Hi ed's any info of junior hoillet joining now or in summer
He has pace and quick feet (something we need), would be cheap! Plus there was rumours of him meeting commolli! Any truth plz ed's! Nice1 DHH L20 scouser! Y..N..W..A {Ed001's Note - I know there were rumours of them meeting, I don't know how true they are, but Comolli has certainly been to watch him and a couple of Blackburn youngsters too. Obviously Jones was one of those last season we were checking up on, this season I believe it is Hanley we are taking interest in, as well as Hoilett.}

21 Jan 2012 23:20:57
Krasic on loan until the Summer, then Liverpool will take Hoilett who is going to be out of contract with Blackburn in the Summer.

21 Jan 2012 23:35:47
Hoilett to join in the summer on a free.

Red 80

21 Jan 2012 23:13:18
liverpool will sign Stephan Lichtsteiner for 15million in nxt couple of days.looks like Glen Johnson,s days are numbered at the club.

Don't think so mate, we have 3 players who can play RB, do you think we would spend that sort of money on a defender when we need a striker

Hopefully Kelly just takes over

Yes, I expect that will happen.

We have absolutely zero creativity or threat going forwards, our forwards have an allergy to scoring. I imagine a RB (that we have plenty of cover for) would be the first position that we would look to strengthen.

you numpty.

YS.

Not only did he only sign for Juventus they waited patiently along with the player to get the deal done. Wise up

21 Jan 2012 23:02:55
rumours in glasgow today that liverpool have enquired about jelavic,can u confirm if its true ed and if so do u know if liverpool will bid for him {Ed001's Note - nope, I have absolutely no knowledge of any Liverpool interest in Jelavic at all.}

21 Jan 2012 22:24:16
Krasic to sign on loan in the next few days, Juventus have offered him to us, Comolli deems it too be good to refuse.

Castaignos to sign on loan - the player Macca is on about.

Suarez to return and act like a new signing - finally recovering from last summer after not having any breaks... We will see the best of him.

We are still in with a shout for fourth!! YNWA

RM

Seemed so reasonable till you mentioned 4th

LMAO ^^^

With the way that we are playing at the moment we wouldn't get fourth in the Boat Race and there are only two competitors in that.

Lets say that you know your transfer news...how would you know the following prophecy?

"Suarez to return and act like a new signing - finally recovering from last summer after not having any breaks... We will see the best of him."

I hope to god that those signings will happen - we desperately need them.

and the other comments = funny.
so reasonable til 4th & the boat race! haha. well done guys - cheered me up after that p1ss poor performance yesterday.

YS

IF Krasic could regain his form he would be a great signing !!
Dave

I said what I did about Suarez not because I know it but because Im trying to instill optimism... Also been told today that Blackburn have come back to us over Hoilett, and there is a proposed meeting scheduled on the 25th. This has put a hold on the Krasic deal.

21 Jan 2012 22:37:30
Ba to Chelsea. Friend of mine has a family member with links to Reds and North-East! Might there be a ripple effect Eds?

Yeah we'll get a pair of Didier Drogba's boots

Chelsea have lost Anelka, will lose Drogba and probably Kalou, so even if they get Ba, we're not likely to get Torres back, so therefore won't be letting Carroll go back to the Barcodes, who wouldn't even pay half of what they received for him. Any ripples won't be reaching us.

A ripple effect - are they going to buy him some bars of chocolate?

21 Jan 2012 22:05:56
will we get sow he has been a great player for lille.

21 Jan 2012 22:03:11
Hey Edds
Would you say we are defo not gonna get Roberto Soldado now and is David Texeira the most likely striker to come this transfer window.

Kieran {Ed001's Note - I would not defo say it, but it is highly unlikely and yes he certainly looks the most likely.}

21 Jan 2012 21:33:07
Suarez will leave if we dont get champions league

Of course he will you numpty

Did he tell you that?

He will be leaving then...u think he could fit carroll in his suitcase?

No he won't

Looks like he will be leaving then !!!!!!

Same as Torres... False promises from the owners, we look like a mid table team at best. shame

I know everyone is just beating this guy down because they don't want Saurez to leave, but I've got a sneaking feeling that he might.

I've heard from a few people tonight, nothing official, just from aquaintences, that Saurez doesn't want to play in England anymore, simply due to the way that the media and FA have treated the Evra escapade.

Now come on - we look like a mid table team?
thats harsh on other mid table teams, we are simply not that good.

YS

Suarez did say that he seen the premier league as a stepping stone to the big la liga teams when he joined liverpool, hes another dirk kuyt anyway, top record in holland turns into a not very impressive record in england :)

21 Jan 2012 21:28:20
Steve Kean to be new manager lol!

How can most people deem this believable - In Kenny We Trust - Y.N.W.A.

21 jan 2012 20:56:03
suarez set to leave january - kuyt set to leave summer...here comes coutinho, forlan (loan) until end of season and texeira (s.lisbon) - summertime sees the arrival of luuk de jong.

21 jan 2012 20:49:25
kenny decided he has to spend if we are going to get champions league spot so he will splash the cash i the final week of the window on

krasic-8m
tevez-24m
granero-7m

We wont get any of those players especially Tevez, his wage demands are unrealistic. Krasic is rubbish, have you even see him play? Granero will not join us, his agent linked us with him but everyone knows at this stage, we are not interested, as for your valuations, rubbish

Rocky

Did he give you a ring from the bus?

Tevez?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? u for real

ste liverpool

So Kenny left pitch side staight after the game and thought he would ring YOU - and advise of his change of heart?

Dream on and get real if all 3 of them come then i'm the new PM and i'll make Liverpool a national team with unlimited funds stop wishful thinking and put real rumours on here please

Do you realise Tevez's wages alone would be 7% of liverpools annual turnover! Un-frickin-believeable!! Are you 7

Let's call things as they are at the moment...and that is after today's performance we are not good enough to get a Europa League spot and therefore will struggle to get 90% of the targets mentioned on here.

Before I get ripped to shreds please understand that I am being realistic as our performances are worse than those at the back end of last season. We have players trying to settle in who are trying too hard on the pitch to do things on their own and we don't have a natural goalscorer.

I travel over to practically all home games and sections of fans are genuinely concerned as to the direction of the team. No-one seems to know our best eleven or formation which makes it even harder to ascertain the primary targets that we need to focus on. If todat proved anything it is that we need to replace Lucas and we need an out-and-out goalscorer.

^^^ post above - i agree 100%. we cant attract the big name players that people on here want - Cavani, Hazard etc will not be signing.

our team is a shambles - no unity and kenny doesnt even know our best team - he has his favourites, Adam & Downing. Both of them are terrible. woeful players.

I think the men upstairs will give Comolli the last word on any ins,if he can get them to come this window.As Dalglish will be moved upstairs IF 4th place isnt managed.
The last thing they want is players the old manager thought were good enough,but were not.Hanging around.

21 Jan 2012 20:17:45
Hey Eds, any chance of us swapping Carroll for Jordan Rhodes.... ;)

x

Do really think Huddersfield would accept that?

....or a packet of love hearts...

Maybe if we offered them Carroll plus 10m they would

I wouldnt for one if i were them, unless it involved a few quid added for the misery! :-D how much would we get on flea-bay for him?!

Is Jordan Rhodes worth £35million?

....Is Andy Carroll ?

In 4 years, Andy Carroll will be World Class! Shame on you fickle supporters. Y.N.W.A.

21 Jan 2012 20:10:36
any chance of us going in for dempsey , it will make us stronger in midfield , and it will go well over in america , we still need more global fans , as this will help us in the usa

About 5million added to the price after today

At the end of the day, we an buy as many foreign players as we want but if we dont get the results to back this up we are still at square one, no goals no points no success.
something needs to be done and right away

Thats why i said dempsy he score's all the time not just today pluswith him being america , t would go down well over the pond .loads of yanks with the liverpool shirt on with the dempey name on it , we could swap andy carrol for him

Isn't it just lucky that he hit a hat-trick today to back your point up? However, I do wonder, are you suggesting that we should sign Americans just to appeal to those "across the pond?"

Your basis for signing Clint Dempsey is:

1) hes American
2) he scored a hat-trick yesterday.

he is distinctly average, a few goals recently and all of a sudden you think hes brilliant and the answer to our problems. he is hardly prolific - 42 goals in 169 games for Fulham (according to Wikipedia).

YS.

We wont be buying a player on the basis that he is American and therefore a marketing tool.

get real.

21 Jan 2012 20:08:52
Luiz Suarez to Real Madrid for 30M.

As much as i wouldnt want this...it could b possible dont think hed wana stay in a team that cant even beat bolton without him

£30mill would be a steal IMHO more like £40mill considering his quality & players of similar value.

Hopefully a load of BS tho coz if we want to be successful then you don't sell ya world class players!

Double that figure

Im sorry but surely with suarez's peputayion in english football all but ruined and the possibility of higuain going the otherway i would accept that offer. dont get me wrong suarez has been brilliant but we need a goalscorer and suarez isnt that.

Ryan

Not gonna happen. Maybe in a year or 2! Not now! Suarez will stay with us to see if we get champions league and at most he will stay another season.

Suarez agent is brother of Pep Guardiola, so a move to Barcelona seems more likely in the future. Hope he stays with us next season, but if not, maybe a straight swap with David Villa !

Why on earth would LFC sell for just a 9m profit. We won't pick another player of his quality, lcky to of got him

21 Jan 2012 19:34:26
maxi is going. just heard from a good source, if not in january then it will be the summer depending on his agent. i'll be sad to see it what about you ed? {Ed002's Note - I expect him to leave in the summer.}

Instead of a Maxi why not get a Taxi a get rid off a few more, Very poor today !

Good for Maxi. At least he can go somewhere decent! I'm gonna play football manager now and sell the whole team. Tw@ts.

Can he bring the rest of the useless overpaid lot with him?
I'd be happy to pay the easyjet fare at this stage!
Taxi for Kuyt, Johnson, Adam, Downing and Carroll for a start! ;-(
5uarezTimes

I'll be glad to see him leaving. We have more than enough mediocre players we don't need and Maxi is one of them.

Exactly - fed up with some people harpin on about this player & that player NOT been good enuf to play for the Reds & yet (with no disrepect @ all) - how many of the Bolton side wouldnt be 'good enough' for us - yet as they proved (deservedly) tonite - they showed the desire to grab the 3 points they needed - attitudes MUST change - blame the manager all you want too but who crosses that white line?

Maxi is too lightweight in midfield. He does chip in with the odd goal BUT he was one of the causes of Bolton dominating our midfield tonight. Time for Taxi Maxi...thanks but your time is up.
KJS

This isnt gna change until we change the team....downing is good but ul onli see him on the ball once every 15 minz...carrol is worthless no matter what any1 says he can b at liverpool for 5 more years and he wontchange ship him end off wel suffer our losses..henderson needs 2 get loaned out hel b good ina few yrs !! D

Maxi was nothing short of shocking today

Maxi aint good enough mate simple as.

I like maxi n he wernt the only poor player 2day wasnt so long ago use wer singing his praises sayin y isnt he playin well he played had a bad game but u dnt go from good to bad in one game i await the get suarez out he was crap 2day n get gerrard out msgs ppl need to chillax. craig

21 Jan 2012 19:25:29
Hi Eds, is BBC Scotland right in saying that we are leading the chase to sign Jelavic? Also surely we should expect at least 1 first addition this month. Our squad is quite poor at the minute and we will struggle even for a Europa League spot

Cheers

Gj {Ed002's Note - I don't know if there is interest or not. Sorry.}

Thats the talk up here m8, would be good signing for you,se .

Dont worry , the club will make sure we don't get a Europa League spot .

The only scottish leage player i would be interested in liverpool signing is celtics james forrest or gary hooper

Hes good in the spl wich means hel probz make it in a championship team not a pl team ! D

I think hes goin 2 west ham CRAIG

Not good enough for pl same as arteta and adam? get a life mate

21 Jan 2012 19:15:14
Being linked with jelavic what the funk? I would love to see the sell on clauses in reina, agger, Suarez contracts cos once this season is over they won't want to play for lfc anymore too many false dawns.

Jelivic is just the type of striker you will love in ur team, fact, will score more goals than ur 35 million player , him and saurez will be a good partnership.

Tottaly agree m8. jelavich is good in spl but that is the spl

How many games have we got to loose be we realize kenny is not our saviour ,hes a hero to me but he keeps faith with the wrong players n that makes him a liability jelavic wont come theres no carrot

They're part of the "false dawn". The performances lately are below whats required. But that doesn't just happen at Anfield. We can sign player yes, but they have to be the right ones at the price. I'd rather support the team in a lower league than support irresponsible owners and management who bought just to keep the fans quiet.

You don't win games and no one decent wants to sign for you. Then you get linked with sub-par cack players like this

We are finished, Lfc are mid table team. I thought the crisis was over. The squad and management are in serious sh#t! Game over!

Jesus - if Jelavic is the best we can aim for, then years of mid table crap lie ahead.

I could score goals in the SPL - its a sh1te league with only 2 half decent teams.

21 Jan 2012 19:07:28
I think that we should sign Pablo Hernandez from Valancia from what I've seen of him he barly ever makes mistakes and we really need a Right Winger and I think that he would be a quality signing and if we also get Solado then the two of them would link up awsomly and score a few goals!

This is a rumour? or just your wish list? :S

Why would they come from Valencia who are 3rd in spain and getting in the champions league every year to a team like Liverpool who are finding it very difficult to get into the champions league.

21 Jan 2012 19:04:23
Liverpool are on the verge of signing the Macedonian forward Ivan Trickovski from Apoel Nicosia.

Trickovski and Granero will be the only 2 players signing in January (along with the young lad Teixeira who has joined already).

There you go, everyone happy?

More rubbish, remember a serb not so long ago. we are doomed, messi couldnt improve our team

Is that a made up joke name? Ivan Trickovski?

21 Jan 2012 18:53:21
What's the current situation regarding Joao Texieria eds? {Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed as far as I know. Subject to a medical and signing off contracts he will join the reserve squad shortly.}

21 Jan 2012 18:27:15
@GuillemBalague: Luis Suarez will DEFINTIVELY stay in Liverpool this season, not sure where the rumours come from. Now back to watch some more footie"

As you said EDDS a load of crap!!!

Put yourself in Suarez's shoes...would you want to play alongside this shower? Carroll (£35m), Henderson (£16m) and Adam (£8m), not forgetting Downing (£18m), who is today having his 'best' game in a Liverpool shirt since arriving. Dalglish should be ashamed of his transfer dealings - individually and collectively they are shambolic. The biggest concern for me is if Suarez were to leave for, say, £40m, it would only herald another round of mediocrity that is not ffit to wear shirt.

The eds never said it was crap. They said it could happen but they didn't know one way or the other

When the eds say it you don't beleive it but once he says it its gospel. trust our eds and macca

He can't have meant he was going to watch Lfc because this is not football

Like the first reply said..... Why on earth would he want to stay...when we wont get CL fotty. Plus he will get countless abuse from players and fans.. Oh and he has to link up with a supposed donkey in disguis playing football... I shudder
Dilakh

21 Jan 2012 17:39:10
BBC is today reporting we are leading the chase for Jelavic of Rangers in the SPL? Any legs to this or just old rumours being recycled again?

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16659157.stm

JungleRed

If this is true why the f*** are we after jelavic .....see other top 6 teams after llorente, cavani, hazard, lavezzi, benzema, podolski you know big names who are guaranteed to put in shifts and get at least 12 goals a season at least

all ive seen us linked with are more overpriced british players eg bent, lennon and s**te from the spl....heres a fun fact most spl players that are quality can barely cut it in the championship....look at how prolific kenny miller was now look at him hes only half decent in the championship...
i mean says it all west ham and the likes are lookin at jelavic
its a joke

we neeed to be lookin at young foreign talent

eg
hazard
abel hernandez
douglas costa
mousa sissoko
keisuke honda
moussas sow
doumbia
welliton
lavezzi
etc so on if we want top 4

We ain't going to sign any of them players. How will we attract top talent when we struggle to break the top 4?

Rob

Iam a rangers fan and i need to ask you , have you ever watched jelivic play, you have a 35 million striker who scores hee haw in scottish that means f k all, for 7 or 8 million you will get a striker that will get you in to europe , dont critisies what you dont watch. {Ed001's Note - I watch him, he has no pace, he is not up to Premier League level, that is why the teams chasing him are in the Championship.}

Charlie adam ibrox reject says it all for sh.t from spl

Sorry ed think your wrong their m8, correct me if iam wrong here andy carrol is not a 35 million player , saurez is , jelivic in a good team with better players around him will get you goals, if liverpool dont get him watch the team who does weather its qpr or west ham or fullam see how many he scores and you will regret it. i watch him every week and i think iam more qualified an opinion on him than you, no disrespect ed.

Ed is such .............. {Ed002's Note - Why do the Eds have to suffer the software brained morons like you spewing foul abuse?}

21 Jan 2012 17:05:11
To watch the game.

1. Install the browser Google Chrome.

2. Look in the top right (your right) corner and you will see a spanner.

3. Click on the spanner and select 'tools'.

4. Click on extensions

5. At the bottom right (as you look at it) you will see 'Get More Extensions >>'. Select this.

6. In the search box type 'Chrome Live Football' and search.

7. Click on Chrome Live Football and then click on install. (it may download to a holding file in the bottom left as you look at it, in which case as soon as it's finished click there, but mostly it will install itself)

8. A small football will then appear in the top right (as you look at it). Click on that, select 'live stream' and reset the clock to GMT and it will list all the live games available all over europe and other places.

You may occasionally need to install other programmes or the link you pick will only work on Explorer (in which case cut and paste the URL into Explorer), but you will always get every EPL match (or any other). Sometimes you will only be able to find it with foreign commentary and sometimes you will get it in English. You'll get about thirty links and you may have to look through a lot of them to get what you want. You will also get most La Liga matches, Greek matches, Italian matches and French matches as well as top matches from South America.

Someone also asked about viruses etc. Google Chrome is actually far more secure than Internet Explorer so the risks are considerably less, but you should have decent virus/spyware programmes and run sweeps regularly as a matter of course.

The quality will also depend on the speed of your internet connection. If you have super-speed and have a modern HD TV, consider connecting your PC to the TV via the PC socket on the side/ back.

Cut and paste the above into a document and save it for future reference.

21 Jan 2012 16:50:27
Danish sources tell that Liverpool are interested in Aalborg BK's 17 year old midfielder Lucas Andersen. I have seen some matches with him playing and he is a fantastic talent, and has already played 20 matches in the danish Superliga. Are there any truth

By the Way eds. Do you know if its true we are looking for Lucas Andersen? Daniel-denmark {Ed002's Note - Perhaps one for the future. If LIverpool are looking at him then he cannot move until he is 18 and then I would guess it would be simply for the reserves.}

It's good to get some young players but would be nice to see a proven goal scorer first!

21 Jan 2012 16:47:36
Know how fond of twitter rumours you are eds but there's a big one going round now saying Suarez is off to Real Madrid for 46m euros with Granero coming the other way & Balague is going to confirm it at 5. Any truth in this? {Ed005's Note - Well, I guess we'll find out in 10minutes won't we?}

Well.. did he confirm anything?

Im shocked, this appears to not be tru, Ed, please lift my lower jaw from the floor, it would be appreciated :)

Carb

Was it confirmed then?!

How did that work out for you b*llsh**t*r?

21 Jan 2012 16:24:44
There is a Different between Rumors and News. if you hear a rumors from another site and post it here then no point. as I think this site have more Valuable news then other rumors site. all the Eds and Macca serve us better news then any other site . I say it because I visit so many Rumors site.

R-R

What if this is the only rumours site one follows..like me. every thing that gets posted here is ok unless its repeating

21 Jan 2012 15:59:18
I Donnt think suarzez will will leave in the near future at least 4 more years with liverpool but if he does spain will be his destination and lfc will be looking at a swap deal invloving higuain

This is quite possibly the stupidest post ever.

Any deal may happen in summer. and sure £50m only make Liverpool to think about it.

If Suarez does end up going to Madrid, why would Higuain want to come to Anfield.
Lets just hope Luis stays !!

21 Jan 2012 16:05:53
Scott Sinclair and Joe Allen are major transfer targets for Liverpool in the Summer. However, we face competition for both from Arsenal. What do ye think?

I think there is definitely interest in Sinclair in this window and that we could very well make a bid for him in this window.

Wow, aim for the stars.

None good enough for a champions league team which is what i hope we will be next year!

21 Jan 2012 16:05:29
I have no contacts but got a gut feeling that if Suarez is offered a way out to Real Madrid, he's going to be tempted... If I was in his position, my head would turn rather than facing all the abuse he's going to get from oppostion fans!

Suarez loves liverpoolfc!

Suarez is an over hyped little trouble maker any player who in the last 2 seasons gets banned for 18 games is an idiot,he does not have the ability to do what torres did for us so sell him and sign someone who can score

To the muppet who posted the last reply - Torres no longer has the ability to do what he used to either, but I know which of the two I would rather have in my team.

21 Jan 2012 15:33:12
Juventus have approached Liverpool to see if they would be interested in signing Milos Krasic.

Is it true? Hope it is he looks a good player. {Ed002's Note - Juventus will be open to good offers for Krasic but it is unclear if the likes of Manchester City, Malaga and Roma are still interested in a player who has not taken well to sitting on the sidelines. Krasic has declared his interest in Manchester United and it is not out of the question that they may be interested in him. There is at least one very influential person at Chelsea who very much likes the player and wishes to revisit earlier interest. Discussions have taken place between the clubs with view to a loan move, but Juventus want to sell and Chelsea are not keen to do that. Borussia Dortmund, Zenit St Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkala are also interested and a bid will be certainly made by Bayern Munich. Juventus have made it clear he has no future at the club and have hawked him around a little and Joksimovic has been trying to get Lazio, Liverpool and Spurs interested in the player. They are looking for a fee of around 14M euros.}

Just watched a video on youtube of krasic,looks a good player,would definatley do a decent job for us,and walk into the starting 11 i think :)

Would they accept a loan ed? He is an exciting player despite his attitude problems. {Ed002's Note - See above.}

21 Jan 2012 15:21:07
Ed's do you see Suarez leaving Liverpool for Spanish pastures; after he has been demonized by the media and the F.A.? {Ed002's Note - AS I have said before, it is possible.}

Wouldnt happen after the support we have all shown him although maybe after a couple of years it depends on how much we have progressed but he has said he would love to play for parca towards the end of his carrer.

21 Jan 2012 15:17:57
Torres said he wasn't leaving but did. Footballer's for the majority are mercenaries.

I think Suarez will leave, how can he stay and play football in this Country after he has been villanised by the media, the F.A and by many ex footballers and pundits.

he is called a cheater, a diver and now a racist. Who needs this crap at work everyday?

I believe he'll be moving to Spain pretty soon.

Absolute nonsence. Suarez realises that he has been supported unquestionably by LFC. Wishful thinking from rival fans I believe. Only 3 games to go then he's back and firing for us. Dream on Mancs.

This is Luis Suarez. The man who deliberately hand balled against Ghana and celebrated the miss. Came through media onslaught to score tonnes for Ajax the year after. Bit a man and moved to liverpool and lit up the premier league. He'll be back. Be VERY shocked if he does go.

You gotta be a Manc

Who needs him? We do, now get back to the Manc side!

MR EM

If he moves to Spain though, he'll just get called un tramposo, un buzo y un racista. Same horse, different jockey.

Frankly you could not blame him. If you have read the FA document and the report in the Irish Times it clearly looks like a set up.To have people making the decision who are season ticket holders or guests at ManUtd and Chelsea suggests it was a set up from day one. {Ed002's Note - There was no FA document.}

He will move but not soon. He sees the potentials of the team and he is not the mercenary type of player, he wants real challenge. He is not the type of player who wants to get into a team full of stars. Torres even though he said countless times, his heart is at Liverpool, you could see through him that he is also the type of player who wants to be surrounded by stars. And he made countless times remarks about getting this player and this player. We dont buy based on your wishes Torres. Suarez is very different than Torres and he never said he was a fan. Just that he is excited about our history and he wants to be part of a new one.

He is also a fighter!! He will stay and win trophies with LFC.

Suarez is a loyal player, look at him at Ajax and worked his way up to captain, he's stated he wishes to stay at Liverpool beyond his contract even when the whole racism row was going on, Luis will return and he will punish the people who boo him with goals for our club with fans who throughout have supported and sung his name, he is nothing like the Torres who left us for a rival

Hes a class player it will be sad to see him go but at the start of the season he said if barca came nocking he would jump at the chance to sign so he may well be happy at liverpool but his heart is at barca

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is ready to offer Luis Suarez an escape from his Liverpool nightmare with a €30 million bid for the striker.

Suarez's future at the club was cast into shadow last night after it was reported that negotiations have begun to take him to Real Madrid.

Liverpool have maintained their support for Suarez however, and will be unwilling to let him leave the club he joined for €26.5 million last year. But a number of Spanish sites yesterday claimed the Madrid club have instructed Fabio Montecalvo from World Football Management to begin talks with Liverpool.

Montecalvo, who has close ties to Florentino Perez, was instrumental in the deal that brought Alberto Aquilani to Liverpool and is said to have maintained a strong working relationship with the Merseyside club and it's officials.

More to follow.

What a load of old tosh,Suarez aint goin anywhere mate !!

Go and play silly games on another site!!

Yeah suarez himself said he isnt leaving

I am sure he would offer an escape route for 30 million Euros, so would many other clubs be prepared to pay us only 30 million. Try adding Higuain and they may get a positive reply. I for one can guarantee Suarez will not leave Liverpool in January.

Ed is it the same person that keeps puting all those posts of Suarez leaving lately? {Ed002's Note - No it is not.}

Guys Im only passing on rumours from other sources. If it ends up being nonsense then fine. If it ends up to be true then fine. Lets all just chill a bit.

1973

Oh by the way the source was from News Liverpool.

1973

Must be a Man Utd fan what aload of tripe.

Why must i be a Man Utd fan because i've posted a RUMOUR on a RUMOUR site Im red through and through. You can call me what you want but dont ever call me a Man Utd fan.

1973

Pep pep guardiola of Barcelona's Brother is Suarez Agent. and he have a very good relation with our owner J.Henry . I don't think he will join Real. and 30m Euro is too little this day. £50m may make Liverpool think.

I agree... only maybe will 50m do it, but he wants to play for barcelona one day. And the new policy is to buy players with profit, and there is n profit in selling the man for 30m 3,5m in profit with the prices on all players worldwide. so get real face the facts. HE IS STAYING... BIG FUTURE FOR LIVERPOOL. And after the new the new deal with warrior and Adidas Liverpool worth 2,9mia and new stadium....all things in a bigger plan thats suarez picked to be apart of when he put signature to paper. wait and see...

Change the offer price to pounds sterling and then the clubs can start to talk. £30million is a steal for his talent, if they want to take him mid season and force Liverpool to re-recruit then they have to pay the premium and that price would be approx £40million.

Do we support LFC or John Henry's wallet?
Think about it people.
( Mancs, WUMs and NESV employees excluded!)

Why would we sell him for only a little more than we bought him for. think!!

Liverpool are in pole position to sign Nikica Jelavic as English interest in the Croatia striker intensifies, BBC Scotland understands.

Premier League rivals Fulham and Championship outfit West Ham have been in contact about the 26-year-old.

Responding to interest from West Ham, Rangers boss Ally McCoist said: "They've not made an official bid.

"The reported amount would not be enough to meet the demands of the owner - £6m is not nearly enough

Rangers rejected a £6.5m offer from Leicester City for Jelavic in the summer and claimed they also rebuffed a £9m approach from an unnamed club shortly before the closure of the transfer window.

The player himself later revealed that he had turned down overtures from Turkish outfit Fenerbahce but admitted ambitions to play in England's top flight.

He has recently been linked with Liverpool and QPR before it emerged that informal talks had been held with Sam Allardyce's West Ham.

McCoist, though, insisted that no bids - from West Ham or any other club - had been tabled since the January window opened, despite much speculation about the striker's future

This guy should never be bought while we got carroll!

Buy jelivic and andy carroll will become a bench bunny

21 Jan 2012 14:38:58
Ed how many loan players are we allowed? There have been some good players mentioned on the site who could be available for loan such as Forlan and Krasic. Rather than spending silly money in a window where prices are fluctuated, loan deals would be less risky. {Ed002's Note - A maximum of four.}

21 Jan 2012 14:37:37
Ed's do you know if Joao Carlos Texieria will be on the fringes of the first team or is he being bought as future prospect? {Ed002's Note - He will be joining the reserves initially.}

21 Jan 2012 14:33:41
BBC Scotland understands that Liverpool are in pole position to sign Jelavic. Are we seriously actually interested in him?

According to BBC Scotland, yes!

Whether he is a ''back up'' choice for a striker, and Liverpool have other targets in front of Jelavic, we may not know; unless we sign someone else first that is.

You should be interested he is ten times the player that Carroll is or will ever be.

21 Jan 2012 14:04:01
Could someone please elaborate the situation regarding Joao Carlos Texieria? Is he signing 100% for us? All i know is there's an 'apparent fee agreed', and we have confirmed interest but thats it.. And if we had a fee agreed (which was apparently agreed a few days back), sure there would be more info on it now.
Ed can you elaborate?
Cheers. {Ed002's Note - Subject to a medical he will be signing.}

21 Jan 2012 13:45:16
the player from Italy LFC were chasing was Quigliarella.

21 Jan 2012 13:54:58
juan agudelo from new york rb,heard anything ed's? {Ed002's Note - In respect of what?}

Signing? {Ed002's Note - He has spent some time training with the team but I am pretty sure Liverpool have not made any approach to the MLS about him at this time.}

He has a ankle injury thats all i know

Liverpool are in pole position to sign Nikica Jelavic as English interest in the Croatia striker intensifies, BBC Scotland understands.

Are things not bad enough with carrol now u want jelavic lol

daviebhoy08

He aint good enough! i aint an old firm fan but he wouldnt be of our standard. he might do well at your "smaller teams" but is nothing to be excited about.

I didn't type ''i want this guy at Liverpool.''

I simply shared the information i thought to be of some interest to other Liverpool fans. So i shared it on a Liverpool rumour website, for people too read.

Some of our fellow fans are in other Countries that are unable to get the same information that people in England, Britain or even Europe can. So i felt i should try and share it.

Hope we dont get him.

You should hope you get him, he's a far better player than Carroll

21 Jan 2012 13:41:32
Juan Carlos Texeira will travel to Melwood on Tuesday for a medical

21 Jan 2012 13:39:03
We get 13M a year now from Warrior. We dont now pay 30M a year interest on debt. Thats an extra 43M a year we get from this time last year.

Add the money from standard charter deal and the turkish tourism deal and the kitty each year is about 70 million each summer to start off with on new players {Ed002's Note - You have a rather naive view of the club finances. IT is just nonsense.}

It is a naive view of the finances but there is a small point in there ed, that we are better off financially...However I'm pro the owners, I believe there is money to spend but for whatever reason, it isn't being.. {Ed002's Note - Much better off financially but still losing money.}

Ed's, if he or she has a rather naive view ............. {Ed002's Note - We don't need trolling waste like you on this web site. If you wish to abuse people I suggest you find some more suitable outlet.}

Ed002 ..what makes you so sure that lfc are not making money....they we losing about 30 million a year before all these savings from memory {Ed002's Note - Plus the looss of £35M from not being in the Champions League, plus the costs of wages still being paid for the players like Joe Cole and Christian Poulsen; plus the costs associted with paying off many of the players who left in the summer. There is no question the club is losing money.}

Although Ed002 would still be right anyway regarding the club's finances, under normal circumstances the post would perhaps (as the other guy said) have some merit at least. However, the approaching FFP rules mean all clubs will be operating in new financial territory and there is a lot of trepidation out there as to how things will shake down, so the days of living dangerously are gone for a while. We will not be spending every extra penny that comes our way but will rather be ammassing as much as we can to run the club as a sustainable business rather than a playboy's toy - as Ian Ayre has repeatedly stated. If that frustrates you then take heart that Liverpool FC stand to be in a very good position FFP-wise in a few years (not bad already) and then we will possibly steal a march on our rivals who (with the possible exception of Arsenal) do not seem to be taking any of it very seriously.

Ed02 we have had champions league revenue for two years..the sale of players would ahve been one off hits and the net salaries must be lower than where it was..caroll and suarez is equivalent to torres
jovanovis was on 120k a week..that takes care of downing and henderson..an there were another 14 odd players that left {Ed002's Note - I am sorry there has been no Champions League revenue. One off hits or not they add to the losses. You just have to accept the club is still losing money.}

Not being in CL counts as "losing money"? This is rather naive view. Being in CL earns you revenew, not being in CL doesn't count for loss!
Losses are the debts, the salaries and whatever else we should take out of our pockets. "IF we were in CL we would have been getting this money" does not count as loss! First time I've heard this kind of financial thought. When I open a store I'll say "Ok IF I dont get 1 mill customers I'm losing this money" instead of "IF I get 1 mil customers I'm earning this money". {Ed002's Note - The club is losing money - just face up to it. The last set of accounts showed a £20M loss, the next two will show more.}

Eds, you not completely correct. the debt was cleared to a point where we pay 1-2m a year and we will now be earning 25m not 13m from warrior which is substantially more than we were previously. We did pay off some contracts but also sold some players and the pay offs were to players not earning as much as others. Regardless to what you say you nor I know how much we pay for JC and CP it could be half or less! Lille are in CL. We fill our stadium 95% of games and have a massive international presence. We may not be turning over alot but I believe we are very close to if not making a profit. I am not naive, and its foolish to say you know more than everybody else in certain areas. Remember how many times you said we wouldn't sign Suarez? When I have been informed that he was lined up from summer 2010 which is when Torres wanted to leave but he promised the club he would stay another season! {Ed002's Note - I did not say anything about £13M a year or the debt, that was the original poster. Payments for Cole and Poulsen total £6M a year. As an example of how little these players were earning - Degen was getting in excess of £60k per week. The club is not making a profit. Just accept it. As for Suarez I admitted I was wrong - why not check on those I was right about instead of trying to discredit me?}

The fact is when the yearly financial report was released it said we are still making a loss, like ed says, its all there. Whilst we are in a better financial situation than we were and we seem to be capitilizing on our brand a lot better, with greater sponcership income, the deficit is still there and will be for a while as it takes time to sort a club out, though we are nowhere near as bad as many of the clubs across europe. I am not ITK or anything but I do read whats available to me so i can make a educated assesment

Loafmaster flex

Ed02..you miss the point..lfc settled a lot of positions with players so that they now have a positive cash flow and p+l..the losses will be shown in last years accounts but i dont believe lfc is incurring losses at the moment with the ssquad they now have {Ed002's Note - The last set of accounts showed about a £20M loss. The accounts to July 2011 will show losses due to lack of income from CL, money spent getting rid of a manager, medical teams. The accounts for the season we are now in will also show losses - sorry.}

Ed002 you seem to be showing a little arrogance towards financial matters that we know not the details of yet. Lfc merchandising on the website has grown significantly under Ian Ayre and other sources of income will also have grown with the return of a more positive atmosphere at the club. Many people refused to put money in to the coffers of the two cowboys and Anfield attendances are up on last year. Let's pass judgement on finances when the financial year ends and just concentrate on what matters, football. FSG have allowed us to do that, they will look after the finances. We have no need to crusade and lobby anymore!

Black Red {Ed002's Note - It is not arrogance it is the simple truth. Do you know how much income the merchandising on the web site provides? Just suck it up.}

I have to admit I have no idea whatsoever , but I suspect you do not either which is my point. I do know year on year sales on the Internet in the retail sector continue to grow and the product range lfc now offer is huge. As I say I once was just a football fan, I am uncomfortable with the activist that the last few years have created in many of us reds.

Black Red {Ed001's Note - I would have to disagree, the reason I asked Ed002 to help out on the sites in the first place was because of his knowledge of the financial side of the game. Something I was sadly lacking in.}

I thought ed002 was a woman who supported Chelsea? {Ed002's Note - What on earth gave you that idea?}

Liverpool head chase for Jelavic NEW

Liverpool are in pole position as Fulham and West Ham express an interest in Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic.

Source : BBC website.

Yeah he gets goals in the spl but so does samaras

21 Jan 2012 13:14:06
ed's in your honest opinion do you think the rumour with krasic could happen? Cheers,
True Red {Ed002's Note - As I explained he has not taken well to being on the bench and I think that always makes teams nervous. I would think Liverpool may have the same view as Chelsea and feel a loan would be best.}

Hope we get him he has pace which our squad now hasnt got please get

Would it be a loan to buy or just a loan? {Ed002's Note - Juventus don't want to loan him out - they wish to sell him. There is another post explaining that furter down the page.}

21 Jan 2012 12:50:48
Heard we have interest in Isla. Don't know if its true but I watch a lot of Italian football and he looks like a great player. Very versatile, so would be very valuable to the team.
Cheers, Conor.

Seen some posts about Clint Dempsey being a potential target because he is American? First and foremost he is a footballer, not a maarketing tool. KK I'm sure would kick up a fuss if a player was signed to sell shirts if he didn't fit the ethos he's trying to bring back to the club.

I wouldn't mind Dempsey as a signing as he is very versatile, works hard, good in the air and importantly he scores goals! I thought we would have made a move for him when Woy was here.

RedSG

I think this rumour died weeks ago.

It is old but why spend millions on overseas overpriced players that take ages to adapt to the english game. where as dempsey is a GOALSCORER that works hard and can keep up to the high tempo of the premier league

21 Jan 2012 12:20:44
Is there any chance of us getting milos krasic from juventus? {Ed002's Note - Juventus will be open to good offers for Krasic but it is unclear if the likes of Manchester City, Malaga and Roma are still interested in a player who has not taken well to sitting on the sidelines. Krasic has declared his interest in Manchester United and it is not out of the question that they may be interested in him. There is at least one very influential person at Chelsea who very much likes the player and wishes to revisit earlier interest. Discussions have taken place between the clubs with view to a loan move, but Juventus want to sell and Chelsea are not keen to do that. Borussia Dortmund, Zenit St Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkala are also interested and a bid will be certainly made by Bayern Munich. Juventus have made it clear he has no future at the club and have hawked him around a little and Joksimovic has been trying to get Lazio, Liverpool and Spurs interested in the player. They are looking for a fee of around 14M euros.}

I've heard a rumour that LFC are aiming to enter negotiations for Honda at a very late stage, is there any truth in this?

I doubt if there is any truth in it at all. He wouldn't pass the medical as he has had a lot of trouble with his right knee recently, and I have heard that the last operation he has was not a success, to the extent that he has asked not to be called up for Japan's world cup qualifiers in February. Until recently Moscow had been quoting silly prices for him in an attempt to keep hold of him, and now he's suddenly available on the cheap. I think this is more to do with what their doctors know about his knee than worries about him eventually leaving on a free. I would expect them to bite off the hand of anyone who wants him at the moment, but that won't be us. -SH-

Would like him to sign he is better than chalie adam and we should of got him for 8 million last year

21 Jan 2012 12:00:01
Ed just heard a rumour that we are looking at ELISEU from Malaga. seemingly his is a very fast tricky winger. I don't know much about him. Has anyone heard anything? {Ed001's Note - all I know about him is that he is Portugese, that is the extent of my knowledge about him.}

21 Jan 2012 11:54:16
Firstly I apologise for the tenuous nature of this rumour, but something about it seemed worth a mention.

My friend And fellow lfc fan works in Schiedam in the Netherlands as a logistics operator. One of the guys in the office that he works with was at school with Luc Castaignos a while back and has always gotten on with him, Apparently they email from time to time.

Last week he told my friend Mike he'd had an email from Luc that seemed a little out of sorts. He'd been genuinely annoyed at Inters bid for Tevez because he really feels he can perform at the highest level and Tevez is going to ruin any chance of a starting spot for him. He then goes on to claim two things. 1st that he'd be assured of the opportunity to shine if he joined LFC because he knows that ex Ajax striker Suarez is serving another ban and second he is not the only inter player to have received enquiries from LFC in the last fortnight. Apparently he asked Diego Forlan about his experiences of playing in the premier league and Forlan mentioned that he might be returning there, if The Tevez deal went through. When Luc said that Liverpool would certainly be looking for a striker, Forlan said that his agent had asked him to mull over a potential loan move should the Tevez deal go through. It seems that the potential arrival of Tevez at Inter has really set the cat among the pigeons and LFC are looking to capitalise. If anything this confirms that we are, at the very least, making clever enquiries for striking cover.

Guys I know it's a tertiary source, but don't be too harsh. I just post it as food for thought!

YNWA

Diamond

That was exactly what thourgh, but only if inter got a deal thrue with a striker. for example tevez. something telling me that PSG and inter at the moment fighting for his signature.

Interesting stuff - good post

Your source and post seem more realistic than many we see.
CR

The tevez transfer is key to all the deals around europe at the moment. if inter sign him then hopefully we can benefit in some way. i see him going to italy over france , and man city are probably clogging the market up on purpose. the deal could have been done months ago given mancinis links/contacts with the club yet wont go through until the end of month. mancity a**eholes in my opinion and indicative of the way football is going... becoming a political and money making stomping ground of the rich, tying it all up for them selves.

Top post mate. A nice antidote to the constant moaning about the club not signing a messi or neymar every day of the transfer window. Keep it in-house KK and DC and stuff those who don't like it. Cheers.

Beautifully written, but you can read this a number of ways.

It seems a genuine post so thanks for sharing your info. To be honest, Forlan would be a great loan if it could be arranged even if he is an ex Manc!

21 Jan 2012 10:51:45
I've heard a rumour that we won't sign anyone in the January transfer window because clubs don't want to disrupt their season by letting a key player leave and any price will carry a premium against signing in the summer. Kenny assembled a squad that he felt was good enough and I think he still thinks that. He's also pretty stubborn. Once maxi and kuyt leave in the summer there will be more opportunities to bring players in.
Pieboy1812

I cannot believe that Kenny really thinks the current squad are good enough to get 4th spot. If we don't make a decent signing we could be in for a tough back end to the season.

This is probably about as close to the truth as anything that i've seen written on this site for the last few weeks. Fear a lot of dissapointed reds come Feb 1st. Hope it's wrong but somehow I doubt it.

David

LFC's top target is Dempsey - He is the player the owners want and are willing to pay 'over the odds' for - He is seen as the link between LFC and the USA, which has the potential to be an amazingly lucrative market and, with the new US kit maker, they want a US figure head to boost commercial sales - Like it or not, its all about business (however, think he would be a great addition)

Um, no he's not, you just woke up and plucked a name from thin air, Dempsey will do today...muppet.

I suggested Clint Dempsey over a week ago and I think there was only one other person who thought the same way.I cannot see any problem with signing him at all. Strong,good engine,scores regularly...and that is without the PR stuff with him being American

Puzzled

Are you insane mate? We pay well over the odds for a moderate 30 year old because he's an American? Thank Christ you're not in charge of our transfer dealings!

Thanks for such a constructive response from the first brainless person ! Instead of being abusive and giving us your unwanted mindless post, how about something constructive? Or is that above your limited level of intelligence? Any rumours? Just because you do not agree, does not make it wrong!

Wots the eds view on this {Ed001's Note - good, versatile player, strong, decent pace, excellent in the air, scores goals and offers a very good option. I can see why we would sign him, but I don't think it is likely, we are not signing players for marketing reasons, no matter what nonsense people come out with.}

If we were to sign a player for marketing purposes then I'm pretty sure we'd have looked at Beckham. Or John Terry, he's always in the papers him (joke)
Regardless of the marketing idea, I think Dempsey would be a good signing. Scores goals. Works hard. Provides for strikers too.
But why would he leave Fulham? He's enjoying his football and playing regularly.

Just complete rubbish.What more can you say.

Do we want a team capable of winning trophies and competing at the highest level? If we do we need to sign top quality players in the positions we need them.Dempsey has a reasonable goal scoring record but at 30 he doesn't fit in with Liverpool's transfer policy.The poster says we are willing to pay "over the odds" for him not because's he's a long term prospect or a young talent but because he's American. I have nothing against Dempsey but neither would I rush to sign him at an inflated price.I have a distinct feeling that if we made a move for him this site would be flooded with posts claiming we are settling for 2nd best and have no ambition.

Yes....and maybe we could get Insua back to promote fast food with a MacDonalds contract !
ANFIELDPETE

Where would he fit into the team then? Perhaps you think that Stevie G would move to the wing to accomodate him? I don't think that you have thought this bs through properly

hi to all eds.i m a reader frm malaysia,n of coz a fan of lfc.1 of ur replies stated lfc had signed a fwd.is he'll b first team squad?if he is,he cant b that texeira frm lisbon,right?really app if u cn clear this up 4 me.luv dis site.whenever trnsfr windows arrive,this site i enjoyed most,always. {Ed002's Note - The player is the Sporting lad Teixeira and he will go in to the reserves squad initially.}

I didn't understand a word of that. Is it possible to block textspeak posts or perhaps open an under 14s page for them? {Ed002's Note - It is difficult I know and many do get deleted, but given that English may not be the posters first language we should show tolerance.}

I'm sorry if my "textspeak" words made most of the readers confused. since i'm using mobile, i thought it was ok to use 'em. thank you so much for the tolerance, eds. btw, i'm 29, but maybe i am "under 14" since i just followed LFC about only 10 years ago. izanlfc15 {Ed002's Note - Maybe I shouldn't have given you the benefit of doubt then.}

Liverpool to sign Lee Trundle for a fee of 13.5m with add-ons

{Ed016's Note - if they can prize him away from the welsh side of Neath and being 35 doesn't effect him}

Worst rumour ever!

Well I admire your sense of humour if not your sources.

It worries me that 2 people agree!

BARGAIN!

Corkpoolred

If u offered him 13.5 pies I think he would walk here even though he's a blue

What are the add on's, pies????

Funnier still is that a couple of years ago people on here wanted to sign him!

Lee Hughes. Now there's a 30 odd year old fat ginger player we should be throwing that sort of money at.

Surely its affect

i was in the pub last night and the rumour was were about to offer Kuyt and Carroll for Jack Rodwell {Ed016's Note - how many beers? }

So Andy who we paid 35 million for and kuyt who has been before this season a consistently good player and apparently we have been offered 5-10m for. For always injured jack Rodwell? 45mil well spent!

Funny I was at the bar getting a round in and I heard it was for Lionel Messi.Maybe it was me that was drunk not you!

Kuyt and carroll for rodwell ,i would snap theree hand off for that

Best reply by ed16, BEST REPLY EVAR!!! ahhaha

Kuyt is a better player than Jack Rodwell will ever be !

Ed says how many beers, I say how many brain cells, what a goose!!
The Doctor

Hahaah ed

Stop playing Top Trumps when you're bevvied mate.

There should be alike for some of the Ed's replies. Sometimes I wonder if I read the site for the rumours or for the snappy replies to some of the idiotic rumours / comments.

the player from inter was diego forlan on loan however this relies on their tevez deal going through. {Ed016's note - you know what, that actually makes a little bit of sense.}

barnesjnr 777 {Ed016's Note -

Bingo! but hes not young is he, macca said he was young. ah well I wouldnt say no to forlan for the rest of the season!

He is out injured (again) for some time.
So not so sure it's Forlan.........

Heard that Forlan has played for two clubs this season and cannot play for a third. Something to do with fifa regulations.

Still confident of 1 or 2 new senior players joining this month eds? {Ed001's Note - possibly, though it is not proving easy, I still expect one at least.}

Taut you said yesterday we signed a striker??

21 Jan 2012 00:39:27
is there truth in aaron lennon & nigel de jong ? and also are we looking for a striker, thank you.

Anybody else worried about the squad Kenny will name tomorrow? If we played 5 defenders home to Stoke, what will we do tomorrow? Honestly I don't care, as long as Carra is not in the starting lineup, and Bellamy plays for atleast 20 minutes. Bolton are brutal, so surely we can win this one (and yet, I am already biting my nails down to the bone).

I think kenny will g for the 4-4-2 formation with the usual team . henderson, adam , gerard ,and downing ,with carrol and bellamy in attack the ususal 4 at the back , agger in for carra

Bellamy as to start one hell of a better player then carroll

We played three defenders against Stoke. I know you didn't watch the match, as if you did, you'd have known that Glenn Johnson and Jose Enrique were both playing as wingers for the majority of the match. We used three centre backs and Enrique and johnson spent more of the game in the Stoke half, both halves of the match.

You are listening to that coke head Merson who i understand didn't watch the match in full either. {Ed016's Note - agreed}

Agger is fit so don't worry, carragher won't won't be starting. {Ed016's Note - I love Carra but his legs finally caught up, he was never a pacey player age was never going to help. Love him though, proper legend}

That depends n how much ya want Bellamy to play in the cup game v city midweek, because he can't start both. {Ed016's Note - Yeah he won't start v bolton. I am wondering if Kenny is going to blood some youth today}

Carra will be our manager after Kenny. Legend

Are you always this nervous in situations you cant control? If you were a passenger in a fast car, would you poop?

If you can't affect it, don't sweat it. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Carra will be our manager after Kenny. Legend

yeah that is my big fear!

Being a legend does not make him a good manager. not everyone can be like King Kenny. im not slating or anything, just saying.

Kaizer

Pepe, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique,downing, gerrard, adam, maxi, shelvey, carroll, Thats my quess for the team today, think they'll save bells for the cup but have him on the bench just incase

Ed16 there is no youth in the travellin squad apart from suso

I would give Glen Johnson a run out on the RW. He can get forward and will go past people.

Carra has been a loyal servent to lfc pity loyalty doesnt go both ways remember istanbul

Juventus have told the Reds they can have Krasic for the £12million they paid CSKA Moscow for him in 2010.

Liverpool are not interested in paying that much for Krasic, but they may consider taking him on loan.

Krasic, 27, was highly rated at CSKA and could boost the supply line to Andy Carroll from the right wing.

I know this is true, because it's from the Daily Mail. ;) That is obvious sarcasim btw.

He is crap sorry. voted in seria A worst 11

Has the Mail suggested that prolonged exposure to Milos Krasic can give you cancer?

Remember the last serbian winger we had? I rest my case.

Rafa's Purple Goatie {Ed016's Note - You just generalized an entire country. well done}

The only reason Krasic would be coming to England in 2012 is to represent Serbia for DIVING at the Olympics, the bloke is a discrace!

Yes he can play when he is on his feet but I'm sure a quick check of OPTA will reveal his best stat is his ability to perform a tripe pike ....coming to play for Liverpool? No thanks! I'd rather stick with Downing on the right coming inside all the time.

Your saying u wouldnt have krasic for our right wing? Ur having a laugh!! The lad is quality never mind him being in serie a worst eleven! I pray to god we get him for our right wing, i think he would flourish in the premiership.

For once it would appear the tabloids may be right. Liverpool offered to take him on loan as have Spurs after an approach by Juve to liverpool to buy him for £12m which is what they paid 18months ago for him. This was on the basis that Liverpool were interested in Krasic before Juve bought him. Juve said they will wait and may change their minds about a loan if nothing materialises by deadline day.

I've seen a lot of krasic n honestly he would be perfect for our wing. I know the papers are just getting my hopes up. Dikwods!

According to Stephen Martin, the Serie A player was Quagliarella. Texeira is still a possibility. I know the ed's aren't huge fans of twitter but it's a fairly reliable source.

@stephen1martin and also take a look at @jeremy_LFC who called BOTH Texeira's being watched and interest back in December.

Messi is coming to Liverpool, Ronaldo is going to La Galaxy and Barcelona and Real Madrid are forming their own league where theyu play each other every week on the Moon.

Source:
~Twitter.

Twitter isn't always useless. 90% is rubbish yes, but I trust these 2 especially stephen martin as well as others from TAW. Neither are unrealistic targets.

Honda is apparently for sale with anyone willing to top an offer of £14 million.

Sow is apparently £10 million, he has a preference for the Premier League and has sounded out Liverpool as his desired choice.

Krasic's price tag is thought to be £16.5 million, i don't know if he'd come to Liverpool, i know he has flirted with United, but they seem to have gilted him at the alter, he might be willing and we know he is available for the right price.

£41.5 million could potentially turn us into a very formidable squad, all would retain a decent resale value. this is the sort of business we should be doing in the transfer market. imo

40.50

2 days ago both these players had been sold according to many posters but now you say they are both available! Just £42 miil is all we need? Wow lets spend it right now you looney as long as you tell us where we'll get it from.

''Top an offer of £14 million''

So being a million over the price of all three players added up together.

Thus the total sum would be more towards £41.5 million, as opposed to your incorrect sum of £40.5 million; because Honda has already got an offer of £14 million lodged from Lazio, Liverpool would need to offer more than that to ensure any deal in their favour.

We'd get £35 million from selling Luis Suarez to Real Madrid, i'm sure the other £6 million could be raised one way or another by Comolli. Not asking for this to happen, i'm just offering my opinions ''imo'' = in my opinion. ;)

Mmm, 3 players form 45 mil,you make it sound so simple.

We thought about the same when we bought Carroll, Henderson, Downing and Adam thinking that would make us a formidable team but it hasn't been the case...

Everyone is entitled to an opinion pal. Everyone is a little frustrated and shooting you down. At least you haven't quoted FIFA 12 or something like that..

Myk

"We'd get £35 million from selling Luis Suarez to Real Madrid, i'm sure the other £6 million could be raised one way or another by Comolli. Not asking for this to happen, i'm just offering my opinions ''imo'' = in my opinion. ;)"

That would involve selling one of our best players though, why on earth would we do that?

Sow gone to fenerbache hasnt he?

I dont know why there is so much negativity, these are much more realistic targets then half the stuff posted on hear usually, they are all available, and honda and sow have both said they want to play for liverpool, although i do not know if sow has already left lille, i hope not, because these players are exactly what we ned to push for that 4th place!

United have covered Krasic with gold?

What the current squad needs more than anything is time. This is the first season at Anfield for a lot of the 1st eleven. The squad will need tinkering with, but in the summer...not now. We a lot better side this season than last. We were never going to get 4th spot season anyway. Lets concentrate on getting a striker.

I'm hearing from my source Liverpool are close to agree a fee with juva for Krasic £9 m plus add ons final deal could be £12 min total.

Under rafa we were linked with this right winger Krasic is class but fallen out at juva. Deal depends on juva excepting fee up front rather then part payment watch this space....

Deagster

Sources, dont make me laugh. you read it in the paper

I don't think part-payments are allowed anymore, i'm sure all transfer fees must be paid upfront now.

The player from Serie A the LFC were looking at was Quagliarella.

Negotiations with David Texeira are on going, the team is after a forward.
