Ed001. You kindly advised us last week Klopp will look to a defender in the January window and if we can get you no who we will possibly look to an out of favour one looking for a move with the world cup coming up.
Is there anyone in mind or anyone you no of mate please?
{Ed001's Note - not yet mate, but it is still early, it will be the end of next month, beginning of December before that becomes clear. Players generally only start worrying about the World Cup when it is coming up to a transfer window and they are out of favour. Right now they still have time to get back in the side.}

Good thing Holland aren't in it eds we seem too be linked with de vrijs an obviously van dijk they won't b playing any world cup football, do u rate Ben Gibson of boro at all I heard Chelsea an man city were also interested n him.
{Ed001's Note - Gibson is ok, I would have taken him in the summer as a step up from Klavan but Boro were not interested in listening to offers. He did start the season well in the Prem, but struggled a bit as time went on and teams worked them out and got at him. Be interesting to see how he got on playing in a team that was more expansive and he was left one on one with an attacker as I am not sure it would suit him after watching him last season. He disappointed me to be honest. I expected more.}

Eds1 I would like to hear your opinion on Tarkowski of burnley?
{Ed001's Note - similar to Duffy, good at last ditch defending but no more than that. Yes he throws his body in the way of everything, will go for every header etc, but he is not up there with the better defenders in the Prem. If he was a bit better at reading the game he would not be having to block so many shots.}

Ben Gibson is a woeful player. Poor in the air, one paced, physically weak against a strong centre forwards and no positional sense.

Thanx ed for your reply mate I hadn't seen much of Gibson an I trust your evaluation of him there seems an awful lot of quality defenders from lower down leagues in recent times e. g lascelles, torkowski, Keane, stones, Gomez even Ben mee is not great but solid, we should b aware of Wats going on in lower leagues the quality is there.

I would probably prefer to look lower down the leagues also hailstones. It seems the art of pure defending has been lost in the higher leagues these days. Where have all the Sol Campbell’s gone?

The only English defender who looks like he could play at the top level is Lascelles.

If it was upto you ed who would you like to see us bring in? My choice would have to be either Van Dijk or Eric Dier.
