However, after doing well at the Under 17 World Cup Valmir Berisha gave an interview to a Swedish Sports TV channel where he claimed that a whole host of clubs had offered him contracts - including Liverpool, Spurs, Ajax, Milan, Sunderland and Celtic. When this was queried with his club, Halmstad, they said that Sunderland, Celtic and Ajax had spoken with them and that they were aware that Krasnodar wanted to speak with them.}

Ed002, let's banter a bit, since you are cheslea follower - What if Chelsea come in with a 50+ mil bid for Suarez in Janauray? They need a goal scorer to
get their title challenge back on track and
and Luis really fits the bill for that. Could you ever see a bid happenning in January or have you ever heard any roumours oif interest in Luis from chelsea? You could respond by saying that you would be doubtful LFC are interested in a sale of Suarez now, but is that really in the clubs hands? Do you know if Suarez has a sell out clause in his last contract?

{Ed002's Note - The situation is that the expectation that Real Madrid would make a significant bid for Suarez in January has wavered slightly. Whilst we know that Suarez told another player that he will win the Champions League with Real Madrid this season, his representatives are looking at hedging their bets and have recently approached four other clubs to see if they would be looking to bid in January. There is no secret but the four club are Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus and PSG. Real Madrid are certainly continuing to look for a striker in January, so we will see if they make a move for Suarez or not. Liverpool, I would expect, will want him to stay until the end of the season. As for any "clauses", the issue in the summer was over a verbal agreement that Suarez and his folks believed existed in terms of him being allowed to move if an offer of over £40M was made - hence the Arsenal bid and much of the disruption that we saw. I was never convinced he wanted to move to Arsenal but suspect he would have done if needs be. As for Chelsea, I would very much doubt they will be making an offer for Suarez in the summer.}

I very much doubt that Liverpool would want to sell Luis Suarez to Arsenal or Chelsea and would be more interested in bids from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint Germain.

I'm sorry if I am wrong here but surely Juve don't have that sort of money. Not only for the fee but for the wages. They are already paying Tevez and they need to keep hold of vidal and pogba. I know they are probably the wealthiest italian club but there revenue would have to be even lower than Liverpool's despite being inthe champions league just due to the falling interest in Serie A. And in addition to that, I seem to remember officials from Juve coming out and saying after they were knocked out of last seasons champions league that they don't have the resources to compete with the Bayern, Real, Barcas etc.
So just from that, couldn't we rule them out?

Why would Bayern want Suarez? {Ed002's Note - Suarez is a good player.}

Liverpool are in the best position for years in terms of getting back into the champions league.Remember the board of Liverpool is made up of intelligent men who are no fools and realise if louis is to be sold it will be for the same money bale was sold for as he is on par or better than bale .the amount of money the club will make if they make champions league far out ways the selling of louis .there would want to be a massive offer on the table I seriously doupt he will go for anything near 50 million .Liverpool need top four to attract the best players and who know suarez may want to stay if we do get champions league don't rule it out.

Is it true that Sidney Sam has a buyout clause 2.5mill Euro? {Ed002's Note - It is really not as simple as that. Wolfsburg enquired after Sidney Sam in the summer and had an offer turned down. Shalke have made no secret of their interest. However, Bayer Leverkusen are confident that the forthcoming negotiations will see the player agree a new deal.}

Newspapers report that Suarez has recommended we go for his fellow Uruguay Striker Kevin Mendez. Nothing anywhere in the search function have any of the eds. heard anything regards this.

ED01 - I notice that Conor got another full game last night for Sheff Utd, he seems to be in Nigel Clough's plans @ the minute. Do you know how he has performed over this last couple of games?
