Are we actually looking at Demarai Gray as an alternative too Brandt?

As a note, Brandt blows Gray and Malcom out the water on stats this season. We need players like him and Mane who get goals/ assists consistently from wide positions.
He racked up 11 assists and 4 goals for an average Leverkusen side who finished mid-table.
I wonder if moving Couts to the middle will have any bearing on Brandt joining to fill the vacant left midfield role. Rotation will be key next year but this might mean more of a starting berth for Brandt.

Brandt all day long over the likes of Ox, Salah or Gray as frankly they're not good enough.

Disagree on Salah, who is already a better player than Brandt. Ox and Gray simply are nowhere near good enough I agree.

Nah I would rather Salah over Brandt. Brandt probably has more future potential but salah is the better player at the moment and is more of a genuine wide player who suits our style more. I'm not sure about salah's availibitly since he just permanently moved to Roma, but if we could get him for around what we would offer for Brandt then id go for him, and at the age of 24 he is entering his prime.

But hasn't Salah mainly played Right Wing? At least, that's what I thought. we need a dedicated LW who's versatile enough to play in other positions. We already have a LB who isn't in their best position and always cuts in to cross.

For me, Malcom or Brandt. but I like that Malcom is left-footed.

Malcolm plays on the right at Bordeaux while Brandt plays on the left and that is where he wants to play at LFC should he be signed.
