E. O. T. K reporting that lfc are interested in kovacic from Real Madrid. Can't see it myself especially for the fee mentioned. Do the eds know if there is any interest in him from lfc or any other prem league club?
{Ed001's Note - you mean they are reporting that a player we tried to sign last sumer we are interested in still is news? There is nothing new in our interest, but nothing has happened yet, though Madrid do need to sell some players.}

So does that mean Klopp has some interest in him ed as we tried to sign him prior to Klopp arriving?
{Ed001's Note - I would assume so as the club have kept tabs on him, but that might just be a general thing, rather than Klopp's instructions.}

Would Kovacic be one of the players they are willing to sell?

Thing is he's entirely the wrong type of midfielder for us. He's another weak floaty type. We need a nails hard centre midfielder to give us a solid midfield.
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any actual discussions being held in respect of Skrtel recently but if Liverpool were willing to let him go Turkey, with Besiktas, and Russia may provide options for him. It is clear that Besiktas want a deal for a centre back done as early as possible - right now Marcelo has come in on loan but he will head back to Hamburg. However, I understand that the talks they have been having with Cristian Zapata have been fruitful and that he will make the move from Milan in the summer. However, they may yet push for Skrtel as well as centre back is a position they have struggled with this season - I would not rule it out.}
