Talking on sky now of Liverpool could be better if we were spending more money because we were 7th highest spenders in the summer. Love how they ignore years of spending well over 100million and still having 50 odd players in our squad.

Ya but is not 100 million if your selling 75mil player or a 50mil player.

Why anyone watches that rubbish I don't know.

Why wouldn't we? It's good, entertaining, and informative. Sheds light between the real stories and the crap you read on Facebook pages. Plus they where talking very positively about Liverpool and said, imagine if Juergen klopp had spent the same amount as the other big clubs how much better Liverpool would be doing compared to the likes of city. They where complementing us for being at the same standard without having to spend rediculous amounts.

Spending more money wouldn't have made any difference, it's about getting the right players in, not the most expensive ones.

It isn't really about how much a player cost, but if he fits to how you play and does he improve the team. Carol and Mane cost near the same amount but you can see the difference on the pitch. Matip was free, karious relatively cheap, and same with both couts and sturridge.

Alternatively Bony cost city a fortune, Torres ŵas a record signing, and di maria was near world record signing. All good players but didn't fit how the teams play.

They actually showed that Klopp is 9m in profit since he came to Liverpool.

If it is about spending less and achieving more than nobody does it than messr wenger and arsenal. They been doing it year in year out. Only recently wenger went on splurge.

Arsenals wage bill is about 30 million quid a year higher than Liverpool's.

This is why ed002 tells us to forget about the money. We haven't got a clue. 😄
In reality, I'm sure LFC are not 'in profit' since Klopp arrived.

Ed02 has said we did not make a profit.

I never understand why people talk about net spend, regardless of the amount you sell for, the amount you buy the players for remains, how much you get for a player has no bearing on the players you bring in, I'll never understand why there's a focus on net spend when justifying transfers.

Let's not forget the other fees involved in transfers either. Signing, legal etc. Plus wages, bonuses etc. The transfer fees are just a headline figure.

Anybody else seen his positioning while we are on the attack? It's rather exciting yet nervy at the same time. He's always no more than 15 yards behind the cbs, really compliments how intense our pressing game really is.

To press high your centre backs have to be high, leaving a big gap in behind, if he can comfortably sweeper keep, that's great!

Klopp appearing on MNF Sky sports tonight. not a big fan of managers leaving themselves open on shows like this.

Klopps not stupid, i think it will be a great watch, and be good to get an insight in to how he sees how games work when analysing opposition.

Morning redmen,

I have this strange unusual feeling at the moment about Liverpool. I'm confident, happy and enjoying watching them play!?!

Long may it continue

Now for the weekend loan update

Awoniyi played for 87 minutes as NEC drew 0-0 at home with Willem. The point moves them out of the bottom 3.
Awoniyi has started 3 in a row so looks like he will be a regular this season which is good.

Burnley play at home tonight against Watford. Hopefully flannaghan will make an appearance. They are leaking goals so who better to bring in than the scouse cafu!

Allan was an unused sub as Hertha berlin drew 3-3 with eintracht.
Only one start so far this season, looks like he has to really fight for regular game time.

Danny ward and Huddersfield lost 1-0 to reading after having a man sent off early on.
Huddersfield are now second in the championship

Wigan and bogdans poor start to the season continues as they lost 1-0 to Preston. Wigan are now bottom of the championship.

Jack Dunn played the full 90 as Morecombe lost 3-2 at home to Crawley.
Morecambe currently sit just in the playoff spots.

The man in the sticks Ryan Fulton was unable to prevent chesterfield losing 2-1 to bury. Bury had 13 shots on target so Fulton was kept pretty busy

Wisdom watched on injured as salzberg drew 0-0

Lloyd jones played the full 90 as Swindon beat oldham 2-0

Sam hart was an unused sub as port vale lost 2-1 to Bristol.

Markovic came on in the 70th minute as sporting won 4-2.
Injury niggles have disrupted his start to the season.

And that's your lot redmen.
Here's hoping we beat Swansea next week to give us a good finish before the international break.

I was at the Bayern game vs Berlin.
Bayern did not get out of second gear. At half time they had 80% Possession and it was more of a Training exercise.

Allan to his credit was one of a very few Berlin Players looking to take on some responsibility and continually dropped deep to receive the ball and play out from the back. Ultimately he was caught out and robbed of the ball leaving 2 Bayern players alone with the GK, resulting in the second goal.

Hard to judge him to harshly though given it was his first minutes of the season and against a Team so massively ahead of their rivals that it borders on the boring to watch.
