{Ed022's note - brand new player profile on Ibrahim Affelay. www.player-profiles.co.uk - enjoy all}

Eds, why do you tease the liverpool fans by putting up player profiles and then advertising it on their page? mind you theres nothing wrong with window shopping! {Ed001's Note - he is just a big tease, you should see what he is like at the weekends in his high heels, fishnets and miniskirt.....}

Lol nice one

How can people disagree with what the Eds saying - its a bloody profile?!! Numptys

hi ed, liverpool might have interest in isla from undinese but could we be watching there star man di natale? i know he is old but he will certinatly put the ball in the back of the net. {Ed002's Note - I would be most surprised if Di Natale were a target at 34 or 35.}

22 Mar 2012 19:37:25
eds, are there any players that we're interested in who we might sign on a pre-contract?
YNWA {Ed002's Note - None that I am aware. It would have to be a player from abroad who is out of contract in the summer. Very unlikely.}

Any interest in farfan? {Ed002's Note - Assuming Farfan does move, I expect Italy with Inter, Juventus, Palermo or Roma most likely. However, interest from England will not be out of the question and several clubs (Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea to name but three) are looking for wide players. Schalke made it clear that they would sell in January for 7M euros, but a niggling injury kept buyers away. As such, he will be available for a free transfer this summer.}

22 Mar 2012 19:33:27
Do Liverpool have any interest in Marc Andre-ter Stegen from Gladbach? He's an excellent young GK. Would love to see us buy and loan him.

Scouts are monitoring a 17-year-old Danish lad from Ollborg or something. Maybe another under-the-radar youth signing :>

Drigan

Its Aalborg and the boys's name is Lucas Andersen

Lucas Andersen? Hope thats true! He looks like a talent. Speaking of danes - I hope we look at Viktor Fischer too.

Andersen is from Agger's former club!

Drigan

And Eriksen too! Love Denmark, from an English man.

No he is not... Agger came form Brøndby, and Lucas Andersen is from AaB (Aalborg)

AAlborg is the club and the name of the player is Lucas Andersen. His is an attacking wing or center player.

Lucas Andersen is definately one of the 2-3 most promising talents in the Danish league. He's a winger

Could Hoilett and Affelly be targets this summer eds and what were liverpool doing last night 2-0 up and we cocked it up {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

Where is this search function? {Ed003's Note - Top of the page under the headline 'Search' }

Hi Eds.

If Kenny was to go (I don't want him to though) would Unai Emery be considered in your opinion. His record at Valencia has been brilliant considering all their financial problems an he has save them from collapsing badly.

Cheers

GJ {Ed002's Note - I really have no idea if he would or not. Sorry.}

If kenny goes I think with the money he has spent and the team this year he needs to go it obvious he is just not good enough

Great shout. Emery has done a fantastic job considering Valencia's problems. He had to sell their best players each year, but still kept them competing near the top of La Liga. He's young and passionate, and could be what AVB was supposed to be 'the next big thing'.

Mick D

If Kenny leaves then I would want Benitez back without hesitation. If Benitez had little bit of money we would have been champions by now.

Our team performances have been terrific this season. We've play some fantastic stuff and dominated most teams we've played. That is what KD has done.

Where we have fallen short is our inability to convert the chances we've created. Nothing more than that. That's the fault of the strikers primarily. KD can't do their job for them. What we need is a goalscorer, not a new manager.

After the Carling cup final, the owners expressed their support for KD, indicating that they know the fault is not with him. Please put this rumour to bed, it's not true, just the frustrations of a few fans who haven't learnt how to handle not getting what they want.

We can't keep going back to previous managers. It's just silly and not how an ambitious club should be run.

There are good, young managers out there. One of them is just a few miles away, in Wales.

any news on loans eds? isnt today the deadline? thanks. {Ed002's Note - Nothing at all.}

How disappointing {Ed002's Note - What were you expecting?}

Loan deal for messi perhaps?

Perhaps some youngsters getting the first team football they deserve?

I think some of you need to be realistic with the names that you are throwing around on here, i mean as if Martinez and Muniain would sign when they're being chased by all the big European clubs, with Champions League football to offer.

I totally agree, REALISTIC is something may posters on here forget. The fact is we have had a very poor season. The team and manager etc have to take the blame and no one else. We won't be signing superstars as they won't come to us when other teams are in the champs league end of. We may be lucky in signing a few with potenetial but most of these players have been identified by bigger clubs who can offer more. My final point is that we have gone backwards if anything, a league cup....c'mon is that REALISTIC for LFC so far this season?! Last night against QPR was an embarrasment and so also is the fact that we are behind the likes of Newcastle in the league who spent no where near what we did in the summer and a bit a head of Everton who bought nobody! We can whinge on about injuries and Suarez suspension etc but other clubs have gone through the same and are above us. Face facts fella's we are in poor shape as a club at the mo and superstar footballers will see this.

Newcastle are ahead simply because they spent better, they bought better players for the money involved. We could all probably think of loads of players who are available for good prices and could do a good job rather than pipe dreams about the likes of Martinez.

Look it's definitely not impossible remeber Falcao? Reportedly Real Madrid Barca Chelsea all wanted him had the option of staying with Porto and playing in the Champions league. Where did he end up with Atletico who didn''t even have Champions league. What I mean is players don't always think the same way some of you all does. It may be the exception but still possible

I totally agree - good post. Liverpool will not be able to attract these type of quality players. they failed to qualify for champs league last year resulting in Henderson, Adam and Downing being their major summer signings. Expect similar type average signings again this summer (if any)

Players like Falcao are in a minority, don't kid yourself, players have agents who want the best deal for their players (and themselves), the post re Newcastle only underlines what I am saying, we are supporsed to be a big club and they can identify talent better than we can when we have KD and Commolli. Somethings not right. On paper we have a top squad but they fail to perform thats down to the players themselves, the manager and backroom staff etc. Superstars won't come to us end of. I agree average signings again in the summer. In a lot of ways I hope I am wrong. Brownie YNWA

Eds,
Could Jorge Jesus from SL Benfica replace Dalglish as manager for next season? {Ed002's Note - As I said previously Jorge Jesus is looking to move at some point although his success this year makes it less likely it will be this summer.}

Great idea, let's fire the best manager we've had since Dalglish was in charge last time and replace him with a young portugese manager with no experience in this league. Perhaps he could be the new Villas Boas.

Berk!

He's isn't young he is in his 50s I think.

But I agree though I do not want Kenny to go. Although Unai Emery seems tempting.

Yes he is very young!
He is 57, hopeless!

Haha best manager since Kenny last time? Nonsense. Another hapless LFC fan living in the old days. You were probably guttered when we won the champs league in 2005, so the phrase in 'my day' became irrelevant. WE ARE 7TH!

7th and in danger of being overtaken by Swansea , no disrespect but its thier first season in the Prem and they have spent a tiny fraction of what KD has spent!! (they also play better football)

22 Mar 2012 14:20:38
Local newspaper mentioned that Dzeko might go to Real Madrid, with Higuain (sorry about spelling) going the other way.
Do you think Dzeko might be a viable option for LFC, he has scored a few, and I do rate him.
Food for thought.

No i think he's flopped at City, yeah he's knocked a couple in but he's just a big useless lump....

O wait no he's a nailed on signing then!

Can't get any bigger or more useless than the ponytailed assasin imo, the stats don't lie.....

No chance - too similar to Carroll (albeit better quality)

Hi eds,

Theres loads of rumours going around on social networking sites and other liverpool websites that fenway are planning an emergency board meeting is there any truth in this. I hope Kenny does not get sacked but i would not be shocked if he did due to our league position.

Red raj {Ed001's Note - I have heard nothing about that.}

Only idiots would even consider getting rid of Dalglish. FSG aren't idiots. Lots of posters on here fit that description though.

They sacked Hodgeson quick enough and his record is comparable to Dalglish this season.
Carling Cup aside there really has not been any improvement in the team despite Kenny having a much bigger budget and a calmer working environment in which to work.
Whilst I'm not calling for him to be sacked I do think that some people have this blindness to Dalglish when it comes to his position and record this season which at the rate we are going is going to be worse off than last season which had the "terrible" Hodgeson in charge for the majority.

I simply can't see why some moan at the very suggestion from others that Dalglish could be sacked when in reality there has been little to no improvement in league results from when Hodgeson was in charge, someone who everyone wanted out.
Billy

It's obviously not true because why would Fenway call and emergency meeting. There is no emergency. If they decided to get rid of Dalglish they would do so at the end of the season after the FA Cup run. No one coming in now will change our league position greatly so it would be pointless. All a load of balls!

I think you answered your own question there mate, in the simple fact that you put "on social network sites" ... because John Henry is going to tweet that he is calling an emergency meeting isnt he!!

I think he should stay and try and win the FA cup. Maybe with a few signings we could become better next season.

Red raj

If Hodgson were in charge now, everybody would be calling for his head despite the cup sucesses. Dalglish seems to be able to walk on water with Liverpool even though their league form is shocking for a team thats spent £100m

We`re playing a lot better style of football under kenny than we ever did under woy

Did hodgson win the carling cup then? unbelievable last post!

I think you need to chill out on KK he has done very well in both cups and we have a very good chance of taking the FA cup.. plus weve been very unlucky in front of goal from poor finishing hitting the post and penalties! Gerrard out for a long time! i think we trust KK and hopefully he will sign some cheap quality players?!?

We're a goal scorer away from being in the CL places. if we'd had more luck in front of goal this year we'd be in a much better position. it's not like we're languishing in the relagtion zone. some of you armchair fans obviously haven't seen our performances for the most part this season. 5 minutes on motd isn't exactly a fair reflection

Whilst I don't think he would be sacked (mutual step down and back to ambassador role). Its clear that it's not working properly! £100m+ spent with very little quality / success. We are at times dreadful with no imagination. Predictable beyond belief. This season has been very poor. Oh, we won the carling cup, fair enough but only just!

Re: "did Hodgson win the carling cup?" - two questions for you mate: "How much Rafa had to spend to get the second spot in the league and to win the FA cup?" second question: "if 100 million gets us Carling Cup, how much wud be required to secure CL place?"

How much to secure a champions league place you ask, maybe the amount Citeh have spent?
Maybe it hasn't been spent completely wisely, but we have a better team than last season.
We can't buy players you lot want without champions league football, so we have to put a squad together to get us closer to our goal. A bit like Tottenham have done over the past seasons.

So yes let's sack Kenny and get a new manager who will want to build again and we'll be back to square one.

Net spend i approx £45 Million. That was raffa's go to argument in his time in charge, so dont go backing him over kenny.

I think if KK HADN'T made some of the signings, we'd be in a better position. Love them or hate them, we scored goal after goal playing Suarez up front flanked by Maxi, Raul and Kuyt. We looked the like world-cup finalist Dutch the way the four of them flowed round the positions - and that was without stevie G!

It's constantly trying to push henderson, downing and carrol that have dropped the ball on our attacking prowess, and in doing so has stunded Kuyt and Maxi's form.

regardless of carroll/hendersons 'potential' or Rauls' much commented on lack of defensive ability, we were so much better at the end of last year than we are now.

also, RE the Carling Cup, isnt that just regarded as a 'quick win'? what top four teams regularly push for the CC? and who out of city, united, chavski, spuds or gooners would trade a top 4 spot for the CC? none of them!

Keep the faith people. Carling Cup in the bag and another return to Wembley. Yes the league form is bad but think about the cup runs playing on fitness, Gerrard out for a bit, Lucas out for the remainder and Agger out as usual. We have hit the woodwork more than any other team and have seen the opposition Goalkeeper's perform against us time and time again. Suarez out through suspension aswell. What other team in the league have similar stats? We haven't had luck on our side this season. 2 signings for a Striker that can score and natural right winger and we have a decent team. We have proved this season that we can win cups and say that we treated them with respect. Our league form has suffered and think that we should concentrate on this next season. Once we are back in for a top 4 finish, we can attract better players. We have the foundations to go on and build on the successes of this year. Concentrating on the positives will iron out the negatives. YNWA!

So who would we want/get to repalce kk
Louis van Gaal?
AVB?
Rafa?
any other suggestions?

No one stop being fickle and get your head sorted.

mighty reds

Whoever LFC were to get to replace Kenny, you would want them sacked after a few bad results. Fickle, fickle fans.

No-one. we already have the best man for the job.

Definately the best man for the job is in place

Pardoe

Didnt said i agree with KK out just responding to other posts

I don't want kk to go, but unfortunately at this time I just don't think he has what it takes now, too many bad games, to lose to sunderland was shocking then play great against arsenal and lose and then last night, just not consistent enough. Its not exactly a new squad any more, they have had nearly a whole season together.

We play some good stuff at times, but just can't convert the chances. agree with the above points just hope Kenny's given the funds to bring in a right winger and a striker who knows where the net is!

Brendan Rodgers would be great at Liverpool!
He needs a chance at a big club and i would love to see us playing that style of football.

So if you want to replace someone who has not matched expectation youre fickle?

I seriously expect the owners to cut their losses with kenny at seasons end. from a puerly business perspective, the results havent matched their outlay on buying the club and player transfers. someone will need to take the fall for this and it will and should be kenny !

Steve

Why sack Kenny after last season he got us from the relegation battle we were in to 7th and then his first full season our first trophy in 6years? We're not doing bad in the league but it's a building process that unfortunately takes time.
I guess these so called Liverpool fans want a Chelsea approach, win the league or you're out, pathetic!

Lets be honest , for the amount spent the league performance is way below expectation. Would you sacrifice both cup runs for 4th or above in the league??

As much as I'm a fan of Kenny and honestly thought he was the one to turn us around. I think 9 defeats in one season (6 since the turn of the year) is far too much for Liverpool, on present form he needs to win 21 points from our last nine to match Rafa's record (which got him sacked). The only problem is if he goes whoever comes in is stuck with his expensive flops...

Would take any of the 3 you mentioned or Klopp of Borussia Dortmund

I believe Kenny will get next season with whatever signings they have lined up in the summer.

If it isn't working after that, then I can see a change.

League form has been awful since Gerrard came back “ that's a fact. Is he past it? People say he was excellent against Everton “ he was OK. He was in the right place at the right time for two of his goals which were tap ins.

However, whatever way you look at it and not focus on the last few weeks, Kenny has still brought us forward. We have won a trophy, we have a great chance of a second trophy, we are in Europe next year, and we have improved in the league since he took over again.

I think we are just impatient. We want success now. It ain't gonna happen. We won't be challenging for the top spot for a few years yet.

But stuff like last night shows there are still some lumps and bumps from Hodgsons reign to iron out.

Yes if the man was hired to undergo a massive rebuild after a long, traumatic period and has only been in the job for 14 months.

TSP

AVB for me, young continental manager that can speak multiple languages, thus communicate with the spanish and english players seamlessly. Great success at Porto and can build a dynasty at liverpool. Carrying on with KK is suicide from a commercial point of view, he's nowhere near good enough for this club, bringing success up from 22 years ago, is like signing Maradona now for what he did in the 80's.....it's absurd.

If Bill Shankly or Bob Paisley (god rest their souls) were to miraculously come back and manage the club, it would only be a matter of time before the clowns wanted them sacked. Nobody is going to bring the league title back to Liverpool after one full season in charge, it's going to take many years I'm afraid with more bad results to come along the way. Get behind Kenny and the team and give it a rest with all this sack Kenny cr*p.

Sadly, I agree that Dalglish isn't the man to take us forward.

our league form is abysmal and has been for quite a long while now,

he has made some more poor team selections and seems to be inept tactically.

with the money that was spent and the struggling of other teams you'd expect us to be at least top 4.

the importance of that wasted money should not be underestimated.

for years now all LFC fans have screamed for big money to be spent,and finally it has been and we are in the exact same position of the previous seasons.

we're sitting in the exact same position,needing heavy investment in the squad and top quality players being brought it.

with 100M+ being spent that is simply unacceptable.

our league form sine January has been relegation contenders stuff...

our last 13 games Won 3 Drawn 4 Lost 6.

that is Hodgson-esque stuff... if this was anyone but Kenny in charge there would be mass outcry for him to be sacked.

it seems you can't reasonably criticise Kenny without being called a fake fan,or fickle,or that you love Hodgson.

Hodgson wasn't the man for the job. everyone knows that.

ask yourself honestly with an open mind.

is Kenny doing much better,giving the conditions both were working under?

the club is alot more stablised since FSG came here,something Kenny seems to take credit for.

we may not fight a relegation battle under Kenny,but we're alot closer to that than we are of a Champions League final or semi final,or a 4-0 win over Real Madrid.

that was ONLY 3 years ago. ask yourself can you seriously see us being in the Champions League anytime soon. never mind a Semi-Final.

Kenny is Tactically inept.
He obviously hasn't got a great eye for a player.

His insistence of buying British is embarassing, thats before the fee's are mentioned. which is face palm stuff.

I wouldnt be surprised if we finish behind the likes of Swansea,Everton etc....

Kenny has slightly improved on the Hodgson era, but when compared to the Rafa era...

i leave you with this...

we're 20 points off the bottom of the table...

and 28 points off the top...

we're 12 points away from the top 4..

and 9 points off 16th place...
{Ed001's Note - and your lack of knowledge is disturbing. What 'buy British' policy are you referring to? The one that brought in Suarez, Enrique and Coates possibly?}

Just because we won the Carling Cup doesn't make this season a success. Would anyone consider Birmingham's season last year a success? The goal of the season was to get back in to champions league and we probably wont even come close to that goal.

Roy Hodgson had a Points per game ratio of 1.25 in the league which finishes at about 45 or 46 points....

Kenny Dalglish this season has a 1.44 points per game ratio which finishes at about 54 ...

with the amount of money Kenny has spent getting an extra 10 or so points in the league is woeful stuff...

Sorry lets be honest here but if we got into the champions league who honestly thinks we won't get spanked? Fickle fans, even if we lose every game till the end of the season I will back kenny into next season and the season after that and after that. We have played brilliantly most of the year, we just lack a cutting edge if we had that cutting edge we would be in the top 4 by a mile. He can have as much time as he needs

The amount of crap players Kenny got rid of is amazing,he's building his own team and should be given at least 3 more years,all yous fickle fans should go support another team because yous are a disgrace to our great club,Kenny is the man for the job.End of story.

How long, and how much did Man city take and spend before they won anything or challenged for the Prem, How many managers have Chelsea had and how much have they spent. I thinkwe just need a few more players ,one being a "natural" goalscorer..Have some patience we don't want to be a soulless club like Chelsea

{Ed001's Note - and your lack of knowledge is disturbing. What 'buy British' policy are you referring to? The one that brought in Suarez, Enrique and Coates possibly?}

the one that lead us to pay 35M for a striker that scored 9 PL goals prior to us signing him...

the one that lead us to pay 20M pounds for a winger that a quick look at statistics would have shown he's not worth 5 Million never 20M...

The one that lead us to paying 20M for a player who,although shows slight promise every now and again,is no where near good enough for our first team,never mind the first team of teams above us...

if you genuinely believe we couldnt have got better value elsewhere,not only do you lack knowledge,you're deluded.

we could have got three better plays for half the price we paid for Downing.

in fact,we had three better players already at the club previously who have been shipped off...

as much as it pains me to say this

N'Gog > Carroll

Aquliani,Meireles, orCole >

Adam,Henderson

Jovanovic = Downing..
{Ed001's Note - you know what, I can't be bothered, this post of yours is so imbecilic it is not worth the effort of pointing it out.}

I am very happy with KK.
He needs time to get things right, any manager would!.

Shankly's Red Army.

Blind loyalty is as bad as fickle fans,kneejerk fans. Whatever the fans want/think (the fanbase is becoming divided at the mo) we have to think of how FSG will look at this season and John Henry said CL qualification was the min target and we're nowhere near that , we prob wont finish in the top half of the table, I wouldnt be suprised if Kenny was moved upstairs in an ambasadorial role with a young manager coming in. Kenny will always be a legend to us all,if he's the right man to take us forward we'll have to see.

Its interesting that the only real difference between us and the other top 4 contenders is a bit of luck, something kk has been lacking if half the shots that hit the frame this season had gone in we would be in a much better position, just think also where would arsenal be without rvp goals

either way it proves that we need more firepower up top, the board and kk know this, tried to address in jan and will deff sort it this summer.

we have waited twenty odd years for the title, give kk a few more and he will land it.

there is a complete rebuild occuring at our club dont underestimate how long a journey that is

try not to forget we are called supporters

How can you label fans fickle for having an opinion that differs to yours!! I have supported LFC for 35 years now and was along for the ride in KD's first stint as manager. The overpriced signings that have failed (over £100 million) , the current league position (afterall this is what we are supposed to be about) and to be out of the race for 4th let alone a challenge for the title in March isnt acceptable!! Its not a blip its , well you tell me?? If the Carling cup is acceptable for the outlay then thats where we are??

KD should not be above critisism , no one is bigger than the club. I have the upmost respect for KD but please , why accept the current standards , if it was anybody else in charge there would be uproar!! (just ask Roy H).

Loving the reply ED001. The guy has a point though, it's hard to argue that we've overspent on English players, although not English Enrique spent 4 years at Newcastle and Suarez deal was already in motion before KK took over. We could've had better value by looking abroad, were we spent £35m on Carroll, Man City got Aguero, for the £20m we spent on Henderson, Chelsea bought Mata. For Adam, see Cabaye at Newcastle.

Obviously you've to expect that every manager gets signings wrong, however, it just seems that KK has got more wrong that right.

{Ed001's Note - you know what, I can't be bothered, this post of yours is so imbecilic it is not worth the effort of pointing it out.}

Well judging from your reaction to any negative post towards Kenny Dalglish in the last few weeks/months no one should dare criticise him...

Your mind isn't even open enough to realise why people may doubt him...

ED002 is the only one who talks sense. Is he a Liverpool fan?

I'm obviously not the only one here who thinks this person is a nob.

So we lost to Arsenal. So we lost to QPR.

We hammered them but didn't convert our chances. There's so few games this season that we haven't deserved to win that it's ridiculous. Once we get some one to convert those chances we'll soar up the table. Goals will increase, wins will increase, points will increase and confidence will increase.

Hopefully, then your posts will decrease.

Ed001 I believe you are a Liverpool supporter what is your honest opinion of the season so far? I am not looking to start a fight or anything just looking for some other intelligent conversation. My opinion 42 points through 29 games is a horrible point total so far for how much we invested in the team. I understand KD has really emphasized building for the future but our league form is just unacceptable. {Ed001's Note - it is not good, but it is not as disastrous as some seem to make out. It is early days, we had a large turnover of players and they need time to learn to play as a team. But it can't go on indefinitely.}

For arguments sake let's say Kenny goes at the end of the season. Then FSG appoint Benitez or AVB (or whoever is flavour of the month come summer-time) FSG give them a large transfer kitty, they spend it on the players they believe can do a job for LFC. Then a year down the line after a few bad results and we fail to gain a top 4 spot do FSG sack them and start yet again from scratch? I for one do not want LFC to be sacking managers every year or 18 months because that is no way to run a football club. Just look at Man Utd and the backing Taggart has had to see that stability & patience brings long term success. Wise up fellas and think long term. {Ed002's Note - Or you could look at Chelsea who have had a great deal of success changing managers when things are not working out.}

Kenny is King...Get a grip people, I think we forget that it is the players on the pitch that are under performing and throwing results away, I say dock their wages when they can't get results! If KK gets sacked I'll spew and I agree that people are so fickle, KK can get us back to where we should be and that is the top of the pile we just need to be patient and realistic! Rant over

I'd sack him for spending 35 million on Carroll, what other incentive does anyone need? AVB, Rafa or Ancelotti....

If some of you heart ruling head Liverpool fans don't think Dalglish's signings have been pitiful then your clearly isane. 7th in the league? Some of you idiots would support Dalglish if we were relegated.

If kenny was to go (I don't want him to) I think AVB would be perfect for the job. I don't care what people say, he is a good manager. He is young, and given the time and his own signings he could be exactly what the owners are looking for to build a team for the future.

I personally don't think Kenny is the man to continue to lead us after this season. I am not stating we should sack him.

He has been as many have pointed out tactically inept this season. We have been so inconsistent, but do people forget that we have struggled this way for years even when challenging under Rafa and this possibly cost us dear at that time.

The club is a lot more stable now and there is money to spend. I think we should look to a young manager who we can give the next five years to. It won't be something that happens overnight but we have the correct platform for success.

The other point I would like to make that I think is worth considering if KK continues. Look at the type of football we have played under him, look at the games we have controlled, and done so comfortably? We are missing one massive thing....The ability to kill off teams with a ruthlessness that champions have. If Kenny and Camoli could bring in the quality of players to do this for us and a more creative nature, would we be that far away?

Look at Man City and the money they have spent, I maybe wrong but they have took 4 years to get to were they are now. They struggled with inconsistency a year or two ago! Think about these things because stability can bring success with the right man in front!

If someone did take over....I would take either Klopp or Brendon Rogers! Brendon has impressed me with the way he is and his whole way of trying to play the game!

Anyway sorry to go on, leave ED1 alone!

Cheers, Great site eds

As much as i adore Kenny i dont think his upto management i know im going to get slatted for this but his spent a great deal of time out of football and how football has changed since his absences. Wrong player signings, poor form no doubt DC had other players in mind when the spending spree began but kenny wouldnt have a bar of it.

The special one jose marhino

Well I don't think any of you have the right to call some fans Fickle at all. Think about it Newcastle are higher than us , Swansea not far behind and we've spent 75 million combined on 'English Talent' ? We have some eligible players available to have a shot of a first team opportunity.

It's alright saying we battered teams but it this going to be a continuous event? Battering teams and getting beaten? Are tactics haven't been spot on either

Although I agree with some posters that some of the buys Kenny has made were ludicrous but I think he deserves at least one more season at the helm. That aside if he was to go Bielse is the man I believe we should get. Awesome coach.
Tony

Love kk he's a legend , respect what he did for the club even thought I wasn't around back then to appreciate it fully , but I think long term kenny is not the man ( poor tactical decisions and poor signings have assured me of this ) however if we do not sack him at the end of the season or if he doesn't go up stairs I would at least look to appoint some sort of young interim coach to take charge after next season ( one year before kk final year contract ) who would be the successor to truly start our project with our young prospects I.e. sterling and co that should be playing ahead of the crap we brought I.e. Adam way overpaid decent downing and hmmm Carroll
now ahead of the crap we have bought

You have my full suport kenny

Chelsea had more success than us the last few years when they were changing managers. The problem with them was that they did not stand up to the managers they brought them success i.e Ancelotti, Hiddink(Hiddink wanted to leavE). Other than that I don't see any problem with them. OR maybe should I point Arsenal with Wenger and his policy(who our owners admire). How many years has it been for him to win a title?

IDIOT. KD is the only man to available that knows how to win the premier league

Ed can you see Liverpool bidding for the following in the summer?

Soldado
Tello.
Martinez.
Munain.

Would answer a hell of a lot to of our problems of late.

It would be a big outlay but likely a necessary outlay.

Jonesred {Ed002's Note - These players have been dealt with ad nauseum - I would not hold your breath about them all moving to Liverpool this summer.}

I wouldnt hold my breath with any decent players coming to liverpool any time soon

Hi ed It's saying on SSN that ayre had said that top 4 won't change the transfer policy. {Ed002's Note - Which means what is real terms?}

Transfer policy is to buy young players who's value won't have decreased when they come to the end of their contract.

Morning Eds

if we sell or release the likes of
Maxi,Cole,Aquilani,Kuyt, etc etc,

Do you think that we will just go out and purchase two players
Striker
Right winger

or will we promote from the reserve team to fill the roles ?

REDFORLIFE {Ed002's Note - It is not possible to say what will happen in terms of numbers. I would expect a right winger and a striker to arrive. I expect a goalkeeper and after that we don't know yet as it is only March.}

Our existing player is much more better compare to new player..wasted on british player transfer

Will m.philips be the most probable right winger? he's still young and will a more experienced one come? {Ed002's Note - We really cannot say who the "most probable" player is but there is interest in Phillips.}
