Hi Ed's,
I was wondering what the general consensus was with the buzz surrounding Pablo Sarabia. He seems to be a bit of a gem and a late (ish) developer.
Sevilla is of course a great club, but does he have higher ambitions and moreover is there clubs willing to accommodate him?
Of course this is a Liverpool rumour site, so I'll be specific, do you see him as a good fit in Liverpool
Thanks
Kev.

So Liverpool are looking at possibly cutting there losses with Naby Keita with Bayern Munich and Dortmund interested in taking him and possibly losing a 10 million loss.
Is this true Ed as every time Klopp talks about Naby he talks highly of him.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any discussions regarding a transfer or money between clubs, and he is another example of where people really don't understand what he cost the club. However, he is represented by an agency that could well be making enquiries to see what interest there is. Bayern Munich seems unlikely as they are looking to a specific senior CM player to arrive in 2020. Dortmund have been looking at two younger CM players but they are looking to add one.}

I don't believe that bled. obviously no inside information, but it makes absolutely no sense at all. I read the same report and rolled my eyes.

seriously. read this site and everything will be clear as to what is going on. there are a few surprises, like Fabinho last year, but for the most part, you can figure out what's really going on by reading this site, sifting through the crap and reading what the eds say. I rember telling someone at church about a week before it happened that Rodgers would be fired and Klopp hired just by reading this site. It's amazing what you can learn here.

Our very own Ed2 has said there are potential personality issues.

I think it’s pretty obvious Klopp isn’t fully sold on him but he’s a young guy who’s come over to a new league and country and has had injury problems. I would like him to be given another season to prove himself.

This exact scenario happened with Fabinho, and now look at him? He was reported unsettled and potentially off to PSG who held prior interest.
It’s paper talk. Let’s give him and the Liverpool management team time to get him on the right track. He will be some player, so I hope it’s with us.

Dear ed002
Thanks for your info. Just want to clarify things, are you suggesting that that selling keita at 10m less means actually cost liverpool much more than 10m?
Once again, your knowledge is very much appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - What I am saying is unrelated to any randomly guessed £10M. The cost of buying Keita was way more significant that the supporters realise.}

I heard an interesting rumour that Liverpool may be raiding Chelsea again this summer for Jay Dasilva, the young left back who has been loaned out a lot during his time with Chelsea, He is currently on loan at Bristol City and we have had scouts watch Lloyd Kelly. He seems a decent player from what I have seen.

I'd take Lloyd Kelly. Covers LB and LCB.
Lets go for Dael Fry as well. Covers RCB and RB.
Allows us to let one of Lovren/ Matip go and upgrades on our current backup fullback options without having to break the bank.
Maybe will give us adequate funds to go out and get someone like Bruno Fernandes (our preferred option for the CAM role) who will no doubt cost a lot of money.

We already have a young player that covers RB and CB in Hoever. I thought he did well personally when he came on against Wolves in the cup. Gomez isn’t exactly a veteran himself and he also covers RB and CB.

I can tell you DaSilva will be joining Bristol permanently. They have an option to buy which includes a buy-back for Chelsea and they put this in last summer. The Assistant Manager has confirmed this at least once to BBC Radio Bristol.

{Ed002's Note - If the player doesn't agree it doesn't happen.}

Interesting you say that Ed002. Judging on DaSilva's comments a few weeks ago, he seemed very happy at Bristol. One to watch for the summer.

{Ed002's Note - Well if Chelsea don’t make a proposal to him he will make the move to Bristol.}
