Daily Star are reporting Lucas to inter on loan with a view to a permanent move. Be sad to see him go if it's true

I agree that we should not be letting him go on loan; they agree a price to buy get to the end of the season won't pay the agreed price and then the player leaves on the cheap elsewhere or to Inter.

Hi eds is there any truth we are looking at buying Onanzi from Lazio a powerful midfielder in Jan or maybe even a swap deal involving Borini?

{Ed002's Note - Ogenyi Onazi has attracted the attention of Fiorentina, Hertha Berlin and Ajax in the past 9 months and has been subject to being scouted by a number of clubs including Spurs. If there is recent interest from Liverpool then I cannot confirm it. This sounds like a recycled story from about a year ago when Liverpool did look to the player. I cannot imagine what use he would be to the club now after the summer arrivals. Perhaps dump some of the youngsters - Can maybe?}

Ed002, not fair to use that term with reference to Can. he is a very young talent 20yrs of age, just because he hasn't featured much as yet, "Dump" him is being a bit harsh, as it wouldn't be fair for others to say Dump.

Salah, Marin or any other youngsters trying to get used to the EPL. aside from that I don't believe we don't need this guy the other poster mentioned. we need a commanding goalkeeper and a decent striker, I've no doubt then we will improve as a unit.

I never said it had anything to do with Chelsea, I just used those as examples of players bought for fairly big sums but have yet to show the potential that had them signed in the first place, could reel off many others but to dump them as you put it, I just felt it was an unfair assessment of Emre Can, that's all. HE performed very well tonight and I'm sure he will prove a bargain @ £10mill in the future.

Dear eds, wondering if there's any interest in tolgay arslan of hamburg, he looks like a great player who is good in a tackle but can also pass really well.

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal and Sevilla have shown an interest in Hamburg's Torgay Arslan and I understand from someone in Germany he is a player much admired by van Gaal.}
