Krisztian Adorjan has joined FC Groningen officially, on a year long loan with an option to buy. Groningen will pay an amount for the loan.

Just thought I would point that out amid all the Suarez chaos.

The real AG

Believable45 Unbelievable11

Allways thought he had a chance to be honest.

Agree2 Disagree0

Shame, think he will make it

Agree2 Disagree0

It's a loan. He still can make it after getting first team experience.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good work by the club on these loans - Adorjan, Ngoo, Coady, Suso

Ed02, do you know about the bernard situation and can Liverpool play any part in it? {Ed002's Note - As far as I am concerned it remains what I previously said.}

Hey Eds, I hear a rumour that we bid for Ilicic but he prefers to go to Fiorentina. Is it true he is very close to Fiorentina and did we show very much interest? Thanks {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

Believable6 Unbelievable19

Arsenal to turn their attention to Bernard after failing in their attempts to sign Suarez.

please Ed001/2 After BR saying that we are in for a LB, Is there genuine interest in Cissokho? If not, then who do you think we might be looking at?
El Capitano {Ed001's Note - we have a long standing interest in him, so it would make sense if he is a target. I don't know if the stories of a loan deal are true, I am trying to find out though.}

Believable25 Unbelievable12

Liverpool have been linked with Ryan Bertrand, Danny Rose and Luke Shaw.
Could we be going be going for a home grown left back to compete with Enrique?

Agree1 Disagree2

Linked and going for are two different things. But the Bertrand link seemed to have legs.

Ed02 is it true that borini might be leaving to go to lazio? {Ed002's Note - I don't know anything of it. It strikes me as an odd destination.}

Believable17 Unbelievable39

Didn't he play for Roma? That would be risky move.

Agree3 Disagree0

Why the hell would we want rid? He just made the Euro U21 team of the tournament. For a reason. He's. Very. Good. Hope the doubters soon realise they need to give players a chance before judging them. 1 season with 2 lengthy injuries is no basis for judgement.

Agree5 Disagree2

Lazio? As ed says, sounds like a odd distination, when AS Roma's biggest rivals is Lazio

Agree0 Disagree1

I say give the boy another season and some encouragement. He'll come good.

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm an Everton fan (non bitter one by the way). I have a mate who follows Chelsea everywhere, and he says you have one good player on your books there! He was gutted he was rejected by Chelsea, give him a chance Brendan!

Ed02, with Dortmund having signed Henrik M and saying their business is done for this summer, do you think Eriksen may now have changed his views, and be more favorable about moving to lfc?
And do you believe there is any substance behind the rumours of Liverpool being interested enough to make an approach for him? {Ed002's Note - It is AC Milan he has been in discussions with.}

Believable24 Unbelievable11

Ed, I read on tv that Honda is on his way to AC Milan. If this is true, would you expect Eriksen to end up at Anfield? {Ed052's Note - I believe they want both}

Agree1 Disagree1

Thanks ed052 {Ed052's Note - No problem}

Agree0 Disagree0

If AC Milan are successful with Erikson will they still be interested in Honda when he is available?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I read on tv that Honda is on his way to AC Milan. If this is true, would you expect Eriksen to end up at Anfield? {Ed002's Note - The transfers are unrelated - this was dealt with a week or two ago.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If ACM couldn't afford Strootman, how can they afford both Honda and Eriksen?

Agree0 Disagree0

I swer Honda is on a free transfer? Also eriksen might be the signing tgey intended to target in the first place, you should never believe rumours mate {Ed002's Note - Honda will be arriving in January when he is free.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It wasn't a rumour ACM couldn't afford Strootman, the vice-president of ACM said he was too expensive. He went to Roma for ~£15m, which is pretty much what Eriksen will cost, so how would they sanction a deal which is almost exactly the same as the one they said they couldn't afford? The answer. they won't Eriksen will not move to ACM.

Agree2 Disagree0

The ACM VP said Strootman was too expensive. That means ACM did not think he was worth the asking price. This is not the same as not being able to afford buying him.

SpudRed

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather have Bernard.

Ed02 do you still think Real will come up with an acceptable offer for suarez? or is he arsenal bound {Ed002's Note - I am expecting Real MAdrid to make an offer - acceptable or not is another matter.}

Believable23 Unbelievable9

He's Arsenal bound

Agree0 Disagree1

I bet he stays one more year. If we qualify for CL, he stays past this season. If we do not, he moves on next summer without a doubt.

Agree2 Disagree0

How the hell is he arsenal bound? They do this all the time, announce an interest in big name players to get season tickets sold and then something happens to make it fall through. Weren't they just finalising a deal for Higuain a week or so ago? What happened to that? Didn't Wenger come out and announce that paying Rooney's wages wouldn't be a problem for them? As if they would ever be in for Rooney, that would be £200k a week out of the shareholders pockets and that wold never be sanctioned. Same with Suarez! Not a chance in hell!

Hi eds, As per the previous post, if you're not aware if any fee being agreed for erickson, do you know if we have at least made an offer? {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any offer being made at this time.}

Guessing the reports claiming we've agreed an £18m fee for Eriksen are wrong yet again eds?
Toddythered {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any fee being agreed at this time.}

Believable19 Unbelievable16

18m seems a bit high.

Agree0 Disagree2

Ed are we actually still interested in eriksen as we don't seem to be challenging Milan for his signature or is he not the preferred choice? Cheers {Ed002's Note - As I have said, I am not aware of any thoughts of a bid at this time. I would think that the club would be interested, but Milan are trying as well.}
