Theo walcott will sign for liverpool in january.It's true he is a life long liverpool fan,and rodgers is willing to play him up front.A fee of around 11m will be enough to snap him up.Liverpool will also try and sign sturridge for a reduced fee,as he is in the last year of his contract.
11m for a player with six months on his contract... At least make an effort when making up bull****.
Can see this rumour coming true.Play the lad through the middle,with his pace he would get away from any defender.I belive his finishing isn't as bad as people make out either,plus he will only get better.

Theo Walcott wants to be a striker and this seems to be holding up contract talks. We must be on the phone to his agent letting him know we have a space for him at Anfiled. What do you think Eds? low price, young, pace and good premiership record. {Ed001's Note - nothing to do with position, everything to do with money.}
Think Walcott would fit perfectly into the way we play under Rodgers.
Sterling, Suarez and Walcott as our front three will make any defence quiver. The pace alone will be too much for other teams to handle and Walcott will surely add goals and assists. Something we are seriously lacking at the moment!!

If it is all about money do you see him leaving then seeing as arsenal won't offer as much as Chelsea or city. It seems odd that arsenal don't pay the going wages for top player so they all want to leave. If they'd got there wallet out I'm sure they would of kept a lot of the players that left in recent years.
Djay {Ed001's Note - Arsenal pay too much to fringe players and so can't afford to pay top players as much. Walcott will no doubt be concentrated on finding out if anyone else will match his demands, if he can, he will join them, if not he will take Arsenal's best offer.}

I am just curious as to why is Sahin not getting any game time. Is there any clause in the loan deal or does Brendon Rodgers does not think he fits the style of the team?

Look Rodgers wouldn't have signed Sahin if he didn't fit into his system. And anyway Sahin played most of the arsenal game and all of the game against young boys
He played a total of 4 games last year due to injury. He had his pre-season broke up with the move to us and it's timing. He was very much off the pace against Arsenal. Give him a little chance to regain match fitness. He'll be great.

He will get more and more game time as the season goes on.He just needs to up to speed with his fitness,quality player!.
Sahin is a brilliant player who made his name playing for Borussia Dortmund. They play a similar style to BR as the play fast possession football. He won the Bundesliga player of the year at 21/22 in a team which won the league for the first time in nearly a decade. He plays for Real Madrid and is only on loan to us because injury hampered his La Liga career last season. He is one of the best midfielders on the planet and will play consistently this season bar an injury.

Looking at it at present john jo, gerrard, allan and hendeson look ahead of him in the pecking order. am just pleased he is only on loan so if it dosent work out we can send him back after all we dont want another aqerlani on our hands. we should have put more effert into sining a striker instead of this lad but i gess we dident expect the likes of sterling and john jo would be ready for the first team this year

2 days before the young boys game he said himself he was 7-10 days away from being fully fit.
Why would Rodgers sign a player if he didn't think that he fitted the 'style'? Just wondering?

Ed002 do you think we might go after gaitan in january as there are some stories that he will leave for quite a low fee? we were supposedly interested in him in the summer {Ed002's Note - Manchester United and Barcelona both showed interest in the winger but Inter PSG or Napoli may be the first to eventually put an offer on the table for Gaitan. My understanding is that Manchester United and PSG did speak with Benfica last January but no bid was made. I understand that it remains the case that Benfica were aware of sustained interest and were aware that Inter Milan and, only possibly, Liverpool could be interested in the player. Asking price is and will continue to be an issue - certainly he will not be leaving for a "low fee". If Manchester United can agree a price I am told that the player would welcome the move. Napoli are actively seeking a replacement for Lavezzi and still may return for Gaitan. I would think a move to Liverpool most unlikely.}

Carrol will be recalled in Jan with no striker being signed untill summer. No one will leave in the Jan transfer window either. Expect Suso to be given a run out in Capital One cup and Europa League and may also push for a place for Premier League games.

Ed can u see us bringing in a goalkeeper in jan? whether pepe goes or not , he has simply been error prone for ages {Ed001's Note - I don't expect one brought in then, no.}
Riena was good against man utd he almost saved a penalty .personally i would rather have a winger and striker

We need a stiker not another goal keeper! Pepe has made mistakes but is still top notch.

A keeper will be brought in but only a understudy to Reina as Brad and Gulacsi are not good enough to fight against Pepe.
Personally i wouldn't waste money we don't have on a big named keeper, we need to strengthen other areas like up front which are more important
