Genoa have said that they will not consider any discussions at this time after AC Milan made an offer involving Matri, Gabriel and some cash. There is a lot of interest in the player, perhaps including Liverpool.}

Any thoughts on the player,e? I've never got a chance to watch him really. Is an improvement over our current lot?

First time poster her. Do you see any other positions being strengthened in January apart from possibly a goalkeeper? Or would this depend on injuries as well? Thanks

Hi Ricky. Without being condescending to you and I mean that most sincerely, I suggest to you that you read the posts.
There has been immense speculation in the news and on this website, some reasonable some just damn daft (even ludicrous). But this is however a "Rumour" site, so my suggestion to you is to read up, follow along, and your question will hopefully be answered.
From my experience the Eds will give the best answer to their best of their ability. They do not make it up for your or my entertainment. If you follow along, long enough, you will probably get a good insight and that is the closest you will likely get to the truth. If that disappoints you then I'm afraid you are going to be unhappy here. We need to do our own research, but there is nothing wrong with asking questions.

No offence taken Cactus Jack, not been on here very long so I'll take your advice and read a bit further down. I know you always need to take things with a pinch of salt, no matter who says it and how reliable they are, take the Remy thing in the summer. I'll get to grips with this site pretty soon and I've I've seen so far I think it's a great one. Thanks anyway

I don't think you'll see long-term solutions addressed in January. It's more about if a deal is available. If a good prospect (like Coutinho 2 years ago) becomes available for 8m then we'll probably move for almost any position. Other than that a cheap veteran GK will be looked for and possibly a goalscoring striker with a lot of off the ball movement, but I doubt we'll find the latter w/o paying a lot of money.

Alright eds, have posted here for a while but just wondering about 2 central midfielders. One being James Ward-Prowse who is an excellent player in my opinion Englands best u21 and the other being Thiago from Bayern? Not sure if he's getting any game time there. Has anyone looked at these player?
