Do you think we would have a chance of signing di Natalie from undinese? I know he is getting old but still has a couple of years left in him. What do you rate our chances if we went for him?

I hear David Villa will be a shock loan signing come January.

Ed judging by the comments you make on mousa sissoko he's a top player. Do you think he has the potential to be the next Gerrard and what r the chances of him coming in the summer?
Red fanatic {Ed002's Note - I cannot say anything about the sumemr - it is much too early. Toulouse's Moussa Sissoko is a fine player and has attracted interest from Lyon, Roma, Genoa, Juventus, Liverpool and probably Napoli. Arsenal and Milan's previous interest waned over the summer. Damien Comolli let Sissoko's agent know that Liverpool see his man as the ideal long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard but for some reason Liverpool failed to make the final push in the summer. Sissoko is available but both Roma and Lyon appear to have the edge over other interested clubs and as far as I know at the moment Liverpool have yet to follow up their previous interest.}
Ed, do you think that we didn't go for sissoko in the summer because the club did not invisage Gerrard being injured again for such a long period of time? Cheers pal {Ed001's Note - I think that is probably a big part of it yes.}

There are so many complex difficulties in signing players, fee,wages,agent fees, age, fitting into thre team and enviroment.

lfc website has reports of adebayor signing, no chance surely? {Ed002's Note - Those reports are taken from the papers and web sites and being on the Liverpool web site does not add anything in terms of credibility. He is contracted to Spurs until next summer - so he won't be signing in January.}
Spurs will finish in the top 4 this season and Adebayor will sign for them.
Wouldnt mind him however.Style would blend well into our style

I dont, for a moment, doubt Dalglish at all but he has ensured that Liverpool are self sufficient with Gerrard and Carra not in the first 11.

is there any chance that he could come to liverpool in january ? {Ed002's Note - Inter offered to loan Coutinho to Bologna as part of a deal for Gaston Ramirez that fell though. I don't think they want to sell but may consider a loan and I suspect they will listen to decent offers. Coutinho would need a work permit so any move would not be easy. A possibility for Liverpool.}

Have heard a rumour that Carrol may be on his way out on loan in January,with QPR a possible destination with us signing Anelka as his replacement.

Why are you telling things you don't believe to be true yourself?
I think it would be good for carroll to go on loan. he's not ging to improve without more game time, and he's currently just not good enough to be in our starting 11. loan moves have done wonders for the likes of Sturridge and Welbeck, so one would be good for carroll too.
Who would be foolish enough to offer £25m for Carrol? I mean I appreciate the 'Pool payed £35m last year, and somehow tried to justify it by the fact they got £50m for Torres...!.....
But the harsh truth is Carrol is worth £10-£15m max at this point in time IMO

Ed how serious is our interest in lucas podolski? What chance have we got of signing him or doumbia in jan? {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any interest from Liverpool so I would guess chances of him signing are very slim. I also don't see any chance of Podolski going to a club where he cannot be sure of a starting place - it could well put his international career at risk. Spurs and Arsenal have shown an interest but I expect him to move to either to Turkey with Galatasary or possibly Russia with interest from several clubs including Anzhi and Zenit.}
{Ed002's Note - There has been an enquiry from Newcastle about Doumbia and it is likely if there is another team who have actually enquired it will be Arsenal. Chelsea and no doubt others have had scouts at games but that is some way from making any enquiries for the player. Doumbia does a good job of talking himself up and CSKA will likely want £25M or so for the player.}

Eds: Ive been told by a lad who was talking to Steve Gerrard in Costa in Formby that he will be out for as long as 4-5 months, and that Liverpool are looking for an attacking midfielder and a striker for January. He also said Dalglish is adamant he wants Adam Johnson as he is young and fits the criteria Fenway insist on, but City wont sell until the summer. He said he will be back as good as ever once he clears the ankle injury up though and thought he had made a good comeback upto the United game.
