Eds I have a very serious question for you which probably a man or men depending on how many eds there are can only answer,
What are the chances of Erikksen not coming to Anfield this summer.?
Also what does daylight saving really mean if we have not got enough saved up so we don't have to have night? {Ed002's Note - The chances are good of Eriksen not coming this summer.}

Evening Ed002 do you know if there have been any CB options identified by the club {Ed002's Note - Beyond those that the club has looked at (de Vrij and Gardos) I don't know. But it is early Chris.}
{Ed002's Note - Lovren is also attracting interest from a number of English clubs and has been watched by representatives of Sunderland, Everton, Chelsea, Stoke and Liverpool in addition to Barcelona and Hamburg. With Hamburg close to agreeing a deal for a centre back I suspect their interest will drop off. He could well be available at the right price in the summer, but Aulas will look for a higher fee from English sides if he sells - perhaps why he has explained which clubs have shown an interest in Lovren.}

Hello Eds, just wondering with Bayern being interested in Suarez, are there any players of Bayern that Liverpool are interested in? Could we possibly work a swap deal in with them?

Hi ed. Not really related to lfc but is their any other top top players bayern are interested in signing during the summer. I understand bale suarez and falcoa are targets but who else? Will any big name players be leaving bayern?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - The list of players Bayern Munich are interested in reads something like this: Bale, Oezil, Goetze, Turan, Suarez, Busquets, Falcao, Mertens, Caballero, Isco, Vidal. Obviously they won't sign them all.
Leaving, amongst others, will likely be Ribery, Pizarro, Gomez and Robben.}
Eds, with a swap deal unlikely, do you think that there may be a "first option" on a player considering he is our best player after all.
I may be pushing the boat out a bit far with this one, but perhaps Toni Kroos or Thomas Muller? {Ed002's Note - No that won't happen either. If Liverpool wants one of the Bayern Munich has available they have to take the tried and trusted route of negotiating the transfer.}
Wish our list looked like that. Looks like Guardiaola gets to play FIFA in real life.

I thought the club had learned from there mistakes but if they are going for ince then they clearly haven't.

We should get that zenit player axel Wiesel he seemed a good player with a lot of skill and potential lilt spurs dembelle and evertons fellani these Belgiums have got some good players. {Ed002's Note - Way too expensive and only moved in the summer.}

I hope we keep pepe reina he is still class and the we play around with the ball at the back he's by far the best gk in the world with his feet

I feel happier with brad jones and so does our defence
Anyone who prefers Brad Jones to Reina is clearly an ignoramous or taking potent halluginogenic drugs. Reina is still one of the best keepers in europe, performed magnificently in FA Cup & Champs League penalty shoot ous, won 3 consecutive golden gloves and broke all of Ray Clemence's records. Jones is at best a third rate journeyman.

He played great in the champions league, like when he got beat on his near post by drogba twice and then in the fa cup final when he got beat again on his near post. Or how about his rash decision to run out against aguero. We need a steady keeper not reina, he's too unreliable.
Also the fa cup and champions league shoot outs were 2006 and 2007, if you believe that we should judge players on past performances perhaps we should sign kaka, or even pele. I hear that pele guy was good in the 1960s.

is the other player higuain ed are real just looking to raise money or do they want a player from psg thanks {Ed002's Note - The other player is Higuain who PSG are interested in. They are looking to bring in money to cover their summer spending spree so a number of first team players will move on, a few arrive and some of the B Team will be promoted.}
Why would Higuain leave champions league football

Ed002 u have talked about fsg bringing in another footballing person to help rodgers out. Do u know of any people who you think could be targetted for that role? {Ed002's Note - Not with any confidence at this time. I explained that they had spoken with one person who will not be available in the short-term and I understand they are continuing to look. I suspect it will become more of a priority in the summer.}
Ed002 do u think rodgers will definately still be there to work with this footballing person? {Ed002's Note - As far as I know the situation remains, regardless of teh efforts of the fans, that the owners are not at this time looking to replace Rodgers.}
Ed002 do u think rodgers will be happy though with another footballing type person coming in as he specifically only took the job on the basis that he had full control? {Ed002's Note - I understand that he was not keen to work with a "Director of Football" type role when first recruited, but it would not be wise to turn his back on any help offered now. It has been suggested to me that he reinforced the squad with Coutinho in January on the back of a further "top four" commitment given to the board. He has on a number of occasions made statements to the press about believing the team capable of getting "top two" or "top four" and I suspect those who hang off every word uttered in interviews will not have forgotten these statements. Perhaps in the summer the board will look to bolster the management experience by bringing someone in on the footballing side to help out - and that does not mean a "Director of Football" necessarily.}

I for one am happy that the owners are not looking to replace Brendan! I think that the team has made progress during his first season, and with Suarez still hopefully here next season with Danny S I think we'll challenge for the top four! Though we need to reinforce our back four and maybe a keeper if Reina does leave! Cheers, Scouserseb

I don't think FSG is looking to replace Rodgers in thhe first instance, just add a few metaphorical "grey hairs" to counter the lack of experience among BR's team. Someone who can advise and, occasionally, challenge BR's decision making (So, Brendan, do we really need another 5 foot nothing will-o-the-wisp winger in the squad? Sort of thing)
Definitely hope we stick with BR next season. Would welcome some assistance if that's what's best for club.

A Newspaper reported Di Maria was available, if it is true who might be interested? I'm conscious his wages and the fact he wants CL football would almost certainly take Liverpool out of the equation? {Ed002's Note - Di Maria has been offered for sale to PSG as part of a package with another Real Madrid player. I would think he could also be used as bait for either Bale or Silva. It is likely his agent will approach both Manchester United and Chelsea but I am told that the player would not object to a move to Italy should the opportunity arise.}

A question for the eds. Do you know what teams are interested in Carlos Mane? Its not just the game yesterday he has impressed me, I remember him from last years NextGen when he played with Texeira. Also I seen on a website he was valued at 8m euros, is that realistic? Any replies would be appreciated. {Ed001's Note - the Porto forward? Barca were trying to get him, that is the only interest I know of though.}
He plays for Sporting Lisbon and scored two goals against us in the NextGen this week.
