Has Liverpool looked at Xherdan Shaqiri? I feel he would add to our squad and be relatively cheap if Stoke are relegated. He is always looked good for the Swiss team when I have seen them but that's probably been only 5 or so times.

{Ed001's Note - no he is not a team player, not suited to the way Klopp plays, never an option. There is a reason he plays for Stoke and no one else would touch him, he isn't that good in a team game.}

Cheers Ed001 - now I understand why none of the "bigger" teams have gone for him. I understand he is one of those you would file under "who looks good on youtube"

{Ed001's Note - exactly. Great at those flashes of good play that make for great highlight reels but does nothing for 89 minutes bar complain about his team-mates.}

from Bayern munich to inter milan and then stoke, I work with a stoke fan, season ticket holder who regularly tells me that shaqiri is lazy and selfish he also wishes mark hughes had left in the summer as he had wasted so much money on dross which is likely going to see stoke relegated.

Top teams can’t afford to carry players like that. Stoke have to play him because for all his flaws he’s one of the only ones who can produce brilliance which may keep them up.
Also gobbed off this week about his team mates.
I’m sure he will get a move away if they go down but I doubt it will be to a top club.

I read the original post and sincerely thought it was a late April Fool’s.

Gotta question the decisions made at Stoke, that diouf is awful, chupo moting isn't much better, and the rest of the team likewise!

No way! Good option I feek and sure many others do for really good option from bench and too keep front 3 honest would be Wilfred Zaha really progressed last few years.

He’s cheap for a reason, he’s like a cheap piece of furniture, looks good but on closer inspection it’s made from chipwood and falls apart within a month.

zaha is a awful player, his touch is awful his crossing is eratic and his finishing is mediocre, the sort of signing that has held us back for years, far more worthy would be letting woodburn and Wilson have a chance.

Really Wombat? Zaha blows hot and cold. He was falling over his shoelaces against us.

I think Zaha would be a better option than Shaqiri.

I actually think that Kloppers could turn Zaha into a worldbeater.

He can be little eratic but i honestly belive klopp could get even more from him and he also 9/ 10 is source anything Palace offer yet teams seem struggle keep him quiet, personal opinion off course reds.

I think Zaha is improving and I do rate him, I however am not sure he would cut it at a big club, he’s great as Palaces focal point as he can make things happen himself and does a lot of good things, he however often loses the ball and runs into dead ends, his final ball isn’t great and doesn’t score enough goals.

He can get away with things like that when he’s the best player at a club but if he was at a bigger club fans would soon get on his back when attack’s frequently stopped through his play.

He could possibly change and improve and that wouldn’t surprise me. I heard on the radio last week Simon Jordan (blinkered eyes) saying he has him on a par with Sane and reckons Zaha would produce the same if he was in the city team.

Zaha wouldn't get in our side but I rate him.
