and Rodgers too indicated it. I know Summer is still long way to go, but based on our interest and scouting could you try to guess some targets we are seeking please. Thanks

AJ {Ed002's Note - Without the "playmaker" or "number x" tag, Galatasaray's Selcuk Inan has been interesting Liverpool.}

That's great news Ed! Inan is some player would love to see him arrive, any chance this window?

Chris in Tamworth {Ed052's Note - not likely this window. He's far more likely to move in the summerA}

Selcuk Inan. How much would he cost ?
He is very good.

04 Jan 2013 23:25:42
Thanks Ed002 and ED52 - my question was going to be timescales - sounds like this is a mid-term target. I always worry that when these stories come out we just alert our rivals (Spurs). {Ed002's Note - In which case we will say nothing. It is our secret.}

04 Jan 2013 22:41:30
We are close to signing the centreback Nicolas Isimat Mirin. Coates might leave on loan.

Tito

04 Jan 2013 21:18:16
Liverpool have offered Danny Wilson in exchange on top of the £4mil offer to ensure Tom Ince is signed in this transfer window. Blackpool have enquired about Suso and Pacheco's availability on loan also. No deal as of yet.

Red Fred

04 Jan 2013 21:22:27
is there something with ur head suso is better than ince .

Be a bit difficult to offer Wilson being as he is on loan at Bristol City.

Hi guys just thought I'd let yous know the echo reporting that Rodgers is looking at Micah Richards

Dangerous dave

No theyre not

Get tomorrows echo then when it comes out and eat some humble pie booooom

And I'm looking at Emma Watson but she won't date me!

The Plank

Got the Echo. And I repeat, No theyre not boom boom.

04 Jan 2013 19:57:54
Jack robinson is going on loan to blackpool for 6 months no relation to ince deal i would not think

Why r we still doing deals with blackpool! they held us to ransom over chalie adam, and r now doing it with tom ince, who they got from us for hardly anything lol we need to stop doing any business with this club!

With Jose out it seems strange to loan out our next best left back after Johnson, unless it's a sweetener for the Ince deal. If its true it'll be good for Robbo

That is a bad move considering Enrique injury.

04 Jan 2013 21:54:34
With enrique out for 6 weeks I can't see Robinson going on loan as suggested by someone. That makes no sense.

Why do we have continued deals with Blackpool? They seem to play hard ball with deals (Thomas ince) but we've been sending them out talented youth players in past seasons. {Ed002's Note - Not unreasonably they want the best deal they can get. Would Liverpool sell Suarez cheaply to Real Madrid because Sahin had been on loan?}

04 Jan 2013 19:16:18
Apparently Liverpool are interested in Quaresma if he is willing to take a pay cut, plus change his attitude, however this is as back up to Thomas Ince who would be the preferred choice as a winger to be brought in.
4million or a free, dont expect big money signings people.
You heard it here first

No we didnt, we've heard it loads of times!!

mati.d

First ? folks have been saying this for weeks.

We heard it here first, or from the eds for ages

ste

Not convinced by Ince personally as we have a host of good young wingers and if he does not get in the first team his old man will start whining again.

You mean, all they asked him to change his attitude and he said "ok" like a two year old?

Take a pay cut?! isnt he out of a job at the minute?

04 Jan 2013 18:40:28
Hi eds... Just a quick one.... 1 more signing this jan and maybe 2 loan deals if agreed by the clubs involved..! That'll be all from LFC.

Red bird

We can only have two loan deals I believe. And we already have sahin

Thought we were only allowed 2 loans and we have sahin

04 Jan 2013 17:34:44
Ken Aguero is tweeting that Jack Robinson may be going on loan to a north west club. RED LENIN

When did he?

Aguero? I'll have him

Lol !!!!!!

Good News!

Tommorow will be offical annoucement about Kevin Gameiro.

He is coming on loan for 6 months.

Eds please post it's true and you will see it tommorow.

Greetz

Can't see it personally. Never know though.

How sure are you about this? Also how do you know about it?

Mighty reds

We'll be waiting to see if you knew anything or if you're just a balloon.

The Plank

That a lie and torres is never coming back to liverpool we have not got 22 mil or 15mil

04 Jan 2013 17:50:20
A player signing announcement on a Saturday?

Well it seems to be quite close from what I've heard. Personally I think it will go ahead sometime next week maybe end of weekend.

M

Rodgers said we won't do anymore business

Won't happen you watch

With Joe Cole leaving and Adam morgan going on loan I assume we should have one more frontman. Gameiro is the type of players we have been looking for.

04 Jan 2013 16:56:28
Hi eds fellow reds, firstly I'm not here to get slated or saying I'm ITK, was at work earlier and a mate was on twitter and he showed me a rumour from someone claiming to be ITK, and it said that we have inquired about Torres, chelsea have put a 22 million tag on him and we won't go higher than 15. It also says Torres is keen on the idea and wants it to happen? I'm not sure how true that is, but if true I'd be 50/50 on a return, would just like to hear if anyone else has seen or heard this, and there thoughts and maybe from the eds too?

Gaz

Torres will not be returning to LFC as a player. Twitter is an easy way of spreading rumours and instantly you will get replies. By all means SOME maybe true but 95 times out of 100 (im being kind) they are not.........People just want to feel noticed.......its better to ignore them. #twits

Thanks

Kam

04 Jan 2013 17:28:14
It's not much of a rumour, is it? He wants to come back but we're not prepared to pay the asking price? How about my rumour: Rodgers would like Messi but apparently he's not interested.

It has been proved that 95% of Twitter football rumours are false.

Gaz, you need to have a word with your mate.
Why would Liverpool sign Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea for 12 million and then go and buy the very player who's keeping him out of the team at Chelsea for 15 million.

It makes Liverpool and Sturridge out to be complete morons!

Never going to happen, but like a few others I'd love it to be true to see him a) eat humble pie b) score goals again.

It's funny you ask if anyone has heard this? Well, I don't wish to stoke the fire but I have heard this also.

Every transfer window since he left.

The law of averages suggest that sooner or later, given enough transfer windows, you will be right flower. So keep it up.

From LFC.com

The Reds have already strengthened their attacking ranks with the early signing of England international Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea.

But asked about any further business at his pre-Mansfield press conference, Rodgers told reporters: "We are not going to have a lot of money to do anything [else] in the window.

"We won't have that in January. There might be another but there is not much more business to be done."

{Ed002's Note - This should not be a surprise to you. You have been told this for months.}

Very worrying this lack of investment in the playing staff. Please don't harp on about Kenny's spending, that is history. Owning a football club means spending some of your own money. It not, don't buy one.

Ed's was just providing info for everybody else and have known that 1 or possibly 2 signings would be coming in this window.

Sturridge will be our only signing sadly

Clever Rodgers. Watch we'll get Sneijder on deadline day

Villa, Butland, Sneijder deadline day

I think gameiro on loan as wages have been freed up and mayb ince

No chance of Messi then?

Absolutely agree with the editor on this one I have said for a long time that FSG do NOT posses the funds to take LFC forward. The Ince deal has collapsed too due to no money.

04 Jan 2013 20:22:59
Are people really that annoyed that we haven't purchase Ince yet due to lack of funds? I certainly ain't as I think it could be an awful waste of money.. I'm not sold on the chap..

Until the appeals by hicks and gillet are finalised I can understand why FSG are reluctant to invest much. BY next window this should be cleared up and we'll see some more movement. Personally I'm fairly happy with the team, yea we could do with some more though I still like seeing the youth given a go!

It's all just a smokescreen ;-)

And who says its all FSC. Rodgers knows where he wants to strengthen the squad, he knows where the problems are, but he also knows what he is prepared to pay, and what those players will cost in January.

We arent that far from having a very decent side although obviously we seriously lack in depth. With Borini back we are back up to three strikers, yeh, bit short at the back, but nothing that has to be sorted out in January.

04 Jan 2013 16:44:33
Theres a lot of talk in the Belgian and Dutch press that Alderweireld will move on in this transfer window. I know it was originally thought that Arsenal was the likely target in the summer to replace Gallas, but Liverpool now being mentioned over there.
Dim {Ed002's Note - I said Spurs as a replacement for Gallas. If Liverpool are being mentioned it will mean the sale of a centre back.}

As far as im aware ed its still spurs!

Don't believe a word of it.. It's a smokescreen guy's to stop our rivals from hijacking our targets!

Brad from the USA

Don't we need a replacement for Carra (from next season)?

Sorry, i had brain drain, i meant spurs.
I assumed it would be Spurs as well, but a few Dutch friends telling me the story over there is possibly Liverpool.
I doubt it also..

04 Jan 2013 16:33:41
I have got give a BIG shout out to all the EDS what run the Liverpool rumors, as of all ways you're spot on with the latest news and putting to bed any gossip. Brendon rogers has clearly stated in his press conference before that there may be 1 more in before the window closes ans as well know its Ince, ( AS THE EDS HAVE CLEARLY BEEN STATING THE LAST MONTH OR SO NOW) so from now am not listening to any other players names mentioned as there is no truth in it what so ever, and as all ways i will be logging on to this website every day still to get the latest views from all the EDS, thank you for such a great website!!

CHESTER LION

Thats no the complete truth though if we do buy another player and then someone else comes on the market who will improve our squad do you not think br will put a bid in if the owners agree to back him which im sure they would

When he managed Spurs 'Appy Harry always [ during the transfer window ] would tell reporters "Nah nah ain't signing anyone" and then right away sign a player or two.If the right player becomes available at the right price or as a loan I have no doubt BR will approach the owners for permission to sign the guy.

The Plank

Why so sure it will be Ince? BR said there was no progress with him.
CR

Won't be Ince. Gramiero or Sneijder

05 Jan 2013 00:05:52
Well said Chester lion I totally concur. These eds and that Macca chap do a fantastic job entertaining and informing us fellow reds! Much love to them and yourself from a fellow Cestrian red!

04 Jan 2013 16:28:26
br stated that there is no more money, the money we spend on sturridge was there from last window.
We bought yesil/borini expecting them to grow and get better we should not buy another striker.
quates/downing/sahin will leave and carra will retire.
if we get some real quality in for those players we will be a force again.
quates/downing/caroll money will come in so money should be availible in summer + what fsg can spend.
i just dont see the need for us now to get another striker in, i rather try to buy erikson for the future this kid is the real deal.
and we have 2 great players sinclair and ibi both attackers they are future stars, another reason not to spend the money.
we are not that far off

FSG spend?? I nearly fell over from shock at such a remote idea.
FSG = For Self Gain or Friends of Shylock Group. Take your pick.

Downing shouldnt be sold in current form

04 Jan 2013 18:49:48
We are a million miles away, take off those rose tinted glasses! We need to spend big in the summer on a new left back, winger, playmaker and replacements for who leave in the summer, e.g downing, coates, maybe even, reina, henderson and suarez! Gonna be a while before we are back with the big boys i'm afraid! Till then let's keep supporting our boys and hope we can maintain a little consistancy and string a few results together from now till the end of the season!
Hardy1892 ynwa

To the lad above am not the biggest fan on FSG but if you actually take time to look you will realise that they have been one of the biggest spenders out of the owners in the prem since they took over, after damiens 100 million boys would you be so keen to part with cash? januarys an awful market full of high price tags 5TIMES

04 Jan 2013 16:11:04
hey ed's quick question, I remember us having some interest in negredo (possibly last jan?).

Just seen that sevilla have turned down a £13 million bid for him. After spending over 12 on sturridge, I can't see it being liverpool. any idea who it could have been? and is there still any known interest from us? {Ed002's Note - It was not Liverpool. Sevilla's Negredo could be sold if a significant bid is made for the player. Chelsea had representation at an early December match against Espanyol in Barcelona although I understand Negredo only played for part of the game. They retruned to watch him again in the match with Real Sociedad before the holidays and have declared their interest in striking a deal for the player. There is also a chance that Arsenal may look to Negredo as an alternative to Adrian Lopez to avoid becoming involved with any "bidding war" with another club.}

He is going to Chelsea

04 Jan 2013 16:10:24
Eds,

Do you know or are aware if Brendan is looking signing any overseas players on pre-contracts for the summer? As he has freed up some wages so far...and has said he isn't looking to add any this window...

Cheers eds
,
Ray {Ed002's Note - I would put aside all of these ideas about saving wages. At present, I am not aware of Liverpool looking to players on pre-contract agreements but it is certainly not out of the question.}

Cheers ed, will look forward to receiving more updates

Ray

04 Jan 2013 15:59:10
Alright Reds and Eds, I heard a rumour that Chelsea are looking at Lucas as some sort of replacement for Lampard. Do you think there is anything in this or is it just coz Rafa is managing Chelsea now a d he signed him for Liverpool? {Ed002's Note - I know nothing of it.}

Lucas is about 15 goals a season short of being a replacement for Lampard! SJB

Even if this is true lucas will not leave lfc for any other english club not unless he is forced out. money is not his motivation and plus he loves the lfc fans dont mistake him for a torres or meireles

Lucas will never leave us unless he is forced out like Alonso was, I firmly believe had Rafa not treated him so harshly trying to offload him to Juve 1st and then eventually to Real, he would still be here, the club like Lucas is in his heart, couple that with the fact that Brendan is full of praise of him, his attitude, hard worker and a team player, Lucas is goin nowhere!!!!

In terms of type of player Lucas and Lampard are totally different and you couldn't possibly talk about Lucas as a replacement for Lampard.

The Plank

I'd take Lucas for Lampard and 5m

Swap for Lampard?

Lucas out. Lampard in.

I didn't mean a direct replacement. I know Lucas doesn't score very many for us. I meant replacement in the squad, chelski have players there that can play in lampards position. Top an bottom is, it was a rumour I'd heard. I honestly don't think he would leave for the same reasons as the other posters.

04 Jan 2013 15:58:45
Happy new year all. Reds still targeting loan deal for villa with a view to buy in summer if he can prove his fitness. P.s. I wish the negative people will give the owners and manager a chance

How about the negative owners giving the manager and the fans a chance?

And how does Villa prove his fittness in time to be signed by Liverpool before the window closes? On a loan he might well be worth a half a season try out but his club have clearly said they will only sell him not loan him.

The Plank

Should have give Kenny Dalglish a chance

Well why don't we just get Villa then

04 Jan 2013 19:09:17
What price would you let Lucas go at? I think he's a £20 mil player right now and worth more to Liverpool as he's so pivotable to the team - plus it's hard for us to go out and sign a player of his quality without the draw of CL - or a huge wage.

Think someone would need to bid £35 mil (or seriously unsettle him) to shake him loose.

04 Jan 2013 15:45:47
SSN have said that Rodgers expects no more deals truth or speculation ??

Mind game with Blackpool... Would be interested to see who wins.

They have simply watched his press conference. He said there was a possibility of someone else but that he was happy with what he has.
CR

BR also expected to sign Dempsey before the end of the last transfer window! Perhaps it'll work the other way this window?!

Leffeman101

04 Jan 2013 15:39:19
hi eds is pacheco and coates likely to leave if so how much or is it a loan? dont think its fair as they havent really had a fair chance! {Ed002's Note - Both could leave.}

Both will leave

Everyone gets a chance in training and ressies. Pacheco hasn't performed since he was 17 and Coates hasn't impressed BR much. Same goes for Wilson and Gulacsi.

Coates has been rubbish, i hoped hed be our new centre back but it wasnt to be

04 Jan 2013 15:38:48
Hey eds, any legs on the Goal story about Liverpool making a move for Holtby, but him favoring Spurs?

Drigan {Ed002's Note - I would not expect Holtby to be moving to Liverpool.}

He's signed a pre-contract with spurs. Confirmed on their website.

AZ

He has agreed to join spurs! another player we missed out on! getting sick of this {Ed002's Note - There will be hundreds of players sold this window - expect Liverpool to miss out on all but a couple.}

Apparently hes now signed precontract to sign for SPurs in July.

Spurs have signed him lads :(

Hes signed for spurs will arrive in the summer gutted thou

Are we now scouting for Spurs too

Holtby has agreed to join Spurs in the summer

"Another player we've missed out on" comes the same old cry! We can't sign them all and maybe we had no interest in him and just as likely he had no interest in joining us.I know it's incredible but not every player wants to sign for Liverpool.

The Plank

Holtby has joined spurs great signing

Well at least we didn't miss out on our main target Sturridge

Does add fuel to the delightfully paranoid fire that Spurs use this page as their scouting tool, however...!

Dr S. Atire.

04 Jan 2013 15:25:48
Hi EDS, just a few things i want to put out there, just wondering if you could shed any light on it? .... with Demba Ba moving to Chelsea and Chamak looks likely to go to west ham on loan, do you think Newcastle will try and bid for Carrol, i know Carrol is on a season long loan, but apparently west ham may send him back, i basically wanted to know do you think there is any chance that may happen or will Carrol stay at west ham till the summer? {Ed002's Note - No, Newcastle have other targets right now.}

Good question though, I had wondered myself.

Mark

Pardew has asked for power and pace. And we all know Andy lacks pace :(

I suspect we will get him back at the end of the season and then try to sell him again.
CR

Chamakh we should have got

No player can register for more than 2 pl teams in a season so he cannot be sold to another pl team also he is currently recovering from an injury just back doing light training ..
as it stands a/c has one goal to his name if he does not get 10/15 a season he aint worth 15mill to us although we have first option to buy at the set price subject to west ham and andy carroll reaching a deal ie wages west ham will expect him to drop his wage demands to around about 40/45 a week which i suspect he will not do his heart is set on returning to newcastle

04 Jan 2013 14:31:56
Liverpool have made the first move for Holtby.

Well if Liverpool are on a cost cutting mission they should really push for this lad looks a good player and they should get rid of doni, Pacheco, Carroll and sahin ASAP save wages and receive transfer fees to put towards holtby in the summer and gameiro also

Doubt it as Brendon rogers has not long said there may be 1 more signing and that will be it more than likely so am thinking its ince,

Holtby has revealed he wanna join spurs.

The player clearly favours a move to Spurs... If LFC can pull this one off, the club clearly has someone who knows how to talk

Hes going to spurs!

Would love holtby and Micah Richards good players that can play in various positions Rodgers type players

He has signed for the Mighty THFC subject to a medical.

What you thought was yours is now ours !

Much love

Holtby is a bluenose, I doubt he would join us hence his preferred move to spurs

Spurs have come to an agreement with Holtby and he will join them on a free in the summer

He's officially joining spurs at the end of the season

Strange that because a website just announced Lewis holtby to join spurs

MIGHTY THFC ??? Cant say ive ever that one before..

04 Jan 2013 17:37:08
Is this post why people think we've 'missed out' on him? Plus, to the person who doesn't want Holtby because he's a bluenose - some of the best Liverpool players in our recent history have been Everton fans. Rush, Mcmanaman, Fowler, Owen, Carragher....

Clearly Spurs made the 1st move for Holtby since he's signed for them.

The Plank

He has gone to spurs

Look at he has joined spurs

Not Richards

04 Jan 2013 13:26:01
Hi Ed002,
will Liverpool try to sign Lescott as Coates (loan in Jan) and Carra (retire) may be out soon? thanks {Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think so.}

Lescott is awful

Miccah richards and vargas rumours apparently

I would be disappointed to see us lose a quality young player like Coates. We are still in 3 comps and could need the cover.
CR

Rather go for Matthew Upson

Why should Carragher retire? Injury to Agger or Skrtel?

04 Jan 2013 13:08:43
The Walcott rumours seem to be dying down and I'm not too surprised. I just can't see him leaving Arsenal.

I think Ince is a cheaper version, and he is being pursued as Walcott is very likely to kiss and make up with Arsenal and sign a new deal.

I don't know much about the striker from PSG we are linked with to be honest, but a six month loan makes more sense than buying him. Not sure how many forward players the squad needs beyond -

Suarez
Borini
Sturridge
Sterling
Downing
Suso
Assaidi

add to that the youngsters like Morgan and Ngoo etc

plus those you can and have played there such as Shelvey, Gerrard and Enrique.

I'm encouraged by recent form and can see the squad and team coming together.

Why do all of you keep forgetting YESIL, this lad is the future!!!

Morgan has gone on load to rottheram.

JD

Out of all those players listed, bar Suarez and maybe Sturridge, do you honestly see goals coming from any of them? Coz I don't. You need strikers who can guarantee goals like David Villa. I know his age and price will put us off but that is the calibre of players we need otherwise I cant see much changing tbh.
Dani

Kevin Gameiro is a good player mate, steady progression in france so i would say prem ready. Ignore the psg stats as he was treated unfairly imo. Permanent deal is low risk. Id say he offers more than sturridge: bet
ter finisher by far + quick too
Bren

I agree. Only Suarez and sturridge have come up with the goals out of that lot. sterling is still very lacking in end product. I am sure it will come, but unlikely to help us make the jump to light speed required for a top 4 finish. Sturridge might do it and give more space to Suarez and the rest. However, I feel another striker is important. Ba would have done it. Perhaps this gameiro lad is it. Perhaps bent will do too. Get another striker in and sneijder might even be tempted.
Disco erleichda

We as a team are getting more confident, we have won 5 out of our last 7 in the league so im feeling confident going into the second half of the season assaidi could be like a new signing when he comes back from the africa cup, mark

Downing really? foward player ? naa

Assaidi not good enough, suso is a creative midfield. Downing will ne sold in summer hes a winger not a firward. Leaves sturridge suarez borini sterling another 2 in summer along with goalscoring creative midfirld and a rb to play johnson lb. personally i hope we just buy three 15m players in summer than a mixture because we need stars now no players that are jist good enough. Look no further meertens, soldado, benat, rb-10m. Talking 60m but this is what we need 1 great player than 2 average, time u sell carrol downing assaidi henderson . At least 40m spent

Downing is not a striker

There all wingers? there not forwards / strikers actually the only one that can play in that role is sturridge and suarez

In that list there are only two good strikers

Suarez and Sturridge are only two good strikers

Villa is better than Gramiero

Eds just a quick one. Harry has said snieders agent is offering him around.a) do you think he ll move? B) where are the most likely destinations?

Cheers timo {Ed002's Note - The Sneijder to Liverpool story comes from an Italian source speculating that Liverpool would be willing to pay Inter 10M euros for Sneijder and the player 240k eruos (a little over £200k) per week to give him 120M euros per week net. This was seemingly added to Twitter by a "journalist" that summarises current rumours on hs Twitter account. I have no confirmation if it is true that Liverpool has approached Inter (or more likely Sneijder's agent) at this time - but suspect that if anything could happen there would need to be very significant movement over his wage demands. The Sneijder to Spurs story comes from a journalist speculating that a sale, not a loan, to Spurs may be possible - but I have no confirmation that it is true at this time. If a move for Moutinho cannot be put together by Spurs - most probably due to financial constraints - an approach to Sneijder does make sense. PSG and Fenerbhace remain two most likely destinations for Sneijder at this time although Schalke 04 have been packaging up an ambitious bid and Bayern Munich has been, I understand, discussing the player in-house. Anzhi and Spartak Moscow retain an interest in him but chances of a move to Russia seem to be near zero. I don't know of any remaining interest from Manchester United. There is a very slim chance that he could make a surprise move somewhere else and discussions have been held with a club on a different continent, but I would supect that is something for the future.}

120M net a week. Best contract ever :-)

Im worried that we will end up with sneijder. its not good for team moral signing a player that makes demands for wages alot off players take it to heart as a lack off respect. his obviously not the player he was otherwise he wouldnt be up for sale. we create chances infact we are second in the prem for chances created just behind city. we should stay clear off the guy and look for players under the age off 22 in my opinion. cheaper wages and its investment.

It sounds like he wants London to me.

DaveyBootle

Harry has even said deal is unlikely

B) Liverpool

Sneijder will be our new number ten

04 Jan 2013 11:34:44
Eds,
-with Sturridge joined, do we expect to get another striker? or wing forward? The way I see is Sturridge and Borini will be use upfront, suarez as free role winger and the other one winger is sterling/new signing possibly Ince.

-Are we looking to sign another leftback? or continue to use either downing or glen johnson as LB.

-Is there aany interest from Liverpool on Milan Badelj?

thanx Eds.
Personally i think Sturridge is addition to squad.

Sadammu Toma. {Ed002's Note - There is clearly interest in Ince, and perhaps a player will come in on loan. Left back - there is also Enrique and Robinson. Badelj only moved in the sumemr - he will not be moving to Liverpool in January.}

Borini won't get on bench

04 Jan 2013 11:25:49
Hey Eds Has Quaresma joined Porto?? And does that mean that Liverpool will have to get Ince now? {Ed002's Note - Whatever happens with Quaresma has nothing to do with Ince.}

Is there any interest in Quaresma eds? {Ed002's Note - Quaresma has struggled somewhat since leaving Porto where much was expected of him when he was younger. Since leaving Porto he has been much lower profile and has had a number of clubs but not really settled. As he has had his contract with Besiktas cancelled he is a free agent and will probably be heading back to the Iberian peninsula - I will take a shot at saying with Porto.}

I'd love Quaresma. He is like Ronaldo

04 Jan 2013 11:07:35
I have heard we are in for French Left-back Massaidi Haidara.Can any Eds confirm or deny this?

P Pants {Ed002's Note - Nancy's Massaidi Haidara was considered by Newcastle and Aston Villa. Lille are expected to show interest if they are to lose Digne.}

04 Jan 2013 10:53:19
fellow eds, after it's rumoured that Xabi Alonso might leave Madrid sooner rather than later how do you rate our chances to go for him instead of Chelsea with Rafa & Torres being there and Lampard obviously being gone comes summer? appreciate your response {Ed002's Note - I don't see Alonso moving to Liverpool in January.}

As has been pointed out Rafa got shut of Alonso in an effort to sign Gareth Barry so why would he want to play again for the man who drove him away.As for signing for us again please let this rumour dry up and blow away.He's 31 turned, on big wages at Real, isn't anywhere near out of contract and would attract a serious fee, as well as being happily settled in his native country with his family.I agree with the ed and we won't be signing him.

The Plank

He might as he won't go to any other premierleague team he said he will consider a move back to Liverpool his agents said to be in talks with Liverpool of a two year deal

Why would Alonso play for the manager who couldn't get rid of him quich enough to try and fund/make room for Barry?

Alonso is a fabulous player but don't get your hopes up, and where would he play, Mr Opta won't get dropped and Gerrard would sulk because the best passer of the ball we have ever had would show him how dictating the tempo from midfield really was done.

Why would Alonso move to Chelsea because Rafa's there? If anything I would have thought that Rafa's involvement with Chelsea would only further inhibit any chance of Xabi moving there. Rafa was, after all, trying to move him out in order to purchase Gareth Barry.

I dnt reckon xabi will go to chelsea because rafa reason xabi left lfc cum back home xabi

Ed002 you said you don't see Alonso moving to Liverpool In January. Does that mean you could see it in the summer? Can I have a proper answer, instead of the usual fob off, please.

04 Jan 2013 17:46:46
possible deal with Real Madrid, Alonso coming in and Gerrard going the other way. Carragher to take up coaching role at the end of the season.

Rafa sold Alonso. Alonso will come back o LFC

04 Jan 2013 10:49:47
Eds any interest in Diego Perotti, Turan won't be moving anywhere and he will cost close to £17m, Perotti is available, 24 yrs old, plays as a winger mainly on the Left but can also operate on the Right and has pace, trickery and eye for goal and would cost around £8m - £10m.

BigD {Ed002's Note - There was interest in the past but there is nothing right now we know of.}

04 Jan 2013 10:44:58
Eds are we interested in arda turan I know he would love to sign and I would love him here? Also when does his contract run out? (The search function doesn't seem to be working on my ipad for some reason so I can't look back) {Ed002's Note - Arda was certainly looked at by Liverpool but clearly those that were in control of transfers did not progress any initial interest. Eventually he moved to Spain. We knew very early on that he would be leaving Galatasaray for Atletico Madrid once money had been freed up through the sale of Aguero - although there was strong interest from elsewhere. Arda Turan will most likely move this coming summer subject to a suitable bid being made - something in the order of £18M-£20M. The likely destinations are England and Italy although there remains a chance that previous German interest will still be there and an outside chance of a return to Turkey. Atletico Madrid have already rejected a move from Schalke saying they do not want to sell in January.}

04 Jan 2013 11:06:59
Hatem Ben Arfa to Liverpool 8m

You mean you'd like us to sign him for £8 million? Or he is going to sign for us? At least give us some idea where you're coming from and what your source is.

The Plank

04 Jan 2013 12:05:14
they should not get him

We could give them Carroll in exchange for him, and whilst we're in dream land we have cabaye as well!

Yeah and messi will sign on a free don't be so stupid

04 Jan 2013 10:30:21
Hey eds.
With Cole gone what does this actually mean financially and squad wise.

Because of speculation of nuri leaving too. Doesn't that leave the midfield a tiny bit thin ? {Ed002's Note - Trying to explain the Cole finances has already failed so we want to avoid going back there. Obviously it leaves the squad short a squad player. For now, Sahin is a separate matter.}

Shelvey, suso, henderson, gerrard, lucas and allen? and the midfield would be bare?

04 Jan 2013 16:00:27
Apparently Cole's move will save LFC about 3 million in wages

Doesn't leave the squad thin at all, he would have to have contributed something for that to happen, means more game time for a youngster and frees wages!

04 Jan 2013 10:30:18
Have been told that we can re-sign Xabi Alonso this January window, for a fee of 6 million, however if we wait until the summer, we can have him for free. I'd say just pay the 6 million and we can have him for the remainder of this season too, would be very beneficial, hope it's true!

Youthy {Ed002's Note - Alonso is not out of contract in the summer.}

Why would we want Alonso when we already have

Henderson Lucas Gerrard

Allen Sahin Shelvey

The eds have repeatedly said [ and they're correct ] that Alonso is NOT out of contract at the end of this season. I'm sick to death of this false rumour and he won't be joining us at his age and the cost of transfer fee and wages as long as FSG hold the purse strings.

The Plank

Alonso come home!

04 Jan 2013 10:20:58
Ince due to hand in transfer request this morning in hope of a Liverpool return, expect deal to be done by Monday.

Does anyone know if he is out of contract in the summer ? {Ed002's Note - I think he may be.}

04 Jan 2013 10:17:54
Hi eds,

Any chance we could make a move for Diame. He has a cheap get out clause and if we loose Sahin we might be a bit light in midfield if we get injuries or suspensions.

Thanks,

Red raj {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any interest from Liverpool.}

Don't think that would happen but it would be great, he tore us apart earlier in the season.

Would be a great signing that

I think if sahin goes we'll henderson to cover lucas, shelvey to cover allen and for suso to move back to his natural position and cover CAM when gerrards out were overloaded on wings now so he hasno place

Diame is a monster in midfield

Henderson is better than Allen

04 Jan 2013 10:06:26
Do we know when borini and kelly will be fit, if not for a cople of months i hope we can sign some cover as i feel 4th spot is up for grabs for about 5 teams at the moment and we need to be as strong in every position as possible to scrape 4th {Ed002's Note - Borini will probably be ready in a coupel of weeks. Kelly in March.}

04 Jan 2013 10:34:08
I for one will be very sad if coates is alowed to leave the club, hes one of the most promicing CB in world football and we cant manage to give him some premiership matches ? Agger and Skrtel are getting bullied by AV and Stokes attacks and still hes sitting on the bench. Fair enough if we were rock tight at the back but we aint.. :( real shame

Kelly in March? I thought in January

04 Jan 2013 09:42:50
Hi eds. rumour has it we are going to try and loan Scott Sinclair for the rest of the season. What do you think {Ed002's Note - Nope.}

04 jan 2013 09:36:50
eds - is zidanes son due to have a trial with us?..watched a few clips of him a couple of years ago and looked like his father the great zinedine but doesnt seem to have done anything for rm

easyd {Ed002's Note - I really know nothing of it.}

Yes he is having a trial this Feb. Ed036 confirmed it. See it on Player Profiles- Liverpool Transfer Talk.

04 Jan 2013 09:35:34
How come liverpool have got a habbit of missing out on players for example we say building for future why aremt we looking to save money if thats what its all about when holtby rodgers type player is on a free uv got moussa sissoko on a free someone weve looked at for years and were going to pay money for..

Surely aswel as january we should be looking for free transfers for summer these players would fit in we need a sissoko type swuad player powerful in midfield. I just cant understand our ways i really dont

Free Transfers are not free Transfers as most the time you need to give the player a signing on fee, Look at how well a free transfer worked out for us in the form of Joe Cole we are paying for him to leave!

Just because they are free or coming free in the summer, dosent mean they wont cost.
Also, perhaps these players want Chps. Lge football - something we just can't offer at the minute . Liverpool can't just buy who they want.

You are SO wrong it doesn't warrant trying to explain ... just think about how well the 'FREE' acquisition of Joe Cole went and then rethink your statement.

I'm struggling to think of any free transfers that have worked for us or anyone else for that matter.

I love hearing about all the great players we've missed out on.I recall Arsenal signing Chamahk on a free and the wailing on here that we'd missed out on a star.In fact he's garbage!Connor Wickham was described as "A future England star we've missed out on"! by a poster on here and he's scored 1 goal in the last 14 months.Scott Dann was going to be a super star and who is trying to sign him nowadays?I could go on and on with more names but mainly we've not missed out on much.

The Plank

Forgot about ba to Newcastle ? He was shocking there ..... Only the 13/14 goals this season let alone the previous ones .

04 Jan 2013 09:27:54
Dear eds do liverpool have any interest in Vegard Forren? {Ed002's Note - Molde's Vegard Forren has attracted various degrees of interest from Manchester United, Fulham, Everton and Standard Liege.}

04 Jan 2013 09:26:18
ed when does this transfer window shut please?

thanks {Ed002's Note - Jan 31.}

Why would people click unbelievable?

Good luck joe cole

04 Jan 2013 08:16:55
Hi eds do you know of any interest in Yann M'Vila? {Ed002's Note - Spurs, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Newcastle, QPR, Zenit, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Juventus have all shown a interest in M'Vila over the past year and it was thought that perhaps even PSG and Barcelona would become interested as well - although the well publicized issues have probably put pay to that. However, he was there for the taking of Arsenal should they make an offer that is acceptable to Rennes but his recent issues with his National coach has made Arsenal think again. Spurs put an offer on the table - a 15M euro bid which was rejected, something Rennes now regrets. Zenit is another club who remain interested and QPR would look to attract him to London. If he were to be available to move this winter, there is going to be no shortage of interest but I suspect he would still be happy with a move to Arsenal.}

Any club signing this nutter would be taking a real risk ........ fabulous player though, with the potential to be world class .

He is trouble

04 Jan 2013 08:13:02
Pato left ac Milan for 15 million and people say you don't get good value in Jan window, carnt believe prem teams missed this he would av been great for lfc {Ed002's Note - He did not want to move to England.}

He's always injured mate. Last thing we want is a player on big wages who sits in the stands a la Joe Cole.

Please tell me. WHAT HAS PATO EVER DONE? NAME ONE GOOD SEASON OR GAME HE HAS HAD FOR MILAN.,

15million for a fella who has been injured constantly the past two seasons is risky business in my opinion. On top of that he has been out of form when fit and shows no signs of improving - in addition to that he has some off the field issues (in the vein of Ronaldo/Ronldinho) so to be honest, despite his talent, I'm glad we never even bothered.

To the second poster: his first couple of seasons in Milan were spectacular (he was only 19-20 at the time) - he had pace, dribbling ability and scored a fair few goals as well. He is not terrible - but he would of been far too much of a risk to pay 15million for.

SMc

He is worse than people make out

Pato? Injury problems and huge wages, sound familiar? Never going to happen.

04 Jan 2013 08:05:08
eds if we let Sahin go, are there any replacement lined up?
Thank You
CLeO {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

Possibly one of : lucas allen henderson shelvey suso gerrard ?

Ed, have we paid a fee for his services? If we shove him back, would this not be a pointless use of cash? {Ed002's Note - THere was a loan fee paid and Liverpool are committed to pay a large percentage of his wages for the season.}

No already have enough central midfielders

04 Jan 2013 07:11:23
i dont know where some of you get your info from on here but iam telling you now that downing or hendo will not be sold. as for anymore players coming in they will only buy if the players price is low. the money is not there at the moment to spend big. so forget about any big names who want big money. them days are over.
sjc

I agree with you here sjc. Hendo and Downing are playing well at the moment aswell. Especially Hendos movement in middle and in front of mid field to out wide. He was v good against Sunderland. Hope he keeps this level against other teams.

Not sure we've spent big for a while, the money from Torres was spent but not much more was it? Also we only got Torres as part of LFC sale to the Cowboys

And where do you get your info from?

04 Jan 2013 04:10:16
Ed, do you think it will be possible for A.Sanchez to leave Barça on loan in this january? I don't expect to see him at Lfc but how about other clubs {Ed002's Note - Attempts to buy Sanchez in the summer were met by a 40M euro asking price although I suspect 30M will be nearer to what will be paid next summer for him. Juventus have very clear targets and a significant budget to buy a player to play off their main striker. They have identified three possible players - Sanchez is one, and perhaps the most likely one.}

Is Suarez one of the others? Suarez's market value now has to be quite high especially considering his long term contract. Although I think I did read somewhere that he has a release clause. Is this true if you know?
Looks like they will get llorente on the free so they could splash the cash but I just can't see an Italian team spending that kind of money (I know juve is one of the few teams with healthy finances) well fingers crossed anyway

04 Jan 2013 03:27:14
Ed do you think that all this talk about david villa joining in the late stages of the january transfer window is true? and also is there any potential bids for players coming in? {Ed002's Note - You need to read the posts and use the search function.}

04 Jan 2013 03:26:18
Hi Eds..

Are Liverpool interested in Mario Ballotelli?

PKM {Ed002's Note - No.}

He's rubbish anyway
Matty W

He should not be allowed to play football.i would give everything to be in his position. It's nearly every boys dream to be a professional footballer, millions don't make it.he has and what does he do?
Go away man why would we want that spoilt brat?

So the team is going through a big transition and you get someone in who is massively disruptive. Good one.

Fight between Rodgers and Balotelli

04 Jan 2013 03:13:27
Ed do you think that all this talk about david villa joining in the late stages of the january transfer window is true? and also is there any potential bids for players coming in? {Ed002's Note - Try the search engine please.}

04 Jan 2013 02:19:32
ive been told by a fairly reliable source that xabi alonso has been told he can leave real in january and that we are in talks with a foreign striker's agent right now(Kevin Gamerio)?

Xabi Alonso is coming home

04 Jan 2013 01:40:03
Ed, Do you know of any interest and potential bids that may come for any of our players in this window? {Ed002's Note - Cole will leave. Perhaps Coates. A couple on loan.}

I would be very sad to see Coates move.He is a good CB who seems to be greatly under rated by BR. Only 22 as well I believe.
I am sure he would have had more games were it not for the sentimenal selection of Carra on occasions. Hope he plays this week end.
CR

04 Jan 2013 01:32:58
I do not think that Suarez after his current form should make way for sturridge why upset thinks when it is going fine? Eds could you tell me your opinion, thanks.
Hibsylfc {Ed002's Note - Just think of five or six players all flexible enough to play across a front three. Don't gety too sucked in to teams and formations.}

Don't you watch us play? Suarez doesn't just stay through the middle the front three swap round so Sturridge would be perfect for the way we play!

I agree with Ed002, the main important thing is we have another option which we didn't have all season. I don't care where who plays once we win and move up the table. Suarez will still look to win and score goals regardless of where you put him because he wants to win at all cost.

BR said that you can play 4-3-3 in a varitey of ways and Luis can play in several roles. BR will deploy him depending on opponent and game plan. Suarez may play behind the striker against weaker teams we expect to dominate, whereas against stronger teams we may want more of a midfielder in that spot. Against certain teams he could play wide as an inverted forward, and still in other games he will play in the role he's had this year, as a striker with alot of free
dom. Among our attackers Suarez is the only one guaranteed to play every game if fit. The others: Sturridge, Sterling, Downing, Suso, Shelvey, Henderson and any other signings will fit in around Suarez based on the game. Dont worry about what position Suarez plays, a player can dominate a game from anywhere in the attack and Suarez will, no matter where he plays.

Exactly ed couldn't have put it better myself.

Spurs are doing much the same thing swapping Defoe, Bale and Lennon across the front 3 entirely throughout the game. It keeps opponents on their toes. United are doing it to a lesser extent, as Ed's have rightly pointed out, its not about 1 player 1 position. There are a number of ways to play 4-3-3 and countless tactics to be developed and implemented. On a different point, a lot of Suarez's goals/assists actually come from him running down the wing, beating players and running close to the dead ball line with the ball.

Os Red

04 Jan 2013 01:32:14
Liverpool target Thomas Ince is trying to push through a move back to LFC before the weekend.

England under-21 Tom Ince wants the move back to Anfield and is worried about playing in the FA Cup with Blackpool and becoming ineligible to play for LFC in the FA Cup after he has joined..

He wouldn't get in the team anyway

04 Jan 2013 01:16:40
Talk on twitter is that the Belgian lad Mertens is set to join Liverpool. Are Liverpool showing interesting in him? Think we need some Beglian's in our squad - pure class! {Ed002's Note - I don't see Mertens moving to LIverpool in January. If he moves next summer I suspect it may well be to Bayern Munich although there remains serious interest from Lazio.}

Absolute brilliant buy if we can get him, but he has already said that he wants to see out the season at PSV.

BigD

04 Jan 2013 01:15:23
Ba is going to Chelsea. Pardew said so. It's pending a medical as far as I see.

Ince is coming to Liverpool. His dad will make sure of that. They are trying to get it in before this weekend so he doesn't get used in the FA Cup. The hold up is the % Tom Ince himself gets from being sold. It would take away from what Blackpool would get, and that's even much cheaper because there is a sell-on clause from when Liverpool sold him. Bad bit of business on Liverpool's part overall, but he's a good player.

Walcott will stay at Arsenal (unfortunately).

Gameiro is a good shout but I won't hold my breath on a loan for him. Will probably fall through just like the supposed move for Villa supposedly did.

Other than Ince and Sturridge it will most likely be a young defender that won't go into the first team this season.
Probably Isimat Mirin.

How can u have a sell on clause when he was a free transfer?

Villa is better option than Ince

04 Jan 2013 00:41:51
I haven't heard anything on Tom Ince lately. Are we still in talks with Blackpool about a price or are we not getting him.

Great site by the way. {Ed002's Note - My understanding is that a proposal was made regarding a player on loan but there was no detail given to me as to who it might be. Plenty of time for Liverpool to think about it right now.}

I'd imagine the loan player could be Suso? He'll get less games with Sturridge and Ince in the squad and Borini returning from injury.

Shelvey again ed002 maybe ? {Ed002's Note - I would doubt it. Perhaps a youngster.}

Ince deal has fell through

04 Jan 2013 01:11:13
Hey eds, just wondering which teams would be in the running for Zaha? {Ed002's Note - Crystal Palace will look to hold on to Zaha until the summer and if they get promoted perhaps after that too. He was to be allowed to move this past summer at the right price with Sunderland, West Ham and Reading look possible destinations. Liverpool have certainly looked at Zaha in the past but there has been strong recent interest from Arsenal and Manchester United and perhaps even interest from Spurs (as an alternate to an expensive Willian perhaps). Game time will no doubt be a factor in the short-term. Arsenal will ease of on interest if and when Walcott signs a new deal.}

04 Jan 2013 00:12:15
Anybody else think Suso would benefit by going out on loan for the rest of the season, maybe to a promotion seeking championship side who are top 6 or maybe a loan deal including the switch with Ince. Shelvey benefited massively at Blackpool and so do many other players who are strugling for confidence and a secure 1st place in the premiership so they get vital experience down a tier

I don't want Suso to go out on Loan, but if he were to, a loan to Wigan, QPR, Reading, or a team in the Championship would help him. He will stay and play in Europe/FA Cup games with occasional service in Prem. is our future #10

Suso is to good to go out on loan, he is quality!

Gus Poyet wants him at Brighton

I would hope that if we are offering a player loan to blackpool to cover an ince departure it's suso, playing bit part premiership games isn't enough, he may be good enough to play prem, but he needs regular starts and to get playing.The move would be ideal.

A player like him could only improve while playing in a better team. So unless he goes straight into Barcelona starting lineup, I'd keep him here where he can learn from the likes of SG every day. He will be one of the greats one day and patience is warranted. Not everyone has a stomach for abuse from supporters, like Lucas had, before they mature into excellent players.

Suso and Flanaghan

Eds, I've got a question for you, particularly for Ed002.

It's clear you don't post everything submitted to the site. And yet there are countless posts where you simply reply "try the search function."

What is the point of this exactly? why approve one post only to say "try the search function" and yet not approve other posts? if you have two posts to which the answer is "try the search function, " why only publish one and not the other?

{Ed002's Note - We are in a no-win situation. People complain if their posts don't make it - regardless of the post being the 50th to say that "Sampirisi is due at Anfield for a medical mid morning on Friday". Then we get those who complain that we keep putting the same answers to questions, or repeating answers. If folks took the time to read the other posts or give the search engine a little exercise then perhaps they would not need to as again about, say Frederik Sorensen - a young centre back from Bologna - arriving to replace Coates who is moving to Santos, for example.}

How did sampirisis medical go? will he fit intoBR system? lol
ski

Ed, are you teasing us here with a couple of names? don't know what to think anymore!! Ha.

Samprisi is not joining Liverpool.

Gazman

Been thinking about this for a while, ed's why not have some bullet points at the top of the page covering the most popular points (i.e. Sahin, Ince, Walcott, Alonso, Gameiro etc.)?
This would allow people to quickly read the summaries regarding these issues, and then hopefully avoid lots of repitition for the ed's to get bored with?
Although some persons will still ignore this and ask the same questions, I can't see it making anything any worse?
BBC have a similar feature on a couple of their pages, and it is definitely work thinking about.
Just my 2 pence worth; not trying to tell you how to run the site!

Peter M {Ed002's Note - It was tried and failed previously.}

How about don't complain about a site that is free to use.

So that's Sorensen in for Coates then :P

04 Jan 2013 00:40:36
ed002 do you think buying daniel sturridge was a wise/good deal. we could have got other not better but more proven talents, such as ba for 7million although we would have to lure him in somehow which is unrealistic. Do you think we will make a move for burak yilmaz in this window or the next or even at all?

simplestiltskin {Ed002's Note - Add BA to the list of players that Liverpool missed out on. Sturridge will be fine. Burak Yilmaz is an interesting one and I am aware that Liverpool were represented at a couple of Galatasaray games recently but I understand the focus was on Inan which could be a very, very shrewd buy in the summer. He has been interesting Rubin Kazan and Tavriya Simferopol in addition to Liverpool but I cannot see anything happening before the summer. Yilmaz has been doing well and has been scoring and has attracted interest in the past nine months from Sevilla, Spurs, Fulham, Dortmund, Beyer Leverkusen and Newcastle. There are also unconfirmed rumours of interest from Liverpool dating from as long ago as early June and perhaps these are correct as well. Lazio and Lokomotiv Moscow have both spoken with the player after the clubs agreed that they would meet the asking price from Galatasaray - but I would think that has now risen with his recent performances. Atletico Madrid are very keen to discuss a move for the player but, again, I suspect that a move before the summer is unlikely.}

Ed002- we were watching Inan? The guy has serious technique; awareness of players around him is outstanding. Of course everyone loves him for his set pieces. [FR] {Ed002's Note - I understand that Inan has been of interest for a while to Rubin Kazan, Liverpool and Tavriya Simferopol.}

Liverpool where not going to sign ba due to knee trouble that he has and weren't prepared to take a gamble on the player due to previous managers signing players who where rubbish and injured.

ED. Roughly what price would you expect Inan to cost? Cheers, ZW (also cheers for all the hard work :D ) {Ed002's Note - I really want to avoid money as a talking point as much as possible, but it will be something in the region of £11.35M.}

Do you believe there is a good chance Liverpool could sign this Inan in the summer Ed002? Or is there another club better placed at the moment?

Conan {Ed002's Note - The summer is a long way off so I can't say.}

04 Jan 2013 00:00:11
I live in Nottingham and word of the street is that liverpool are poised to sign 17 yr old will Hughes from derby for 6 mil then loan him back for the rest of the season. he is very good ive watched him a few times and he is very good and has good balance like Paul scholes.
also Liverpool to raid championship and make moves for Butland and ince.

thanks StevieDillon {Ed002's Note - No mention of Fulham then?}

He is a very good player yes, but the owners at Derby are trying to re-gain the fans trust and have sworn not to sell him.

I have a Derby County Season ticket, and no, the owners have not sworn not to sell him. He wants to stay because e starts every week here. I will miss watching him wert week as he's just pure class; his footwork innthe box is amazing!
