Hello Ed02. A while back, you mentioned that this would be around the time things would be clearer in terms of who LFC are looking at.

I know the players you have told us about; Bertrand, Rojo, Fischer, Konoplyanka, Parejo and Firmino. Firmino is no longer an option after signing a new deal with Hoffenheim and the interest in the Kirovohrad Messi has dropped, but maybe re-visited since Firmino is no longer an option.

Anything else you are aware of?

Just offering more information provided by you.

It depends very much on youngsters coming through and how Yesil will be when fully fit. We know that the club is for a wide forward, one, perhaps two midfield players and have enquired after a left back. If players who were not expected to leave do end up moving on the club will look at the youngsters and then if necessary replace them.

There is not too much. Off the top of my head there is interest in Suarez as you know. There will be interested in Skrtel if available and Juventus have been looking at Agger. Nacional will likely be interested in Coates but it may need Liverpool to release him or let him go very cheaply. There is interest in Suso from Spain and Reina will not have a problem finding a new club.

Coates will certainly leave. Cisskho will go after his loan and Moses will probably go as well. Coady may well leave. Perhaps two of Enrique, Johnson, Agger and Skrtel may well leave. Reina will leave and there is a chance that Assaidi will leave as well.

I have seen him mentioned before I believe a while back, but do Liverpool have any interest in Pedro from Barca? I guess a lot will depend on the transfer embargo and maybe a new manager at Barca in the summer.

Seems like they will be open for business after today's announcement as the appeal won't be processed before the window. Any chance at all mate?

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United, Monaco and Juventus spoke with Madrid about Coentrao in January and Spurs had shown an interest but a chance of taking him last summer makes it look like that interest has waned. However, Real Madrid asked the player to stay until the end of the season so nothing happened in January. Certainly Jorge Mendes spoke with Liverpool in January and at that time the club said they were not interested. The player would not object to a move to Italy should the opportunity arise and Inter and Juventus may give him that opportunity, perhaps as part of a package deal that could see Morata, Coentrau and Di Maria go in an exchange for Vidal or Pogba if Real Madrid push hard enough. The player has said that without guaranteed game he would like to move and interest will still be there from Manchester United, and as Liverpool are looking for a left-back, perhaps they will bid for the player. Jorge Mendes was in Manchester and Liverpool in late January to talk to the clubs about players and was in the London at the end of March talking to another club about two different players, but as far as I know he did not meet again with Liverpool then. I would think the most likely destination is Inter Milan right now as no one else is pushing.}

Eds do you see Pjanic being of real interest from us this summer please? Also do you know if or when we made enquirys about him?

{Ed002's Note - No. PSG and Manchester City remain keen on the signing of Miralem Pjanic. Spurs are aware that he could be available at the right price - but that is very high. Manchester United also made an enquiry in the summer, but it went nowhere. Dortmund seem to have dropped their interest. It would take a very significant bid for him to move this summer and I rather think he will stay.}

Ed001, welcome back, it is apparent that Rodgers is looking for another CM this summer, surely that means someone is going as we have a lot of senior CMs i.e. Gerrard, Leiva, Henderson, Allen, Coutinho can play there along with Alberto. Do you have an idea of who we would look to move out, if any?

{Ed001's Note - right now, none are set to leave. The intention is to create more cover for injuries and loss of form. Though Alberto, maybe Teixeira too, are likely to have a loan spell at some point in the season.}
