hi eds, has Liverpool have any interest in M�rio Fernandes of cska moscow?centre back and also can play in right back. good ariel ability. bayern munich, juventus, real madrid, bercelona are tracking him. recently bayern made a 8m bid but rejected. can we get him? {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

Just read on This is Anfield that a qatari company is looking at buying the rights to name the stadium and kit.
Any truth in there? Also is This is Anfield reliable?

Hi Eds, great site. Just wandering what the situation with Skrtel is currently whether he will be likely to stay with us or if we are looking for a replacement. The first year of a new centre back is always a nervy one. Cheers {Ed002's Note - He is likely to leave.}

So we lose Cara, Skirts and Coates. possibly Suarez. All difficult to replace.

Can't see the owners buying in 3 players as cover, we struggled to buy a forward when we only had one.

Well let's hope Kelly and Wisdom are now given a chance in Central defence.

I wish we would sell downing instead, he just so ordinary and offer no goals, not sure what BR sees in him would rather have Henderson, Suso or Sterling on the right.

Ed's are any clubs interested in Diego from Wolfsburg?

He's too good for that team. {Ed002's Note - Diego is, for the first time, settled in to the Wolfsburg team with Magath out of the way. He comes with very significant baggage and would, in my view, be an entirely dumb move by any club. I am not aware of interest from Liverpool at this time. Lingering interest from Sporting Lisbon and Botofogo could attract him at some point.}

Just heard LFC are interested in a young defender Tigo Ilori, can any Ed give details on who else is interested in him because he sounds so promising no way LFC are the only 1's looking at him. I just want to know how good are chances are of getting him and at the cost of 1.3m everyone will be snapping at his heels? Thanks and keep up the great work that goes into this site. AWESOME! :-)

Grate work guys {Ed002's Note - As I said yesterday, the player is someone Barcelona may look to if they cannot get their primary targets - one of which is already off the table. I did not say Villa and Tello, but Villa or Tello and cash might be an option.}

Would Villa's wages be an issue do you think Ed? Would Barca be prepared to contribute if they were? {Ed002's Note - If Villa wants regular football he will need to renegotiate whatever deal he goes for. Barcelona won't be paying.}

If that's the case then it will be Tello as he fits the mold the owners are after. Villa is no good the age that he is.

The problem is that those players have to agree to the move and as it stands now neither would want to come!

Wouldnt mind Tello and 30m cash, we desperately need another right winger.

Suarez has to stay

Think I have said this in the past Luis will only go for a £40 million plus offer but don't think Juve CAN AFFORD this Barcelona maybe can but payment structure would need to be staggered. However, I don't think LFC want to sell and Luis will have full support while he is going through ban. As previously stated the lad needs help and support from the club to help him deal with the various issues he is going though. Running away will not solve this.

You all keep mentioning Villa but original poster asked about Sanchez who I understand may be available?

Not directly Liverpool related, but I've read this morning in the Metro that Cardiff are looking to sign Dirk Kuyt in the summer?

Would love to see him back in the EPL.

No way! We would want more than 5m aswell as Diame. I know about cutting lossses but that's carving your hands off!

West Ham are having a laugh! Diame plus £10m would be a more realistic amount. I would have him back and give him another season to prove himself.

Isn't Diame's buy out clause £3.5m?

The derisory amounts offered by Newcastle amongst other teams are alughable.

You could afford to send him out on loan for the next 2 years in the hope that he bangs 20+ in one of those seasons and then his value will be something worth considering.

If he fails in those 2 years you could still sell him for the £7m currently on offer with one year left on his contract.

Diame has a £3.5m release clause.

Diame isn't that interested! He is more interested in joining spurs or arsenal? I can see a swap with parker if I'm honest

I have just seen that there is a €30 million release clause on marco reus. Who do you think there will be interest from? I'm quiet adamant that LFC will not ever splash 30m on 1 player again. It just won't happen.

Would be the perfect replacement for Suarez in my opinion, but he is young and I don't think Dortmund will allow Gotze, Lewandowski and Reus go in the same window

Think he would only leave for a top club Liverpool are not that.

I am sick of people posting in their hunches and insider tips, I do not appreciate the abuse the admins get from people either, I'm not going to post my thoughts but simply ask you, Eds, who are Liverpool most likely to sign/sell in summer and what is our rough transfer budget, thank you guys, great site {Ed002's Note - Defence remains the priority with a wide player on the cards as well. Additionally, anyone unexpectedly leaving will need to be replaced. Ireally do not want to discuss money, but have explained before that teh club must move toward being more self-sufficient financially.}

Diakite's name has popped up again and won't he be a free transfer aswell or did he sign new contract? {Ed002's Note - Diakite will be free in the summer and has been refusing to agree a new deal at Lazio. A bid from Genoa was rejected. Bordeaux would be interested in taking him in the summer for free but as he hasn't taken the opportunity to sign a pre-contract as I am pretty sure he will stay in Italy and move to Napoli if he can.}
