I work for a German group of companies, been on the annual gathering yesterday, I was speaking to one of the German chaps (Bremen fan) about klopp, saying we had been linked with him, but asking what was in the German media about him. He said klopp is a fantastic manager and linked with every job that is going-he is so good. I mean, I read that he is a good manager, but I don't personally know. But this guy said he is brilliant! But not linked with liverpool no more than any other team. Not great news, but just shows certain fans (including me as a fan) we believe what we want to believe. So don't hold your breath he won't be coming to us, as much as I hope. . But you never know, he might just.

I watched a lot of Dortmund games when he was still in charge and I love his football. Absolutely love it. Very entertaining. Even last season when they were struggling badly they were still playing pretty good football. The big problem was injuries and the obvious lack of Lewandowski.

Have to be said that Tuchel is doing a hell of a job there now. They've been playing excellently.

He's off to Man City I feel. If we do oust Rogers then we should do all we can to convince Klopp or as Macca has said Ancelotti.

{Ed002's Note - Klopp has previously turned down Manchester City and they, like Liverpool, have no interest in him.}

Klopp is a clown.

It's the last thing our club needs.

If we had (by some mystical phenomenon) the choice between Ancelotti & Klopp I feel we need the stature of Ancelotti at the club. That's no comment on Klopp, but Ancelotti's CV is second to none.

The fact he is the the most successful manager in Europe next to Paisley would make joining LFC somewhat poetic.

He has huge long feet and has a small car with a hooter that blows up

Hi ed01 did Rogers initially block Sturridge move only to backtrack in Jan whilst under pressure from FSG.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - no.}

Tony Barrett has said Rodgers blocked the Sturridge move in the summer initially, seemingly because he wanted Walcott, and then back tracked and chose Sturridge under pressure from FSG in January.

{Ed001's Note - far be it from me to argue with someone rewriting history to suit his agenda, but Rodgers was the one who pushed for Sturridge in the first place. Fair does to him, he targeted the lad.}

Thanks for the reply Ed001.

Isn't it well known Rodgers wanted Borini, Allen and Sturridge having worked with them previously

Rubbish! I watched a Sky Deadline Day that summer and BR pushed fora loan for Studge but he and Chelsea wanted an outright transfer because Studge was fed up with Chelsea. That is why the deal was done so quickly with Chelsea. Studge pushed for the deal to go through, per ed01. Maybe BR should learn that history cannot be rewritten. It can only be hidden.

Brendan never worked with Sturridge, having left Chelsea before Daniel came in.

Ohio, it's Tony Barrett who is re-writing history, this report is about Rodgers not written by Rodgers

Bash Rodgers when he deserves it but not when he doesn't come on guys. Very quick to judge him are we, patience we must have. Gone soon he will be. Turned into Yoda I have ha ha!

Now that Firmino is on the sidelines for a few weeks Teixeira should get a look in surely, he is about the most ready player we have to properly break into squad be it as a squad player.

Surprised by his lack of game time already, although know he can't play in the Europa League!
