Alright eds hope all is well just wondering so far we know we have interest Gardos and De Vrij for the CB positions do you know if there are any GK's we have an interest in, I know it's early but hoped you might know. {Ed002's Note - I understand Al-Habsi and Mignolet might be of interest.}

Mignolet would be a decent buy in my opinion. Have a feeling BR will want a keeper with Premier League experience. Not too keen on Al Habsi. Vorm will probably be looked at too. Begovic will probably prove too costly and end up at United I would imagine

To Ed 002. I can't now believe a word you print as now your saying we are. Looking at wigans goalie! You've lost it. Plus you were saying honda won't be on a free this summer when every news story says he is. What is your purpose? {Ed002's Note - Please just ignore everything I say then. If you used the search function then perhaps you would see what I said about Al-Habsi. Obviously I bow to you and the power of the British press.}

Mignolet would be the best keeper we could buy, fantastic talent. Fingers crossed!

Hopefully they were turned off al habsi on the weekend

Al Habsi would be a disaster, he cannot play a ball passed back to him. Pure rubbish!

Did I see Al Habsi? I hope my eyes are playing trick on me.

Al Habsi can't catch a cold

Mignolet would be a great signing, he's been brilliant this season and is still fairly young. Obviously i'd prefer an in form reina, but he needs to see progress to regain his focus for this club, although he has said he's happy and likes BRs philosophy and style of play

Any truth in Swansea enquiring about loaning Suso next season?

Hello eds, what's the situation with Leroy Fer, Ivan Rakitić and Josip Ilicec? I feel that we lack some steel and a few more goals in midfield and any 1 of these 3 would be a good option to add some attacking depth
Great site and keep up the work eds! Regardless of some of the persons who spout abuse over their keyboards! {Ed002's Note - Fer is still at Twente after a move to Everton failed to complete. Rakitic remains likely to move to Lazio in the summer. Both Milan clubs, Napoli and Juventus have an interest in Ilicic with Napoli and Inter likely favourites if Ilicic does come up for sale - which seems unlikely to me. England seems an unlikely destination although Spurs, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa have looked at the player in the past year.}

Ed is there any chance that Xabi Alonso will come back to Liverpool before he retires? He has so much respect and love for the club I think it would be a shame if he didn't finish his career here.
Any chance Ed?
Cheers mate,
-Beany. {Ed002's Note - Try the search function please.}

Why so many disagrees? we must have a lot of Utd fans trolling our pages. He's said many a time he'll end his career with us.

Hi Eds, just wondering if we have any interest in Jovetic of Fiorentina? I thought we should have bought him 2 years ago! Also is Liverpool's preferred situation that Reina stays?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - Jovetic was very clearly the primary target for Manchester City next summer and until recent comments from the player and his agent that he does not want to leave Italy, I could certainly see that happening. The clear alternatives are Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus who have very clear targets and a significant budget to buy a player to play off their main striker. They have identified three possible players - and Jovetic is one.

Liverpool have been looking at goalkeepers as we know.}

Hi ed's is there any truth in the rumours, that stoke want shelvey. {Ed002's Note - I understand that Stoke were represented at a recent game against Manchester United with both Morgan and JonJonJo being of potential interest.}

I think Shelvey should stay, he's just turned 21 and is going to be a very good goal scoring attack minded midfielder. I'd rather we sold Henderson than Shelvey, i'll explain why, Henderson is nearly 23 years old, he's on £3. 38 million annual salary and is a bench player, Shelvey has just turned 21 and is on £720k a year and has scored more and will continue to score more as he is naturally more attacking.

I rate them both but Henderson is on a lot of money in comparison to Shelvey and I don't think Henderson even with his lift in form of late deserves £3. 38 million a year. Joe Allen is on £2. 34 million a year and he's Rodgers preferred choice in midfield, so Henderson I don't feel will have a place.

If I was Rodgers looking at how best to take the club forward i'd have to axe Henderson before Jonjo Shelvey because i'd receive more money in transfer fee for Henderson than Shelvey and it would free up a lot of wagers for new faces. Allen and obviously Lucas and Gerrard are the first choice mids in Rodgers mind. Which is why Henderson finds himself out wide right or left more often than in the centre of the midfield.

We should keep Shelvey, he will be really quality player for us in the future.
Morgan probably we can let him leave, I don't rate him that highly.

Would this be for a loan or perminate? just obviously I can't see Liverpool wanting to sell ether but going on loan to a prem club would be a great option for the young lads {Ed052's Note - Teams have players watched all the time. Its too early to know of loans or permanents}

What do you reckon Ed. Will the club sell if an offer of around 5-6 million pounds arrived?
I would take it, sell spearing and buy a Quality DM (Capoue) and give Suso and Texeira a proper go at CAM next season. {Ed052's Note - Shelvey has certianly fallen out of favour, but I wouldn't like to predict if he will go or not. Its certainly possible if we got 6m I would say}

If we sell shelvey rodgers is a muppet. I genuinely think he's r replacement for gerrard. he's got that bit of aggretion and attitude that provides the steel that allen clearly lacks. he's a decent goal threat and has confidence. a loan could b a decent option but i'd defo play shelvey b4 allen who isn't a bad player but he gives no power or drive to the midfield and in my opinion is just an easy ball player.
ozy

At the moment, Shelvey is not LFC standard.

You could make the case he deserves another season.

The problem is that you cannot gain a first touch if you don't already have it at his age.

hye eds,
do you think Liverpool will try again for tom ince? or will pursue on other targets? {Ed002's Note - I suspect they will try again but will not be held to ransom.}

Hope we go for other alternatives. Griezman? He is quality.

So Eds I see we're being linked once again with Keisuke Honda, this time on a free. First of all I'll say that, on a free he's surely worth a punt. A big name that would help our Asian market. Secondly, is there any interest in him that you guys know of, or is it lazy journalism? {Ed002's Note - Please read the posts or try the search function.}

Eds I just wondering what became of the Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko and if he is of interest? Cheers {Ed002's Note - Yarmolenko has been linked in the recent past with Real Madrid, Galatasaray, Napoli, Palermo and PSG whilst the sustained interest of AC Milan remains.}
