Ed2 if Coutinho is tempted by a move too Barcelona or Bayern in the summer, would you expect klopp too look at Malli as a replacement or perhaps someone like Max Meyer or Gotze?

Believable0 Unbelievable7

{Ed002's Note - I don't know Dorset. Malli is certainly up and coming. Max Meyer was looked at by Liverpool in the Brendan Rodgers days and again is seen as a real talent so cannot be discounted. I don't see Goetze as an option.]

Ok thankyou ed. One player who i really like and is part of the up and coming Germany side is Kevin Volland. Perhaps a move for him if we decided too move on a few strikers?

Agree0 Disagree8

{Ed002's Note - I rather doubt it Dorset.}

Thanks ed. I understand we can't sign every player i want haha.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I was thinking of doing a list of other players who Liverpool don't want to sign.}

Wouldn't make much of a read though ed to be honest!

Might be easier that Ed002. At least that's the picture the media paint anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - They pander to the very gullible fans hfs. Coutinho for ter Stegen will be next.}

Liverpool Echo reporting of a bid of £23.5m for berahino. Can't see us wanting that walking attitude problem myself.

30 Dec 2015 17:37:35
its not the Echo reporting it.

With his reputation for having a poor attitude, I doubt the club would risk that kind of money.

The echo reporting it from a 'Spanish source'

Risk that amount of money? Balotelli anyone?

Hi eds, with David De Gea possibly going to Madrid in the summer, do you think we would go for Keylor Navas? Or have we had him looked at? Would be a great acquisition imo.
Thanks.

Believable0 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - No - Liverpool have not shown any interest in Navas.}

30 Dec 2015 23:46:19
Ok thanks eds, once we get someone in or even ward back to improve the quality between the sticks!

More clean sheets than any other in the epl in 2015. not too bad for a "rubbish" keeper that needs replacing. Suspect at times but seems to be doing alright for himself.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - and David James held the record for Premier League clean sheets until recently, which suggests clean sheets are no sign of quality in a keeper.}

31 Dec 2015 19:44:07
Another pointless stat that proves absolutely nothing in reality. the david James analogy is as accurate as ever, Ed. Bravo!

Morning eds- any truth in the Chilwell or Kostic rumours? You can understand all the rumours surrounding big clubs and Leicester players but I don't think fullbacks are important for us at this moment. Kostic would make more sense as I don't think there was any secret in the fact we are looking at possible wingers.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - I have explained about Chilwell - try the search engine. I am not aware of any Liverpool interest in Kostic - Stuttgart rejected an approach from Bayer Leverkusen for Filip Kostic who they say is not for sale.}

Morning Ed do you think Liverpool have any interest in Ricardo Rodriguez?
Would seem very much a Klopp type of full back to me and I believe we've already looked previously.

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - No Chris and I sujspect he would be well beyond the means of Liverpool in January in any case. Wolfsburg's Ricardo Rodriguez previously attracted the attention of Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter, Fiorentina and Real Madrid. Real Madrid, fearful of a ban, may see Rodriguez as an alternative to Gaya and may look to move in January. Valencia are also interested.

Liverpool are looking elsewhere for a left back still and with Moreno, Smith, Enrique & Gomez (to return) it may well be something that will wait until the summer.}

30 Dec 2015 11:31:23
Yes I agree we aren't desperate in that position but he is top drawer so I suppose the cost would reflect that. Am I right in thinking we looked previously and could we have signed him or was it all paper talk.

Eds,
Long time reader, first time poster. And I guess it´s not a very good post either. But there´s been some rumours about RB Leipzig Emil Forsberg - is there a real interest from Liverpool?
Probably nothing but as a swede I do remember that the last time there was a swede in our squad who played for the swedish national team we won the league so.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - RBL's Emil Forsberg was a player that Claudio Ranieri tried to sign as Monaco manager and now as Leicester manager he has returned and will look for a deal in January. Previous interest of Liverpool dates from an attempt by Brendan Rodgers to purchase the player from Sundsvall when he first arrived at the club - but he opted for Assaidi. I am not aware of any interest from Liverpool returning. Interest of PSV, Fiorentina and Lille existed when he was at Malmo but he made the move to RBL instead.}
